zully.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives zully.com a low-to-medium trust score on the platform: 47. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Doubtful. Medium-Risk. Alert.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 47 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to zully.com's industry. The algorithm detected potential high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Doubtful. Medium-Risk. Alert. tags above. Long story short, we caution you about using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning zully.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between zully.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of zully.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of zully.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. zully.com is a suspect website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether zully.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether zully.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, zully.com.

“Love Zulily”

Zulily was my go-to place to shop. I was on it numerous times a day. I bought so much on there. Kids clothes, my clothes, shoes, house stuff, quirky stuff, my collection of Ragon House santas, Christmas stuff, outdoor stuff, kitchen stuff, rugs, bedding, makeup, anything and everything. The prices were great. I could scroll thru there and just find things to buy. It was great for ideas. It was my favorite shopping place.Never had any issues with anything. Returns were easy. I will miss it a lot. Products used:Shoes, clothes, house stuff, Christmas stuff, outdoor stuff, car stuff, jewelry

“New Web Platform is a Nightmare- Buyer Beware”

Zulily had recently made some changes to their site and now my items are systematically being marked as shipped without an email notification or ship date- No one seems to have an answer there. Changes have also been mage to their platform and some great services are no longer being offered. I have been a Zulily shopper for over 10 years and once I get this resolved I will delete their app! “Wont do business with”

Product quality varies widely. Some things ok, many cheap Chinese-made, fast fashion items that may not tolerate a single laundering. I won't do business with a company that requires I provide personal info or "sign up" to make a purchase. Tired of the coercion to get my info. There should be no barrier to shoppers buying as a "guest" or being able to chat with customer service. There is absolutely NO reason they need my email address or anything else for me to be granted the "privilege" of spending my money on their goods. If people would stop forking over their personal info, businesses would stop demanding it. Tired of businesses being hacked and my info being handed out to everyone. Best defense is to not hand out your info. This is no different than going to the grocery and having the cashier demand your birthdate and social security number just to checkout.all the while knowing you are exposing yourself to significant risk doing so.It should be illegal to demand this info. “Scam company”

Bought a pair of shoes that was clearly irregular when I received the shipment. Returned them and stuck paying for incoming and out going shipping cost. Owe $10.95 for shoes I don't have. Thank God I had open their credit card so the return went back to the credit card and I am not stuck with a "store" credit to use on another purchase. I am now cutting up their credit card and will NEVER order from this company again. First and last time.

“New site is not improved version and customer service is poor quality / inefficient training”

I've been a customer for many years and with the new site it's been horrible. Customer service hasn't refunded me for an order paid in full. Store credits are not available from the site. The codes provided are not working. Unable to change Country currency to CAD from USD (default) I'm done with Zulily. Yesterday Customer service assistance had me on hold throughout breaks of 10 minutes for a total of 30 minutes and refund and store credit haven't been resolved. Do not shop here! Tip for consumers:The new website is not user friendly, unable to view past orders history. Store credit is no longer available, need to wait for Zulily email with codes which don't work. Long calls with Customer Service who seem not well trained to handle certain requests. I will no longer be shopping from Zulily. Products used:women's clothing and shoes/boots Value

“Buyer beware”

Bought a leather jacket. Arrived wadded up in a plastic bag and it was polyurethane and smelly. Returned it two months ago for store credit which doesn't appear in my account and customer service keeps telling me they've emailed me with the credit code, and there is no code in my email. Do not buy from them. Used to be a great bargain place for deals but this year it went so far downhill that I'm done. I'm sure I'll never get my credit after about seven emails from them telling me they already sent it. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“I'm done”

I've been shopping on Zulily for more than 12 years but I'm now done. The quality over the years and their customer service has waned. I understand they were sold and are under new management but if you make your products look amazing on your website then expect the customer to be happy with poor quality while paying a typically hefty price tag PLUS shipping then requiring another shipping cost to return it, in the age of Amazon, how do you expect returning customers?! Products used:Returned all clothing Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“This place is HORRIBLE”

