I can't speak highly enough about 1st Rescue and Recovery! They provided outstanding service when my car broke down. Billy, the recovery truck driver, was incredibly professional, friendly, and efficient. He arrived promptly, reassured me throughout the process, and had my car safely on its way in no time. We rang to report breakdown at 8.45am on Friday. The vehicle was left in a vulnerable place on Rigby Street in Salford. Throughout the day we got a number of calls to inform us that the recovery vehicle would be there by a certain time.We sat in the vehicle with my disabled daughters from 6pm till 10pm. I took my daughters home, having to leave my wife alone on a vulnerable st. We left the vehicle at 12am and contacted the RAC to let them know we were leaving it unattended in a vulnerable place.I returned the following morning. Eventually the pickup truck arrived at 12.30pm. The driver was disinterested and rather rude. He was only interested in getting away

Assistance arrived within the time initially stated. Although the operator was not able to rectify the defect he was very courteous and helpful and was able to transport the broken down vehicle and myself to the location of my choice. I would certainly recommend using this company.

Absolutely brilliant service from them, especially the pick up guy Sam. Arrived promptly having kept in touch with us before arrival to make sure we were ok and to confirm ETA. We were stuck in the city centre of Manchester in busy traffic and filthy weather. He was just such a happy, polite and knowledgeable person. We missed the gig we were going to but have to say we had a good time being driven home by Sam in his pick up truck. Great service all round. So much better than the bigger breakdown companies.

After giving a very detailed explanation of my situation that my car was breakdown on 9:30 pm and my car breakdown in Residance area in oldham, that night very heavy rain with strong winds the out side temp around-2 and recovery vahical came At 1: 45 AM .However when the Recovery vahical arrived, Driver came down my car taken photos and video and he told me I can’t take your car because no more space but my back side 3 car space is available that time and he told me special recovery vehicle and equipment would be needed to recover my car at a cost of £250 to £400 cost.I requested to driver here more space available easily can take and also I request for batter jumper but driver told I can’t give because company policy after driver left so friends this company doing customer service like this….😌very bad service..After I contact 24/7 Recovery Oldham company and In 15 minits recovery vahical arrived and in 3 minit my car Taken from breakdown palace and he charge only £100. The company Honner name is Waqas Iqbal very good and helpful person so friends think 1st Rescue driver told no space available so Waqas Iqbal how taken my car in 3 Minit.😊 Because they know job very well..

This company were allocated to us by the AA. The delay in attending was unfortunate (partly caused by the AA not giving them our precise location) but once they arrived they were excellent and the operator I spoke to before they turned up was really helpful.The recovery driver was a really nice person as was the initial man who confirmed the car needed recovery.Overall a very good service.

Great service,great bloke who took my car to my local garage.very pleased with service and driver arrived half an hour early.

First class resolved problem in 20 mins but had along wait due to the service being stretched due to braekdowns

Rescue service was fantastic was just let down by the AA.

The only reason this place is getting one star is because the driver who arrived was polite, although he didn't do anything apart from plug his computer in and tell me I need to change my plugs. They were supposed to arrive at 10:45 and they didn't turn up at my house until 12:15. I'd called in about 7pm. And they didn't fix the problem. There was actually no point in him coming. Changed all my plugs as advised and it didn't do a thing. He told me they don't check the plugs or he didn't have the equipment to take them off so he hadn't even looked at them. If you'd have actually looked at the engine and checked it, you could have figured out the problem. Bonnet didn't go up. Waste of time

Waited 4hrs with no sign of the AA recovery truck. Contacted these guys & within 15 minutes my car was being loaded onto their recovery truck. Friendly driver, great price & quick recovery.
