Waitress’ Second Bill

How the scam works:

If you are a waitress working in a bar, you might come across this scam. A couple of guys will dine and drink at your table then ask for the bill. You bring it over but, before they pay, they decide to have another round. You bring the new drinks to their table and the new bill.

They are done again and, while you are on the other side of the room serving other customers, they will go to the bar and pay a different waitress, giving her the first bill. They will even wave at you as they leave.

How to avoid:

When taking them the first bill and they order more drinks, ask for the first bill back so you “can add it on”. They can hardly refuse.
