The adairs.co.nz website is associated with a trendy Beddings sector. We wanted to see what they say about themselves, so we extracted some content from the website. Here's the conclusion:
In 2022, we engaged an independent emissions expert to quantify the volume of greenhouse gas emissions (scopes 1 and 2) generated across the Adairs Group - comprising of Adairs, Adairs Kids, Mocka and Focus On Furniture - and identify opportunities to reduce them. These findings will inform our emissions targets for 2025 an 2030 and will be reported on in the Sustainability chapter in our Annual Report.

We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this above-average score? We came up with the 77.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to adairs.co.nz's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Known. Standard. Fair. tags above. Long story short, we deem this website low risk, but you still need to pay attention to details and use common sense when engaging in online transactions of any kind. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning adairs.co.nz, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between adairs.co.nz and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of adairs.co.nz. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of adairs.co.nz, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. adairs.co.nz is a low-risk website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether adairs.co.nz has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

Safe Check

Two weeks and still not even dispatched. They just keep sending emails about "oh sorry we have a lot of orders". So hire more staff? With the prices they charge for average quality, made-in-China bog-standard products you'd think they could afford to hire a couple of additional warehouse staff. Avoid buying online at all costs. Completely useless service. I should have listened to the reviews.
Not sure how a company can send promotional emails stating if we order by 12 Dec we will receive item by Christmas, when ordered mine mid nov and they can’t get that to me by Christmas. It’s sitting in a warehouse waiting on toll apparently. They are completely misleading as a company and I won’t be buying from them online again.
Would rate no stars if I could.... Terrible service, been 2 and a half weeks and no news on my order, tracking has no info, when I ordered it said it was being dispatched from an Auckland warehouse but the tracking email says it is coming from Australia. No responses to my emails. Absolutely shocking experience especially when you are paying an absolute premium for their products. Will definitely not be getting anymore of my money - not they they seem to care.....
an unresponsive company with no customer service,no replies to emails ph.calls.They happily take your money say it is shipped but cannot track it ,I understand that our couriers are swamped but answering an email enquiery is only manners. If you do not have enough staff then why not hire some, It is xmas time and I have a delightful grandaughter that won:t get her doll .
DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!!Decided to order 2 items online as I couldn't see the style I wanted from their store. It has been 2 weeks now and products are still being processed (based on online status).Decided to email them but got no answer except a generic THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE reply and that the order will take a while!I needed them for the guest room for the guests that stayed last week! How disappointing.
Customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. No communication, I had to talk to a chat bot, with no outcome. Delivery took forever and eventually a tracking no came through, but did not work. . I mean COME ON ADAIRS. I receive from China within a week. With the money we pay for your product we expect more. Will not deal with them again
Love the 'in-store' experience and the products. Ordering online... forget about it! Terrible online customer support, especially if your order hasn't arrived!I made an online purchase, and once I had paid in full and completed my order, was afterwards informed that there could be delay of up to 19 days. My order has now been over 7 weeks. When calling customer service you get an automated voice recording you are told to fill out a form out online, to which no-one replies to.Tracking number goes no-where. What are your loyal customers supposed to do?
Do not buy from their online store! I made two separate orders, days apart, at the beginning of March this year. Order #1 took 3 weeks to ship then another 6 weeks to arrive. Order #2- for the first month I got weekly emails about sorry for the wait, we're working on it, then they just stopped. Requested a refund after I'd been waiting 2 months for dispatch, luckily they were fairly quick and good about it. I am am an avid online shopper and this is by far the worse experience I've had. They shouldn't be allowed to ship to NZ and it sounds like my experience is the norm
The delivery wait time is ridiculous. 1 month. This has happened everytime I place an order and they blame the third party shipping company ‘Toll’ everytime. Ahhh … use NZ Post or anyone else that delivers across the country in a better timeframe
Have purchased a few items, happy with the quality and price in the sales but the delivery lets them down. From the day I receive notification the item has been despatched to when it actually leaves the warehouse/depot is at least a week. Not sure what happens in that week but if other big box stores can deliver within a few days I'm not sure what Adairs does. Good products, but don't order if you don't want to wait.
Same as other posts. They were pushing sales in advertising that prompted me to buy Christmas presents - now a month later, it still hasn't even been dispatched, no responses to email, phone and facebook messages. Would never buy from them again.
I am literally hundreds/thousands out of pocket and you don't care! I have called at least 4 times and was told they can't call me back with an update as it is a public holiday and they don't have access to a phone. They would'nt pass me onto a manager, said they can't help with my missing order that was placed 5 September and I am still trying to get an answer 2 months later!! This order cost me $2,115.98 I have chased the courier, they sent it to the wrong address and can't recover it, they told me that they have notified Adairs to arrange another one to be despatched... I am still waiting and out of pocket!!
Terrible customer service and overpriced crap quality products. Didn’t receive any email confirmation of my order or tracking number. Took multiple follow ups with this information to be sent to me. When I chased the status of my order I was then told they sold to me products that were not actually in stock (almost 2 weeks out of pocket). They offered a $20 online voucher but let’s be honest why would I ever want to shop with them again after this experience. Part of my order arrived (that was actually in stock) and I went to put the sheet on to find a hole in the bed sheet. Just unacceptable service and poor quality products that are so over priced. Spend your money else where adairs.co.nz is a joke!
Placed an order at the end of November and as of today, January 10th have still not received it. Nor have I received any response to the two customer enquiry forms I have submitted, which appears to be the only way of contacting them. If I haven’t heard from them, or received my good by the end of January then I will be forced to initiate a credit card chargeback. I understand that shipping is disrupted at the moment but there is no excuse for poor customer service.
Very disappointed with the delivery service you have. We are in nz and we were expecting a delivery for a baby daughters birthday but it got extended and extended and extended and now it is going to take another 19 business days to be delivered. If it is a third party you using for delivery then change it because I can assume you are using lots of customers like me. I keep getting emails of new products and sales but honestly all I want right now is what I ordered but never ever ordering again. Thanks 🙏 Have
Love your products, Adairs. It's your delivery and customer service that lets you down. I've been looking for my order for two months--you don't even respond to emails and your phone service is not available. This doesn't look good for you. Do better. It's not difficult.
Not that Adairs cares, but absolutely shocking customer care. My order has not arrived, there is no tracking details, no response to my email enquiries and judging by the other reviews - nothing will be forthcoming either !!
WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! ORDERED 28/5. DISPATCH TOOK 2 WEEKS. NOW ALMOST 3 MONTHS LATER, NOT ARRIVED AND THEY WON'T REFUND AS THEY CAN'T FIND THE ITEM ... SO BECOMES MY ISSUE TO CARRY THE DEBT. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!
I ordered on the 1/11 and it is the 15/11 and it still hasn't been dispatched. I spent over $600NZD and needed these items for a reason. Reviews show that this happens all too often. No response to my questions regarding when this will be dispatched. Not happy! I am feeling like I've been scammed.
I ordered my item online on 13/10/23 still waiting for it to be delivered 17days later… if I had known how bad their online offering is I would have driven to my local store and bought it home and moved on with my life.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
