zagg.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives zagg.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 84.4. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 84.4 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to zagg.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning zagg.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between zagg.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of zagg.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of zagg.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. zagg.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether zagg.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether zagg.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, zagg.com.

I visited the American Dream Mall on Monday, 9/9, to replace a broken iPhone screen protector. The company gave the impression that by paying $60 upfront, future screen replacements would be free. The screen protector cracked a month later, but since my daughter attends school out of state, I waited until she returned to get it replaced. When we finally went back 6 months later, they wanted to charge an additional $12. I was very upset because they initially misled us. Paying $60 upfront for a thin screen protector is not worth it—it felt like a complete rip-off. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB and will also contact American Dream Mall about this unethical practice.
I was told for $50 I'd get free replacement and shipping. They want $10 for shipping. My cover didn't last 3 months. Such a rip off.
Terrible customer service!!! Order not shipped after 5 days! No way to contact them. No way to cancel order. Do not recommend!
Spent £20 on the invisible shield which was supposed to be for samsung s24 ultra but was completely wrong size/shape. It was also supposed to have the privacy shield but that is non existent. This was being sold in a well-known, usually reputable retailer so I'm surprised but definitely won't be buying this brand again.Thank you for the response and, as I just realised I paid £39.99 for this I most certainly will be contacting both zagg and the retailer selling these.
The worst customer service i experienced.I am located in the UK, order a replacement as part of my warranty and no post office will take in the return. I’ve been trying to contact them in every possible way No humans seem to be working for this company. The virtual assistant is completely useless and I’m gonna end up being charged for an item I cannot return to them.. absolute joke
this company is a joke. If you can't find it in FAQ, throw it away. yeah, $129, staffed by impetuous, arrogant and entitled punks.Update; finally reached a live person Friday before Labor Day and she asked me to look at Settings to connect kboard to ipad, it wouldn't connect- TA DA SHE SAID OK AND HUNG UP. BURN YOUR MONEY BEFORE BUYING ZAGG.
I bought a Mophie Power Bank which didn't keep its charge and has recently burst out of its casing and I consider it to be very dangerous. All attempts to contact ZAGG have failed - "they are not offering telephone support at this time" I have photographed the unit and sent it to the local trading standards./ Hopefully this scam outfit can be dealt with. Most unhappy
I have a iPhone 15 pro and purchased the privacy screen protector on their website. I have gotten one replacement and since then the website always says the item is out of stock. I signed up to be emailed months ago when the item was back in stock and yet I have never been emailed. Even better, when you go to purchase a new iPhone 15 Screen protector of the exact same type it is suddenly available to be purchased. On top of all that the screen protectors break easier than any I have ever had in the past as I and multiple friends, have taken my phone out of my pocket to find a broken screen after nothing has been done to it. Overall the only way that this screen protector is worth it is if you buy it through another company like Best Buy, otherwise they scam you like crazy.
I purchased a Mophie product from Zagg, expecting a high-quality item given the premium price and its presence in Apple stores. Unfortunately, this product failed to perform the one job it was meant to do and stopped working soon after purchase. My experience with their customer support has been a nightmare ever since.Over a year later, I am still going back and forth with their support team. They consistently fail to read emails properly, replies are delayed without apology, and they show little to no urgency in resolving the issue. Despite their product being faulty, they make you pay an inflated shipping fee to return it, and then force you to pay for them to send you the replacement. The lack of accountability and empathy from their helpdesk is infuriating.I will never buy from Zagg again. Their products are overpriced and faulty, and their customer service is some of the worst I’ve experienced. Save your time, money, and frustration - look elsewhere for reliable products and support.
Have been buying their iPhone/IPad shields for years. when I log into my account it only shows the last two purchases and for my current registered product it indicates "Unavailable For Replacement" ?? Uh what happened to LIFETIME WARRANTY? Been on hold for 27 minutes. No other way to contact. I'm going to try BodyGuardz or RhinoShield
I have a Mophie power bank I bought from zagg.com two years ago. It would always discharge by itself within a few weeks but worked OK if fully charged and used within a few days. Now I go to use it after a couple weeks, the power bank is dead and the case is bulging! A bulging lithium battery is dangerous! This company is impossible to contact by phone or email or live chat. It is completely impossible to communicate with them in any way. AVOID ZAGG and its subsidiary brands! Totally unethical business!
