Highway Robbery Trap

How the scam works:

It’s night and you are driving out of town. While you are thinking of getting to the hotel and getting some rest, a baby stroller in the middle of the road catches your attention.

You stop the car to check the stroller, but you won’t even get to it. A few highway robbers will jump out of the bushes and will take absolutely everything away from you. This scam was reported repeatedly a while back, in Bulgaria.

How to avoid:

The “baby” in the middle of the road trick (a doll dressed in a bunch of clothes) is now pulled in several poor countries. Just drive away, your conscience should be just fine, now that you know.