I purchased a rug on during Black Friday (11/20). I have family coming over for Christmas along with a 10 month old that is starting to crawl ALOT so the old rug needed to go. I purchased a large 12x15 nuLOOM rug. I even called a couple of weeks ago and was "assured" I would have it 12/8... 12/12 all i received a cancellation for my order. No communication, opportunity to make it right, or even a "sorry". This place sucks just like ALL OF THE OTHER reviews confirm. I'm glad they had to fire people, I hope this company falls apart and CEO ends up in jail. Tip for consumers:Zulily SUCKS - Rip OFF Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Great deals followed by cancelations”

Order items that were autographed. Sat waiting 3 weeks, then they show up cancelled. Told the vendor did not have inventory, checked directly with vendor and they show "in stock." Horrible customer service. And get ready for the constant SPAM emails once you make an order (2-3 daily). Do better Zulily. Products used:Autographed memorabilia and sport clothing Service Shipping

“Horrid 'service'”

Zulily wrongfully sent a $7.49 item ro a collection agency - No one ever contacted me - ever. That is my point. I paid it yesterday when I was FINALLY alerted to it - by the collection agency. NO ONE FROM ZULILY EVER EVER CONTACTED ME EVER ABOUT THIS MEASLY $7.49. MY IMPECCABLE CREDIT - YES IMPECCABLE - now has this debt collection on it. Apparently my debit card expired and the second payment for the $15 item didn't go through. They tell me they tried 11 times! And not once did I receive an email, phone call, letter - NOTHING.

“Will take advantage of customers.”

Do NOT buy from Zulily. Their return policy is absolutely horrible. I needed to do an exchange for my sons shoes for his AFO's (not shoes you can just go in and try on) Zulily makes their customers return through Canada Post (who they have an agreement with) and the customer has to pay the return shipping….so I paid $5.99 for shipping from the company originally. All I need is a size down in shoe and now I'm required to spend $25 a box to ship back. Canada post is expensive. So now I have eat close to $50 plus tax. My son has a disability and they don't care about taking money we need for him. I guess I'm out shoes and the money! So annoyed! Lesson learnt. Will never order through them again.

“Just Awful”

They started out as a limited time brand discounter but evolved into an order consolidator with lots of low quality merchandise from numerous Chinese retailers and QVC rejects, with some recognized brand offerings from time to time (which you usually can find for the same or close to same price on Amazon). Their shipping times (often a month or more) are ridiculous and their return policy is onerous. They suddenly cancelled items twice when I inquired about their status after waiting 3 weeks. They apologized and gave me $10 credit. Obviously hoping I'd be gullible enough to order from them again. Tip for consumers:Unless you recognize a brand name proceed with caution and believe customers' negative product reviews. Expect to wait for your order. Products used:Household item, coffee mug, clothing Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

They scam you into paying them a certain percentage of your money before you get your money and after you pay they demand another payment and then others, bunch of crooks. He just pre eattends not to come S͓̽U͓̽P͓̽R͓̽E͓̽M͓̽E͓̽ a͓̽s͓̽s͓̽e͓̽t͓̽s͓̽ R͓̽E͓̽C͓̽O͓̽V͓̽E͓̽R͓̽Y͓̽•͓̽o͓̽r͓̽g͓̽ I would have received all funds sooner than I did. Zulily has lost my trust and respect. “Thieves”

Allegedly this company suddenly shut down. Closed the site no phones answered no emails answered. Taking customers money with them with undelivered product just days before Christmas Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Poor Quality”

I purchased two items in April, returned one because of quality. Return was at my expense. Kept the other item but didn't wear it until May. First time I wore it, it pilled up and is now unwearable. Not cheap either; almost $40! Unlikely I'll purchase from Zulily again because I can't trust quality, and returns are at customer expense. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Bad Quality Products”

