zoom.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives zoom.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 88.7. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 88.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to zoom.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning zoom.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between zoom.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of zoom.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of zoom.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. zoom.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether zoom.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether zoom.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, zoom.com.

Non existent customer service. As soon as I find an alternative that will cover a few things that I’m not happy with on GoogleMeet I’m gone.Profit maximization seems to be all they care about.
Really dissapointed that customer service is so bad. Its all good and unnoticable until you actually have to contact support. They cannot provide me with the simplest thing like sending me an invoice, I literally cannot pay for their upgrade because their website is glitchy, and all my recordings will be erased, after hours wasted still no solution. Looking for another company to work with..
Why isn't there something less than one star. We've been a customer of Zoom Communications for more than 4 years, and the support has been dwindling since we started. The only good thing when we started working with Zoom was that they still had personnel in the United States. Now, per Zoom corporate, I have learned that there are no longer any USA personnel working for Zoom Communications. I get that. Working for a company that everyone hates can be stressful. Today I called with hopes of adding a Zoom service for one of our employees. Learned that Zoom would like the sale, however there is no one at the Philippines location than can take the order. My guess is that Zoom is going out of business. So perhaps our best course of action is to bail out before we lose all services to Zoom closing.
Customer service is a joke. To even get a Chatbot, you have to have the enterprise plan (~$40/month) with their basic plan (~$20/month), you don't even get an AI chatbot for support.
Zoom is a predatory company that uses deceptive practices with its pricing and plans. I had a paid Pro subscription and was having technical issues. Free and Pro subscriptions don't get live support, only a useless chat bot, so I upgraded to a Business subscription in order to get live support. On the plans and pricing page it said that the Business subscription is billed at $21.99 a month. That isn't much more than Pro so I upgraded and Zoom billed me $219 monthly. I did eventually get it fixed but what a hassle. All paid users should get live support.
Zoom itself is an okay product but their support is so frustrating to use. I've gone back and forth with them for hours, being sent to different teams where I once again had to re-explain my situation because there was no previous information shared with the new teams. I ended up needing to go as I had other commitments. Then when we resumed via email, I sent appropriate information and they continued the back and forth by asking me for the info again when I'd literally sent it in the previous email. This has gone on for a week. And the issue is so small that it feels huge now because of all the hassle. They aren't being taught to read thoroughly through what customers are saying and make the process of support longer and more frustrating than is needed.
Hello,I was switched to an online business plan on Zoom.us. I'm using it as a platform to give one to one coaching online, and been doing so since 2020, when Covid forced us to work from home. Since then i was using their pro plan, charged 17.99/month. When I reached the full cloud capacity, I was a bit panicked because i'm not at all confortable with computer issues. Recently I had to spend more time with my ill father and forgot to manage my bank accounts. But when Zoom sent a warning email about storage and that I might lose all the videos saved in the cloud, (which is false since it just prevents to record more content), I was directly directed to select a much higher plan including 10 licences charged each 20.99/month, time 10, I then started to be charged 251 euros/month (inc taxes) without being aware I actually switched, except an email that goes to my notification folder. When checking on their website there are plenty of other possibilities before reaching that business plan which is one of the most expensive in their catalogue. I know I validated the purchase operation but why Zoom directs people directly to expensive plans, knowing that some don't speak fluent english to understand the details of the operation or are poorly literate in using computers. Zoom refuses to refund the amount, I think it's outrageous when Zoom Video Communications annual revenue for 2024 is $4.527B, a 3.06% increase from 2023, and annual revenue for 2023 was $4.393B, a 7.15% increase, after 2022 when Zoom annual revenue were $4.1B, a 54.63% increase from 2021. I have been communicating with them since late July but they keep refusing the refund, stating it was confirmed by the buyer. I believe they trick their clients to purchase plans that are their most expensive and take advantage of this marketing technique to receive passive incomes from users not aware and not using their service. Thank you for your time
I wish i would have read reviews before purchase the product , zoom phone was set up by zoom rep and it never worked , kept asking account is inactive. After 10 days checking , they ended up supending my account for no reason. They are scam , they are stealing money from being in INDIA
UPDATE 29 August, 2024:It's now taken over 60 emails and still no support. Zoom like to send you round in circles, passing the button to different teams whilst its customer gets no service support what-so-ever. The pseudo support emails actually amount to a company which doesn't care at all about its customers. It's an horrendous experience. And no-one from Zoom bothers about these reviews, I've not had one reply.ZOOM: Please can someone who understands customer service reply.PREVIOUS POST:As I suspected, no-one bothered to call me either of the two days or times I provided Zoom, even after, I, your client, reminded you of these dates and times for calls? It's taken over 20 emails for Zoom to not bother to support its customer - you make it so difficult to do business.PLEASE CAN SOMEONE TAKE THE INITIATIVE TO ESCALATE THIS MORE THAN HORRENDOUS SERVICE.
