2degreesmobile.co.nz Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives 2degreesmobile.co.nz a pretty low trust score on the platform: 15. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 15 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to 2degreesmobile.co.nz's industry. The algorithm flagged its seemingly suspicious success, even with a newly registered domain. It also detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning 2degreesmobile.co.nz, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between 2degreesmobile.co.nz and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of 2degreesmobile.co.nz. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of 2degreesmobile.co.nz, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. 2degreesmobile.co.nz is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether 2degreesmobile.co.nz has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether 2degreesmobile.co.nz boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, 2degreesmobile.co.nz.

Even one star is too generous. Customer service is frustrating, unhelpful, dismissive, and lacking any effort to resolve issues. Also, I had asked for a manager for some help, but request was ignored. I regret choosing 2degrees and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
2 degrees have rubbish customer sevice people on the phone are snot nose little buggers no knowledge at all terrible service switching to starlink so #@#÷× you u 2degrees
Review is a bit on the late side but, 2 degrees sent me a tracking number for a new modem I hadn't ordered - wasn't until a few days later I was told my current router, would need to be replaced with "their" router. Having just purchased a costly router to improve performance I was a bit annoyed. Anyhow, fast forward to now, wifi speed is absolutely hopeless inside the house and drops constantly (my guess is the terrible aginet modem that was supplied) regularly find streaming services wont load due to connection and phones etc end up on mobile data. Overall disappointed as this should be hyperfibre with a supposed 2000 mbps which it is not a very large portion of the time. Didnt choose to be with 2 degrees but they bought our original isp and there's only a few hyperfibre provides to pick from.
Terrible software and customer don’t care culture. Not helpful at all and non supportive staff around the country.
Best eva customer service from Jessie B at the Albany 2 degrees store..He was imformative patient with this mature tech savvy lol not women...Helped me get fone id done my research on ...Set up fone transferrd all my imformation and fotos etc in nick of time as fone bleeding to death infront of our eyes with pixel bleed...such an intentitive young man great communication skills friendly just awesome young man thank you Jessie keep up the good work Queen of crowns J Taia
Horrible software, last year data pinata would have a invisible pinata this year, when it sends me my code to be able to play
Reception is very poor. Even the Fibre keeps on dropping and the have ridiculous fees to pay when you are forced to move elsewhere. I am forced to move away from them as they cannot even keep my fibre on. DO NOT JOIN THEM YOU WILL BE DISAPOINTED
Worst customer experience I have ever had, with any company. They take weeks to reply to queries and don't even solve anything. The customer service team clearly strive to meet KPIs by replying, and so they reply with the shortest, simplest answer possible that vaguely relates to the original issue to "close" the case. It is such a pity they have some of the better product offerings, which means anyone wanting to take advantage of their pricing has to put up with some of the worst customer service in the world!! I will be changing providers as soon as a suitable offer comes along. This companies' customer service is PATHETIC
I have been a loyal customer for over a decade. Number got a message that any bills were overdue b/ notice off occasions where other $ was taken out. Turns out they’d upd my bill by 20% because contract had expired. Didn’t contact me to discuss setting up new plan etc Had no money for food for 18mnth old and teenage, parents deposited $20. 2 degrees took 14 of it within 10 minutes. There’s more I could go on about but that was my reward for 15+ years of loyalty.
Today we have spent a whole lot of time with 2degrees on line helping us with the set up of fiber. Each technician we encountered was absolutely amazingly experienced and patient waiting for us to complete the task asked of us.They worked us through our problem to finality. We were most impressed with the service we received.
Bullshit service.company is making fooling people.i will advise to everyone ignore 2 degree shift another company.no good service.no network in many areas.
they were responsive when I was wanting to sign up, since then, non responsive customer service. My old broadband provider was gobbled up by them too, so now I have fibre and mobile with them. Seemed ok though.Wife has been on voda/one for donkeys years, paying a small fortune for a plan she wasn't utilizing, so we moved her over to 2deg mob, only for auto renew to fail on her second month and they didn't update her plan, instead they kept the plan alive buy using her $20 credit to pay for her phone calls and data and texts that would otherwise be included in a $19.5 plan. Have tried getting hold of them 3 times this week, computer says no. I will be taking both my broadband and mobile elsewhere. No time for customer support, but time for social media marketing atleast once a day.
Joined these guys for fibre and they offered a connection date of 27/11. Their customer service team phoned us the day after asking a bunch of questions, ALL of which were answered when we signed up online. We then spent days playing phone tag and trying to get answers from them about why our internet still wasn't connected. They finally connected us on 3/12/24 but then refused to honour the six months free prime video that was advertised on their own website! After the disgusting "service" we told them to cancel our contract, they then tried to say we would have to pay them a termination fee due to being outside of the 5 day cooling off period, yet they failed to meet their contractual obligations and connect us on the promised date, or provide the prime video offered. We lasted less than 24 hours after being connected with these clowns and ended up returning to Spark, as we would rather pay an extra $25 a month and have reliable service than stay with these clowns another day. Avoid at all costs!
When it was good for almost 14 years it was really good. When it got bad it's really bad. Still have there sim card. They then decided prepay then they decided good by pork pieI had always payed on time and been a loyal customer. Well that's my stiry
I tried to cancel my expensive plan 2 weeks before it was due and switch to a prepayment. The staff said they would proceed it after the due date. Of course I was doubt about that so I checked it 1 day after the date, obviously they did nothing and still charge me another $40. So I called their customer service centre to ask for the switching, it has been 2 days and nothing happens yet. Too bad!!!! Will cancel the whole family’s SIMs and never go back to 2degree
Absolute cowboys. AvoidHave been a loyal customer for years and am moving overseas. Unable to cancel my broadband plan at a date that suits me without paying the full month of unused data. Disgusting way to treat customers. Have now got no internet for a week before we go as I refuse to pay their designed rip off policy
I signed up for a travel contract which was set to auto-renew. I went to the app and clicked stop. Weeks later, I am charged anyway. When I go back into the app, I realise it hasn’t stop and every time I try to stop it, it processes for 5 minutes and then an error appears saying it cannot stop it. Reached out to customer service 3 times and got no response. Avoid, there’s loads of other better providers in NZ
Glad to see the back end of this creppy company with their bag of tricks . Customer service is not good at all. Never had a bad experience with any other phone company. 👎
Not impressed. Paid my acct only for them to take it again an hour later by DC 😡 left my acct overdrawn. After 3 goes to customer service 🤦 I was told 3-5 then the 3rd operator 5-10 working days to be refunded 🤬 what are you, back in the 70s? For a NZ service provider your systems are absolutely backward. Money generating at the expense of your customers. Shoddy & despicable.
pathetic, but they were the only few options in beginning. am still getting email from them after disconnecting and moving to rocket mobile. they dont have a proper system to know when we leave them, what a pity"Attached is your bill for this month for Account Number ). The total amount owed is $0. We're all about keeping things simple. As the amount owing is less than $5, it will carry over to next month and show on your next bill, so no payment is required this month. However, if you'd like to make a payment, you can find out how here."

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