Bought a Jeans after checking the measurements. The measurements does not fit. And on returning they charge the shipping from you and give you only store credit. Bout 2 tops, very low Quality. Also the color was not what was displayed in the picture. The length was not what was mentioned. Not going to Not an e-commerce site, more a like cheaters website. Also had issues in purchasing. My card was not working in their site. Absolute waste of money and time. The color was not shown as below. Tip for consumers:Return only gives store credit . I would rather give it in goodwill. Products used:None . Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“They have a "glitch" in their Computer where merchandise shows up at your door you didn't order”

Just last week I was on the Zulily app. And put stuff in my basket in case I might come back to it, well boxes started arriving at my front door from Zulilly, then more boxes, I went into a panic and called them, she informed me you have 3 Computers about to be shipped out. I immediately looked on the site and saw there were 3 expensive computers another pair of Brooks shoes about to ship out on my account, how could this happen? It has happened to me before, years ago where the Computer ordered me 3 Recliners, it hadn't happened in a few years so I figured Zulily got the " glitch" out of their Computers...obviously not, at the worst case scenario if I passed out and hit a button and I would have had to hit a second button to approve the order so this is not the fault of the Customer, they won't fix their problem at their end, how could I order 3 Computers, 2 pair of Brooks tennis shoes, 1 pair being male, there is no men in the house and 3 fur headbands. Now I'm terrified of putting anything into my Cart again knowing this will happen. I am upset Zulilly will not fix this problem. Do not leave stuff in your Cart, it's a hazard!

“Zulilly”

I ordered a size 8 dress and received what looked like a 16. QVC owns Zulilly but no recourse there. Returns only thru UPS with a special label sent to me in the mail with a coded return adress going who knows where. Cost me $30 to return. Beware. Products used:Nothing

“3 pairs of shoes not a shown”

All three pairs are very poor quality and each shoe came in a plastic bag along with other items in another plastic bag and the bags were torn. Shoes are all flat with creases. The shoes are not made of leather material. Stitching is showing and material is cut poorly on the red shoes. Toe strap is loose. When I walk in the brown and white shoes they will not stay on my feet. The straps are too loose. Both have creases. Again, I show the picture of the shoes on line and then as I received them. Products used:I will throw the shoes away. If I return them they give a store credit and I will not buy anything from them again. Value Shipping Quality

“Waiting a month so far”

I have been waiting over a month for my order so far. Have received 3 notices within a week that it has shipped but no tracking information is available. It doesn't take this long from some of the other overseas companies. Probably won't order from them again. Shipping

“Reviews”

I have never ordered from Zulily. Based on the reviews I've read, I never will. Too many negative reviews. Thanks to all of the people who wrote a review.

“WORST online seller”

Anytime you order it takes a month just to prepare an order. I placed an order over a month ago. Two days later it says "preparing order for shipping"... two weeks later "preparing order for shipping"... a month later it's the same. They refuse to cancel and refund the order. They have offered me a lot of credits that I will never use bc I will never order from them again. Products used:Nothing ... they never ship anything Service Shipping

“Stick To Name Brands”

I have ordered shoe, toys, and a few clothing items from Zulily and have been generally satisfied with quality of the items;however, I only buy items with a name brand I recognize. My only complaint is that both times I have returned something I have had to call customer service to check on my return status.Of the three times I've returned an item, there was only one occasion when the cs rep offered a refund to my original payment method rather than a Zulily credit.

“Order name brands only, shipping is atrocious”

I've purchased quite a few items from Zulily. It's my opinion to only order trusted name brand items. Anything else can't be trusted. Either quality is poor or sizing is for elves! Shipping is absolutely atrocious so don't be in a hurry to receive your item(s). Expect 3-4 weeks. Frustrating!

“18 days to ship”

I ordered a comforter on June 23, it just shipped on July 11. I have called and messaged them. Their response was " there is nothing we can do until it's been 19 days". I couldn't cancel or get a refund until the 19th day hit. It shipped on the 18th day. This was for a birthday that had already passed and I bought another gift for. This will be my last zullily order. Tip for consumers:18 day for an item to even leave the warehouse is ridiculous Products used:Comforter Service Value Shipping

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

Guardio has over a million users, and while it is already affordable for the benefits it provides (just a few dollars a month), it covers up to 5 family members. How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
  3. Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
