1800parts.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives 1800parts.com a medium-high trust score on the platform: 75.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 75.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to 1800parts.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning 1800parts.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between 1800parts.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of 1800parts.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of 1800parts.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. 1800parts.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether 1800parts.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether 1800parts.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, 1800parts.com.

Made order in July '24. It is now late October. Took order like item was in stock. Never received item. Unanswered phone call and email. Used paypal. I wasn't charged but I can't cancel the order and am getting no status... Terrible customer service.
I agree with the other customers' reviews. They are AWFUL with responsiveness to questions, emails or phone calls. No reply to several emails, no email confirmation (as promised on the website), and was kept on hold twice for more than 30 minutes each time. No one picks up.I disputed the credit card charges with my credit card company, will not pay it. Never again!
I ordered a bowl cover for a cuisinart food processor back in mid January 2024. When it hadn't arrived over a month later, I called to check on the order and was told it would arrive by late March. I called back today (April 1, 2024) and the young woman who curtly answered my call said "it was coming" but that she needed to update my payment information and then they'd "get it right out to me". I responded that I no longer wanted it months later. Before I could finish my sentence, she cheerfully interrupted me with "Ok, no problem. I'll cancel your order right away." No apology given. No explanation for the delay. Literally no engagement with me or expression of concern about the fact that they basically dropped my order into a black hole and made zero attempt to update me on the status of the order. A terrible experience with a terrible employee who had zero interest in keeping my business, explaining what went wrong, or making things right.
Absolutely horrible - do not purchase from this vendor. Ordered the product on Feb 27th. Had to make MULTIPLE phone calls and at each time they stated I had to call back. Paid a second time on April 2nd and was told it was "in shipping". Called 2 weeks later and was told it wasn't paid for. Explained it was, they checked then told me to call back in two days to get a tracking number. Will NEVER order from this place again. Horrible customer service & they are closed (or not answering phones) during business hours and randomly during the week.
A totally inept company-sent the wrong part. Not the part that was in the photo on their site, and the bag it came in had the right part number, wrong part. Visually completely different. Per their "return policy" I would have to pay return shipping, which would bring the total for two-way shipping to be more than the 2 small parts I ordered. Also in their policy, they basically say I can't return the part because it is for a food preparation machine. The 2 parts they sent don't even match, which should have given the packer a hint that something was wrong. Parts were pricey compared to Amazon, but I read some people were getting wrong parts when ordering from Amazon. But at least I would be able to return the part without incurring further expense if I bought through Amazon.
Worst customer service ever. No confirming email on my order. Could not find the order on their site. Waited in a telephone queue for 45 minutes; no pick up. Sent them a message on their site; no reply. After two weeks I ordered and received the part from another company. A week later the part came from 1800parts.
I ordered a part for my older food processor and, after doing research online, I thought I had found the part. The 1800 parts website says that I cannot return the part if it has contact with food or is washed. That's all fine and good with me, so I placed the order. Once the piece arrived, I saw immediately that it would not fit. When I shipped back the unused, unwashed part- they said that this does not fit their return policy. Why? Because it's a part that is a "food contact" part. To top it off, they said that they "sent the return policy in the invoice", which was AFTER I purchased the part. The invoice also stated that there was no ability to cancel the order.I was totally screwed over by this company, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The "customer service" woman talked over me and hung up on me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Said item was in stock, when in fact it wasn't. They refused to cancel the order when I called to check on it even though it will take close to 2 months to receive it.

“Absolutely horrible - stay FAR away”

Absolutely horrible company to deal with. Terrible customer service. Be prepared to make MULTIPLE phone calls for your items and then have to call to ensure the items are shipped. I will absolutely not EVER purchase items from this company.

“Wrong part, inept or scam company”

Sent the wrong part that does not match the photo on their site and does not fit. I ordered 2 parts to have a spare. One fits, one doesn't, both are in individual bags with the same part number on the bags. Email bounces back from the company, others say they don't answer the phone. Company requires you to pay postage for returns even if their mistake. Will not take returns of food preparation gear parts, even though you can't possibly use the part. Totally inept company, and probably a scam. Tip for consumers:I should have read all the awful reviews before buying from them.

“Very Good Experience - Be Patient, this isn't an Amazon purchase”

I reluctantly ordered a couple random parts for a Cuisinart waffle maker based on mixed reviews found scattered online. Short version, the parts are exactly what I was looking for, and work just as well as the originals they replace. Their website clearly stated that one of the two was special order, and would require 2-6 weeks. I ordered mid-September, and received everything that I ordered mid-November, so ~8 weeks. While most reviewers would find the delay irritating, the fact that this company is willing to source obscure parts, and sell them at reasonable prices to me is fascinating. I'm grateful for the service they provide. Happy customer.

“1800parts,com TERRIBLE SERVICE”

Worst customer service ever. No confirming email on my order. Could not find the order on their site. Waited in a telephone queue for 45 minutes; no pick up. Sent them a message on their site; no reply. After two weeks I ordered and received the part from another company. A week later the part came from 1800parts.

“Scam”

Part on back order for 3 months. Really? I called every week. Backorder. Scam. Stole my money just for a few beaters for sunbeam mixer Tip for consumers:Scam

“TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE”

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! 1800Parts.com provides terrible customer service. BEWARE! ELIZABETH - their "customer service" representative - provides TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. She is a BULLY... masquerade as a customer service representative. I placed an online on March 30,2023. I called almost 4 weeks later and was told that the parts I ordered had been back ordered and would arrive in their warehouse the next week. Three weeks later, I still never heard from this company re: my order. I called the company and had an angry, heated exchange with Elizabeth – the "customer service" representative. The company probably knows this, Elizabeth is NOT a skilled listener! Obviously, her talent is talking over and through customers. Her curt, discourteous, totally unsympathetic, lecturing, icy manner is not at all helpful in helping or calming customers. While waiting for the service call, the company's recorded voice over announces that your staff is "professionally-trained." I wonder if Elizabeth, in fact, has been trained in the disrespectful manner in which she treats customers. Does she actually represents the "professional" culture of your company? If she treats other customers in the same brusque manner that she treated me, I'm not surprised to see other negative reviews of this company, who report similar poor views of this company. Elizabeth talked over me, and through me and would not give me an opportunity to speak. Her manner is fast and furious. I admit I was horribly rude to her. Our conversation was equal in our rudeness. She informed me that my order would be in your warehouse next week. I was offered the same promise weeks promise. I'm aware that "supply chain" issues and problems with suppliers are the current state of business these days. But I also know what good customer service feels like. If I had received email communications from this company, updating the prolonged status of my order, I would not have been so angry. Combining the fact that there was NO communication about the status of my order with a rude, condescending employee, I was angry. My story ends with the fact that Elizabeth cancelled my order. I sent emails to the company and have heard nothing in return. No communications come from this company. That suggests to me that the management knows that they have communication problems and customer service problems... and are not willing to do anything about it. My comments will probably go nowhere and change nothing in how your 1800Parts.com deals with customers. Elizabeth and this company will probably go on doing what they do. I am disappointed, angry and mistreated. If you have read this far, thank you for your attention. Howard Bloomfield Hills, Michigan

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
