Quick way of changing energy suppliers, yes. Nonetheless, I would have preferred to have a review of my current account before switching. I frankly will not know if I am now with a supplier and paying less.

This company will over charge you and use estimated bills rather than actual reads. This company also charged me full rate during 2022 Floods, when I had turned power off before evacuation and wasn't able to get home for 4 months. Will never go with this mob. Be careful dealing with this company and make sure you compare your meter to what they are charging x

Very smooth signup experience, quick to provide online account with status of transfer. Only issue was the email welcome pack referred to a different plan name ‘zero discount’ than what we had signed up for ‘1st Saver Online’..also did not show the plan reference code which both combined I wouldve used to validate we were on the correct plan as requested. The conditions and charges were however correct.

There wasn’t a long hold time before reaching an agent, once the call was connected it took no longer than 5mins to complete everything; the team member that took my call was clear, concise and very polite. Sending a link to my mobile number to accept terms and conditions is a great idea! I could make sure my details were entered correctly and could accept terms and conditions without having to sit through a call where the agent has to read them out to me.

The 1st Energy discount reminders are really very helpful. Every month across on both email and SMS I get timely messages making it very easy to take advantage of the pay on time discounts every time. Every time I check my pricing 1st Energy they are always price competitive giving me no reason to leave. These two reasons I really like this energy company, an odd thing to say I know.

I've been with 1st Energy for 9 months now and am extremely happy with both the service and the pricing options. I needed to change my plan after the first month and there were no problems whatsoever. Because I have a solar panel array I have found that the feed in tariff is extremely competitive - I am still in "credit" even with cloudy and rainy days here in Tasmania. Definitely recommend.

The sales person from the company was great and well equipped with the info. However, he could make this experience better if the rate after 15KWhr was mentioned during the conversation which I discovered later from the welcom pack. Anyway, overall it's cheaper than my current plan.

Signed back up with first energy for our electricity supply. Can’t get the online access sorted out or view our usage, this has been ongoing with no sign of a solution. Customer service phone line has dropped out numerous times with no call back from the agent so it’s more time spent trying to get back through to someone.

The process of signing up was easy, including a review of where we would be saving money. What didn't give it 5 stars is the timeframe for the turnover, and the lack of information available pertaining to what our charges will be (at the time). It took almost 10 days to process which eats up the cooling off period.
