Is adeptpowersports.com Legit?

Placed an order (Order# 10-311758-209947) only to get an email telling me it was backordered for a month. So, I ordered it elsewhere and emailed AdeptPowerSports requesting they cancel my order. Sheesh, I got a nasty, snide, low class reply lecturing me on my assumption that the part would be stocked and had I been patient I might have gotten the part sooner than a full month. Evidently, 'Support' isn't too ADEPT at anger management. What a creepy site.

We ordered parts from their website and got an email confirmation that the order was made. I waited then got an email a WEEK LATER that my order was canceled. Why? Because they said that our billing address didn't match the shipping address! Why isn't their website set up to immediately alert a customer online about this? I called their customer service and the lady on the phone said that there is nothing she can do. I asked to speak with a manager and she said, "...you are not an existing customer," then hung up the phone. Horrible business!

I ordered from them and then read reviews. ( Shame on me ). I, then, cancelled the order through Paypal and I received a nastygram from them. These are direct quotes with no grammatical errors. "We are sorry you this mental issue is happening to you. Get better." and, "You see 0.0001% negative reviews from gullible people like yourself" and, "well you should go on and read more reviews and stew in your mental sickness. Average age of "negative" reviewer for our website is 65 by the way."

Tried to cancel an order that did not ship out in promised time. The owner said he would charge 20%. I refused to pay the 20% and he proceeded to cuss me out and make multiple threats. This company should not be in business.

They charge your credit card right away regardless of stock availability.They send you parts of questionable quality.You request a return but instead receive a threatening insulting abusive email from "customer service". When you reply to it, they block your email and notify you.They may accept your return at their discretion and charge a 20% restocking fee and sell those same parts to the next unsuspecting online shopper.It's brilliant! Try it.

Almost all of the other reviews on here seem to be the same disgruntled customer. Just wanted to point that out. I don’t think it’s fair to judge a company’s trustworthiness based off of one guy leaving 8 reviews.

Ordered a gasket and oil filter that appeared "in stock" which still hadn't shipped after 5 days. Found what I needed elsewhere which would be here far sooner and tried to cancel my order only to be met with hostility and getting berated whilst being told I'd have to pay a 20% restocking fee for something that hasn't even shipped. Any established business should have at least a miniscule amount of respect for their customers but there was none to be had here. Stay far away from this company.

If I could give less than 1 star I would give negative stars that’s how upset I am at these clowns. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! 20% restocking for parts that NEVER left their warehouse. And THEN the clown who responded to my email in the most unprofessional manner possible. Talking about “we’ve been in business for 10+ years you don’t matter to us”. Ooooh boy you lucky you’re behind a keyboard.

Don’t not buy from this company, a big scam behind a fake web site. Customer service is a kid running a computer, management must be the same kid that runs customer service. They hold your money for weeks then refund you after they scam some one else...WARNING don’t buy from adeptpowersports.com

Ordered part listed as in stock. Shortly after order item was placed on "backorder". Even though every other site online lists the item as (Discontinued by the manufacturer). After 4 months of it being on "backorder" I emailed them to get status update. They canceled my oder and replied with very unprofessional responses. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. will never shop with them again.

Placed a order for motorcycle parts, received a email saying order was shipped. I checked the tracking number for 8 days said “usps waiting for packing to be dropped off by adaptpowersports” contacted adaptpowerspoarts was told it’s been shipped out. Asked for a photo proving it was shipped out, never got one. Called them they got extremely nasty over the phone, contacted my bank they started a fraud investigation and I won the case and received my money back! Horrible company, they lie, don’t order anything from them

Pathetic company and excuse for customer service. Read all the other reviews never use this company. Run by a child or someone with kindergartner mentality. They steal money as “restocking fees”. They cancel orders without permission. They swear at you in emails and on the phone. Terrible company. I hope they get run into the ground and go outta business.

Terrible. Extremely rude customer service. Canceled part of my order because they ended up not having dropped my order below the free shipping threshold (I order from them because it was cheapest if I got all parts from one place). So then they just charged the shipping charge out of the refund for the one item. Awful awful awful

Worse customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I normall ever leave reviews but in this case I just I could not believe a company can have such bad service towards customers trying to buy from them! Unbelievable the way they treated me.UPDATE!About a week after this review was posted, the guy from Adept Power Sports contacted my credit card company and reported it as a suspicious transaction causing my credit card to be blocked.SIMPLY, THE WORSE COMPANY IVE EVER SEEN

You are lucky you got a backorder so fast from Yamaha. Our website clearly said Yamaha - PLANE BEARING, CONNECTING ROD, Part # 6JD-11656-00-00 was on backorder when you placed the order. So why would you be frustrated now? Because you didn't look at what you are purchasing? Maybe you are just frustrated with yourself. What's really frustrating is random customers talking out of their ass making nutty accusations.

These guys were unable to process and ship my order within their advertised period. After contacting customer services I found them to be the rude, unprofessional people that the other reviews on here also reported. Don't use these guys; they can't fulfill their orders and act like d*cks when you contact them about it.

Horrible customer service ordered on June 18 they day check back mid next week for an eta, I check back they say nothing yet and to check back again mid next week. I check back again and they proceed to tell me to stop asking since thats not going to make it come any quicker. You tell me twice to check back and when I do they get bothered and I commented on their lack of professionalism. I spend close to $1000 and then you canceled my order because me asking you for an eta bothered you. Never shopping here again

THESE PEOPLE ARE SO UNBELIEVABLY RUDE!!Dont even ask a question, you'll be chewed out for it and talked down to like a child.Customer disservice at its finest.If they react so poorly to me double checking inventory, imagine how horrible they'd be if I placed an order and something went wrong! I placed an order for a painted front fender for my 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 LT Classic. I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The fender arrived and was painted and decaled to match my bike perfectly. Fit was perfect as well. Did cost a bit of money, but I was happy to get this brand new OEM part.

I wish I could score less than 1-star for AdeptPowerSports.com — they are from “Adept”, more “Inept” than anything else… my order of over $1,000 was noted as backordered, so I just asked them to cancel the order — and their unprofessional response demonstrated poor customer service, at a minimum, if not simply being rude.ADEPT INEPT CUSTOMER SERVICE • Go ahead do the BBB complaint - we'd love to embarrass your dumb ass publicly.
