Is 123-reg.co.uk Legit?

I was assisted today on the online chat by Andrei F., who was extremely helpful, polite and efficient in quickly resolving all my issues. I was very grateful not to have to waste any time and have things dealt with so quickly and professionally.

I have had a domain query for some time. Razvan-Gabriel handled my query quickly and efficiently. He understood the problem, a DNS conflict, and implemented the remedy immediately within minutes. Thank you so much.

Stupid company. No email. Waste of time. I had an existing account, but because of some TSOhost merger, they have completely lost/duplicated my account, I can not log in, I can not reset password. I can not submit a ticket for them to resolve, due to needing to log in. I'm not having to go through a 'recovery' process, with id, passports, bills. They are an absolute waste of my time. AVOID!!!!!!!

I recently transferred my domain services from TSOHost to Reg123. My emails would not send to Gmail accounts requiring SPF (whatever that is). I reached out to support and chatted online to Felix who promptly resolved the problem. He was very efficient and polite. I have no idea what he did (something to do with nameservers) but I am extremely grateful to Felix.

I'm a seventy year old struggling with this technology.Several years ago, I though I would create my own website with email and used the services of TSO. To me it was quite a challenge but with their help I got there, so I was very concerned that the hosting service was being transferred to 123Reg. To complicate matters during this transfer my cPanel Web hosting service was due to expire, so I took the opportunity to cancel the existing and take out a lower cost version for one domain. Yep, I screwed it all up! I raised the relevant ticket and it was resolved over a couple of days. Not sure I understood what I had done wrong but the handler Mihai D. was patient and very understanding sending me clear and precise written details on how to fix. I still got it wrong (not his fault but mine) and had to phone 123Reg where I had a very nice lady "Emma" who for 90 minutes on the phone, reviewed my ticket conversations with Mihai D. and talked me through to correct my misunderstandings. It is good to know that, even a "Small time low income client" like me received and excellent service and resolution. My family emails now working correctly. My next challenge will be the transfer of website from TSO to123Reg. Again, my instructions are very clear and precise from Mihai D. so I do not evisage any further problems, but it is good to know, that the help offered by phone or the ticketing service even for us little people is excellent.

Laura helped me create a new sub-domain and enable SSL https forwarding for all domains and sub-domains, which I was very pleased with. They went beyond the strictly needed with advice for other aspects on the way.

I was very worried that someone had tried to steal my domains after receiving concerning emails. As I received these emails in the period of transferring. I went on the online chat and chatted with Andrew T. He was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond to find details and reassured me. Needed help setting up mailboxes and, as a mere mortal, don't understand a lot of the jargon. Spoke to Rizwan-Gabriel on the chat line. Response was quick and very patient. Good customer service.Don't like the fact that I now have to pay to get email forwarding but that's life I guess.

I've been with 123-reg now for over 5 years and had excellent service. I have recently upgraded our emails to Office365, Tony was 1st class and went above and beyond to help and set everything up.

Unfortunately my domain has not transferred properly, but I am conversing with a lovely agent called Roxi and so far she has given me every confidence my issue will be resolved quickly. I contacted 123Reg with some email deliverability issues and Alex B helped me solve them quickly. Also highlighted some things that would help me web hosting experience (including an upgrade on my server). Overall a great support experience.

We had a product no longer required, but had been renewed, but as this fell within the 30 day money back guarantee I was able to get a refund, thanks to Andrei F. in the support team.

Awful company. Was transferred from TSO Hosts and put on the 123 Reg Deluxe hosting package, twice as much than TSO Hosts. Due for renewal and they want £83.88 Have been trying to speak to someone about going onto their economy package. Nobody has replied and if you use their chat option you wait for hours and nobody is there. Absolutely useless company - now looking for a new host company. If my hosting with 123 Reg expires then so be it - I would rather boil my head than stay with them!

Had an issue which I needed to resolve - got in touch with support and spoke to Razvan-Gabriel on support and he got it solved quickly and efficiently. Always use 123 for my domains and very happy.