I would give minus zero stars if I could. They have a defective product, subpar customer service, lack of accountability, zero integrity and are completely DISHONEST. The CEO hired a bunch of people who sound like drunk third graders and barely speak English. All they do is keep asking you to repeat your account number and say they will" look into your account." They are a JOKE!
they have auto renew set up automatically , and when u cancel , they still charge u and when u dispute it with you credit card , they send all the info to show they tricked you legally , they dont have a way to cancel subscription on the portal , so you get stuck
I recently had the opportunity to work on a 10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) brand campaign, and the experience was far from satisfying. While 10DLC is supposed to streamline communication and improve deliverability for marketing messages, the reality was quite the opposite.First off, the setup process was unnecessarily complex. The documentation was sparse and lacked clarity, making it difficult to understand the requirements and navigate the registration process. This resulted in a lot of wasted time and frustration.Once we got past the setup, the actual performance of the campaign was underwhelming. Delivery rates were inconsistent, and many messages either never reached recipients or were significantly delayed. This is particularly problematic for time-sensitive communications and can severely impact the effectiveness of your campaign.Additionally, customer support was not as helpful as one would hope. When issues arose, responses were slow, and the guidance provided was often generic and unresponsive to the specific problems faced. In terms of cost, the value for money didn’t seem to be there. Given the issues with delivery and the lack of robust support, the investment didn’t yield the returns expected.Overall, the 10DLC brand campaign experience was disappointing. The platform’s potential is overshadowed by its execution flaws and poor customer support. I would recommend exploring other options if you're looking for a reliable and efficient messaging solution
Most frustrating phone service provider. This is just a waste of money with zoom.I purchased phone lines for 5 users and they deactivated it after 2 days....when i reached out to them after 7 days of inactivation to ask for refund,,same day they sent me an email about suspension saying it doesnt follow zoom user policy. My question is why didnt you guys sent me this email right after activation and at the time when I asked for my money back. They have made this a business for themselves by deactivation peoples account and taking their money. It happened with me atleast 3 times.Sont believe on their rating anywhere,,they provide worst of all services.
Today I had Akeel to install my zoom line , o keel was friendly very tidy and polite. He set up the line and showed me how to link to my new fibre band. Would recommend him to any one. S F Northallerton
This company has absolutely NO customer support. I would find an alternative to use for meetings if I were you. I have spent almost 2 hours now troubleshooting not being able to join my meeting as they kept wanting me to download something called “zoom.pkg”. Once downloading, it would not open and needless to say I lost my entire meeting. Went to zoom on the web even and called their customer support # which is a complete joke!!!! No live humans there - completely AI and if you don’t have the info the bot requests you are simply SOL. Kept holding on the phone - had to push 1 for sales and no one answered for tech support - that even took almost 35 minutes to get someone overseas who spoke broken English and could not answer my question and would not give me a manage in the US. She finally put me back in a queue which was right back where I started. Wasted almost 2 hours of my work day. Never again -oh, and they wanted to charge me for a plan - SMH! Caveat Emptor!
Stay away Zoom for a small business, it is a nightmare. It was good until this year and we have cancelled our account. We pay yearly $$ and have had several bugs including no sound. Even our IT guy could not solve the audio. The support is zero and frustrating when you try. Sometimes they ask for $1 and next chat, $5 to get help. Sounds like a scam so we never pay. Now we are out $159 we paid in May! Going to Blink.
Awful none existent customer service - cancelled my recurring meetings and I can only see 1 month ahead!
Please don't upgrade your account as zoom has taken charge of our accounts so I have now 2 users - which zoom created. That means that I THE OWNER don't have a user lisence and can't record or host meetings more than 40 minutes. There's no real people helping us anymore and I am now being forced to find another company/platform to use.I did host 9 meetings a while back -but suddenly zoom made a lot of changes to my subscription and the amount I'm being charged and now I can't even use my own PRO acount nor license.
I am really disappointed with Zoom's service. After signing up, my account was inactivated without any reason just two or three days later. When I contacted customer support, they initially said they were working on resolving the issue. After wasting a whole day, they informed me that the problem was fixed and my account was active again. However, when I checked, my account was still inactive. I submitted another ticket, and this time they said they were unable to reactivate my account and didn't respond adequately. This is how they treat their clients.
Lost Desktop clientAs of 18th June the latest version of Zoom "Desktop Client" does not actually install as a desktop application. This is a major nuisance as the only way to have Zoom easily accessible is to pin the app into the taskbar which takes up space. I know Win 11 has stupidly got rid of the quick launch task bar and you can't put the task bar on the left hand side of the screen so I won't update to Winn 11 any time soon. But as a Win 10 user, I'd like the zoom client back in my quick launch task bar so it isn't running all the time and using resources and is easy to launch when I actually want it.Of course there is Teams and Google Meet but neither are as nice to use as Zoom

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
