I received a lovely scented candle as a gift, unfortunately the glass casing was not heat resistant and caused damage to my white kitchen benchtop. I contacted Adairs with photos, to alert them to the fact they are selling dangerous candles. Instead of taking the time to investigate and rectify the faulty candles they chose to claim I hadn’t used the candle correctly!I strongly advise to stay away from Adairs candles as they may cause damage and Adairs is not prepared to take precautions to ensure the safety of their customers
Stella at Doncaster Adairs pulled a face at me when I said I don't have my phone number in my account. She then made a big public deal about having to search for my account using my email address, and completely ignored me when I explained why, like I wasn't even there. Stella was very arrogant and seemed to think she wielded some sort of authoritarian power.When I contacted customer service to complain, the response took several days. Hannah was lovely, however, it appears she's the only nice Adairs' employee. I asked for my account to be closed because I won't be shopping at Adairs again. Hannah offered to close my Linen Lover membership as well (it's a fee-paying membership) and Adairs was quick to pocket the membership fee, despite my complaint and the fact I closed my accounts because of terrible and rude service. Stay well away from Adairs, there are many other home wares stores with lovely staff who respect their customers. Adairs does not.
Worst customer service experience from Sharon at the camberwell store yesterday and today! I usually experience great customer service from most of the stores, but not this time. I was after an item that the camberwell store had in stock and I wanted to make a purchase via phone/link which I have done so before at other stores at around 4pm. Sharon was rude and would not send the link and said it was too late in the day. This item was the last of the stock that's around and she held the item and price for me but I had to go out of my way and make arrangements for me to have time to physically go into store the next day. When I purchased this item she would not let me use my linen lovers voucher even though the purchase was over $50 (which was the minimum requirement). Overall a terrible experience and I will never be going to the camberwell store again or be renewing my linen lovers ever again! All I wanted to do was purchase something and I should not have encountered such a horrible experience!
Slowest despatch & delivery known to man!! I won’t be ordering online again that’s for sure. I ordered baby gifts for a baby shower that’s already been and gone so I had to go out & purchase more items. I have another baby shower this weekend that I could utilise the gifts for and it’s looking like it won’t arrive by then either! Ridiculous,
Absolute worst online ordering service. Waited over a month for a sheet set. Only responded when prompted. Then after another week received a generic email to say due to a technical error the sheets were no longer available. So in actual fact they allowed me to purchase an item that was most likely already out of stock. Lift your game Adairs. Disgusting effort. From now on will go to Bed Bath n Table first.

I bought a Henna doona cover online. The product is not good quality. It's pilling and looks very old when I have had it for under 6 months. Adairs customer service are saying this is fair wear and tear and I didn't follow instructions for use. It's a doona cover not a tv! I haven’t had this problem with doona from other brands. Very disappointed and won't use Adairs again.
Ordered a bedhead 1month ago. Still have not received it, no updates to the tracking since the 9/11. Adairs don’t care, barely reply even after trying their website, social media. Beware - Customer service non exsistant full of excuses every corner ! Called up to speak with a team member regarding an online order and was greeted by a rude woman who hung up on me. She said “it hasn’t been dispatched yet”and I said “on an order made over a week ago?” And her response was “yeah we’re busy”. Um okay Adairs, you’re not a small business, you definitely should be able to fill orders in a timely manner. Then told me I should expect to be waiting at least another week and hung up. I had started to ask her about another enquiry and midway through talking she literally hung up the phone. I had to purchase a Linen Lovers membership with my order, and have not received a confirmation email regarding the membership number, so if I want to purchase again from Adairs I will have to call customer service again to track down my membership number. Considering how poor my experience was this time around, I doubt I’ll ever shop there again.
Exceptional service.Tamara,Northland store, Preston,Victoria, went above and beyond. Tamara arranged to transfer an item from another store, then called to advise me the item was on the way, and stayed in touch until the item had been delivered to me.Customers put trust in your staff to deliver the goods, have knowledge of the stock they are selling, have good listening skills and are able to problem solve . Tamara shone in all these areas.Adairs would do well to highlight Tamaras customer service skills in their training video.
Extremely poor customer service from the online team.. have been chasing the whereabouts of my order and i keep getting the same ridiculous answer everytime "we will contact our warehouse team and get back to you".. im sorry adairs you are completely god dam incompetent.. Your customer service is terrible. No return calls and you’ll have a response in 48 hrs that never happens is a joke. Looking at all the reviews on trustpilot I can see I am not the only one that has experienced this. You would think with this many negative reviews they would do something about it!
I had a bit of trouble with my linen lovers last week and was trying to purchase something, and their customer service was amazing. I was frustrated initially with the website, but they fixed my issue straight away and went above and beyond to do so. They ended up discounting my item further because the price had dropped since I’d ordered. Both people I spoke to were helpful and understanding despite me being panicky and frustrated. Especially Cass, so if Adairs are reading this, she’s great.
Absolutely terrible online ordering system -four weeks later and three phone calls and I finally have the item that was supposed to be shipped within three to five days. Don’t try sending in an email to enquire where your order is either - it’s up to seven working days for a response - and four weeks later I’ve never even received a response to my email. I ended up calling and was told I’d be receiving a phone call back to follow up on where my order is - and never received that either. I had to them call back. Save yourself the stress and don’t order with Adair’s online. What a terrible system with very, very poor customer service. I’ll never shop there again.

Don’t order online!I ordered online in November hoping that it would be delivered before Christmas, the didn’t even ship it till 4 weeks after sale. They do not answer their emails the only way I got a reply was to post a negative comment on an Instagram post. Worst customer service ever. Don’t bother ordering online. Your product will never show up after being delayed multiple times. If you ever need a refund you can forget about that too I had to call up 3 times and they still haven’t sorted it out months later.
Purchased a flanellette sheet set online. When opened the package, the flat sheet had a massive hole in it. Called Adairs asking how can I get a set replaced even with the different design, and was told I can only get a refund, as they can't replace the faulty items unless they are exactly the same design or colour. Their system that doesn't allow it so if the item is out of stock they can't give you the same product in a different colour, only refund :(. Very disappointed!!!
