Is 7bellotas.com Legit?

My last order of 2kg premium ham worth about 300€ arrived with 20% less amount than ordered worth ~60€. I wrote 7bellotas three emails in English and translated into Spanish asking for their proposal how to solve this issue but never received an answer. I‘m a customer with them since 2020 and faced this issue now for the third time. Looks like this was my last order.

Ordered ham for xmas on the 14th dec, received email confirming shipping on the 17th - so far so good. After a few days thought i would check the location, followed instructions on the shipping email to find the tracking number only to find it wasn't listed on my order. Emailed 7bellotas to query and after a 2nd email received a tracking number that showed the package was only picked up by the courier on the 22nd Dec....5 days after the original shipping confirmation. It's now in Germany somewere and not with me for Xmas. I'm sure it will be delicious when i eventually get it, just a shame the shipping experience has been poor.

7Bellotas have finally fulfilled my order, so I have two pieces of ham as ordered.One is double the size I wanted, but that is not something to worry further about.I could live without their harassment asking me to update Trustpilot to reflect their, albeit late satisfaction of my complaint.It remains true that they took no action before reviewing on this site.Hopefully they will in future look to fulfill orders as placed and not substitute for their convenience, and where the customer is unhappy they will look in the first instance to address their dissatisfaction.

I bought an Iberico ham and a very nice holder, which I recieved this week. The ham is VERY tasty and the holder is a real eye-catcher. During the delivery process I contacted the company with a question about the delivery. The replied promptly, which felt very confident. To be recommended!

I have placed an order online 11 days ago; supposedly my order would have been delivered on Dec. 23. My order has been sitting for days in Barcelona with a tracking number for a box of 0kg?? and I don’t seem to be able to get an answer on what is going on. An immediate full refund is all I would ask at this point.

1 star: Bad – unacceptable experience, unreasonable and rude conduct.My experience with 7Bellotas has been absoulutely horrendous!In a case where they where suppose to refund me my money, for a piece of ham, that wasn't vacuumed correctly, they handled it with lies about the transport-company GLS, saying they have been at my address several times, to collect the ham. But GLS had never had the order from 7 Bellotas! And therefore had never been at my address to collect anything. - I spoke to GLS, and they told me they had not received any orders to collect anything from me!Asking 7 Bellotas to give me the Parcel number/a tracking number/reference from GLS, they just don't answer me! Just the same frase, that GLS had been trying to pick it up, but i wasn't there. They have been dragging this out for several months now. And I am not gonna get my money back. I have NEVER experienced such bad disgraceful service before!

I purchased a ham from them through ebay, and here is my review:First, it said free shipping. That was the first lie. They replied the next day shipping was not free, despite the ebay description said so. So I had to pay shipping outside of ebay, which is against their rules. If they screw up with the shipping price, take the loss and raise the price of the item. I could have reported them to ebay... Secondly, it was to include a stand and knife. The knife was not included afterall. And then their real bs started... They claimed customs had opened the package and taken the knife. Simply not true since all the original packaging was intact. And if they would have taken it, why did they leave the holder, which in a previous review here, was taken by customs? Their view of customer satisfaction is below anything I have seen.All in all, there are better places to go for your bellota ham

If it was possible to give this company 7 Bellotas, zero stars I have done that. I bought a Ham Holder Stand Jamotec F1, to a price of 900 euros, when I received it, it was broken, in first contact they 7Bellotas was ok, and promised to send a new holder, and I should return the broken one later, then they totally changed and run away from their promise, and excuses with transport company insurance and all other totally for me not acceptable issues, this is a matter between 7Bellotas, their manufacture and the transporter, nothing that I should have been a part of. Then they offered that I could just buy a new one with discount of transport, (34 euros), this is so fare out, bad customer service. they don’t pick up phone, their landline number is not valid.Don’t buy anything from this company they cheat you, promise a lot - and then totally drop it. Si fuera posible dar a esta empresa 7 Bellotas, cero estrellas lo he hecho. Compré un Jamonero Jamotec F1, a un precio de 900 euros, cuando lo recibí, estaba roto, en el primer contacto que 7Bellotas estaba bien, y se comprometió a enviar un nuevo soporte, y yo debería devolver el roto más tarde, entonces cambiaron totalmente y huir de su promesa, y excusas con el seguro de la empresa de transporte y todos los demás totalmente para mí no es aceptable cuestiones, se trata de una cuestión entre 7Bellotas, su fabricación y el transportista, nada que yo debería haber sido parte de. Original review written 19 October 2019:I have three things to complain about: 1. I ordered four different products, but once I finally received the order only 2/4 products were right and the other two had been replaced to something else without the company letting me know. In addition, honestly the 48 months cured cut ham had been stripped of all fat so it was not nearly as tasty as it should have been. Very disappointing when you pay good money for something that you “know” will be delicious. 2. The delivery time. When I placed my order, I got an estimated delivery time four days later, the package was supposed to be delivered to my home. In reality I got my package more than a week after the said delivery date, and I had to drive 66 kilometers to pick it up myself, adding another 15-20 euros to what I in reality paid to get my order. Also, I had to call all different possible delivery companies myself to try and find out where my package was and how I was supposed to get it (I did not get any information from 7Bellotas about this). 3. The complete lack of customer support from 7Bellotas. Naturally I told 7Bellotas about me getting the wrong products, the delayed delivery time and that I had to drive far to pick the package up myself instead of having it delivered to my home. The response from 7Bellotas was right out rude, especially when they questioned me about ordering what I ordered instead of just accepting what they sent and be happy about it. Whatever happened to “the customer is always right”?! If I wanted to receive the right products they wanted me to send the wrong ones back, paying for the delivery myself since “it is to expensive for them”... And a refund for the additional cost of me driving to pick up my package? Forget about it, they never even addressed that question. They said I was going to be refunded for the difference in cost of the wrongful sent products (they sent me cheaper ones), but three months later I still don’t have my money. All in all, 7Bellotas is a bad company with a bad attitude towards their customers. If these things would happen in Sweden, you would first of all get the right products sent to you without having to pay for it and without having to argue and being treated like a moron, at least if the products cost less than 20 euros a piece. Secondly you would get refunded for the additional cost of having to drive yourself to pick up your package. And thirdly, you most probably would get a discount code of 10-20% to use for your next order, just showing good will from the companies side. Do I recommend 7BELLOTAS? No way!EDIT/Update 27 september 2021, more than 2 years after my purchase and almost 2 years after writing this very honest review:Still no refund from 7BELLOTAS. this company is just BAD!EDIT/Update 10 November 2021: 7BELLOTAS keep posting wrongful information that they have refunded me - THEY DID NOT GIVE ME SO MUCH AS A PENNY BACK! WORST COMPANY EVER!