After installing part of the screen doesn’t stick down at all
Company is awful. Warranty is a scam. I submitted a claim for replacement and have been waiting for 10 days. UPS says they never received the item from Zagg. Just called Zagg, they are out of stock and cannot advise when the item will be restocked. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! The positive reviews on this site are FAKE!
expensive screen protector that came with a warranty so I was happy to pay the price. Less than 6 months and the screen protector has cracked and despite having the warranty they want £8 postage for a replacement, £10 if you want it next day! Disappointing promoting a free replacement when the they charge extortionate postage to put people off. Postage alone is the cost of a screen protector itself .
Stay away. I’ve purchased ZAGG for years. recently there product is of poor quality the warranty and customer service availability is zero for replacement I have waited weeks with no replacement in sight and no update they often do not have a replacement. Therefore, they offer you a lesser product or try to get you to pay more money, as the replacement. If you select notify me in the warranty process, they still don’t have the exact replacement when getting notified. don't waste your money. the warranty is not worth the hassle
Scam. AT&T talked me into a screen protector for $40 when I purchased my new phone. I’m not hard on my phones at all. The cover lasted less than a month and then the store wanted $12 to replace it. The second one ended up breaking in less than a month. Switch back to my $6 for 3 screen protectors on Amazon and my first one is outlasting the Zagg by far. The product is garbage and the lifetime warranty is a joke.
Excellent company. Replacement screen protector sent to me. Friendly, professional and helpful staff. I will only purchase Zagg screen protectors for my phone, they’re the best
I have used these for years, but I noticed that the screens they are currently selling are completely different and crack within a week or two without dropping. I replaced my screen 3 times before I complained, then they upsold me on another screen that cracked right away. I used to tell everybody about Zagg, now I tell everyone NOT to waste your money. It’s cheaper to get the insurance on your phone.
We spent a hefty amount to pay for the Glass XTR3 screen protector. The thing cracked 3 weeks later and we have been waiting for this item to come back in inventory. It has been 2 months and still no sign.Getting someone to help has been nearly impossible. The chatbot sucks, no live agent available and if you call, forget about it. The customer service availability of this company is worst than the DMV.I wished I had seen all these review before I actually purchased from this brand. Never again!8/7: Update to this terrible company's practices. Thanks to another user's post, I was able to locate the email for Support. Through my communication with the Support agent, she informed me that the screen protector that I am looking to replace is indeed in stock, but it's only available for new purchases and not for replacement requests. Essentially, ZAGG will sell you a higher priced item, but if you want a like for like replacement, this is not possible, unless you want to replace your product with a lower end item. How unethical is this?
Spent £30 on a protective screen. HAS NOT EVEN WORKED. Brand new phone now cracked.Absolutely rubbish!!!!Zero customer care skills. Still awaiting for a response.

“Terrible customer service”
If it can't be done on the website, don't call. The wait times are long and the reps are rude. I have had a problem every time I've ordered a replacement with out-of-stock issues. Also, the shipping dates are never accurate. I paid extra for a 2-3 business day shipment that on the 5th day had not yet arrived. The rep told me I missed the fine print on the checkout page, not the shipping page, that said it was from the time they shipped. It took them four days to ship. The rep truly didn't care that I relied on that and with not time left to go shopping, had to head out to a remote location with a shattered screen. No refund, sorry chump. Read the fine print. Terrible company culture. Tip for consumers:I wish I had read this site. The customer service is among the worst. They are always out of stock. And shipping times are not honestly published on the page where you select them. Products used:Screen saver Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Apple iPad Pro 11" InvisibleShield Glass Elite VisionGuard+”
I purchased this shield from ZAGG. I live in Hawaii…unfortunately buying from ZAGG was a huge mistake. My order date 5/24/24…the supposed delivery date 6/24/24. If I bought something like this from China I would get it shipped faster than ZAGG has. I would not buy these kinds of products from ZAGG. Products used:Apple iPad Service Value Shipping
“Dishonest Company”
It is not a "Free Repalcement". And it does not ship in 1-3 business days. I ordered this replacement on April 2,2024 and it is April 24,2024 and I still have not received it. Shame on Verizon for pormoting this company and its product then "washing their hands of it when there is a problem. Tip for consumers:Their warranty is a SCAM Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Scam of a Company”
I bought a $60 screen protector for a brand new iphone and it broken within a WEEK of purchasing it. When I reached out for my "free" replacement, they told me I'd have to pay $10 for shipping. I've sent 5 lb packages for $10 before, there is no way they can't send it in a padded envelope for near next to nothing cost. Not to mention the product does not cost $60 to make so you would think free shipping would be an option. Customer service could care less and was incredibly unhelpful. I'll make sure no one I know purchases from these people. I bought a three pack of screen protectors off of Amazon for $7. It has been on my phone for over a month now with no issues. What an absolute joke this company is. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“The worse case and screen protector I have ever had!”
I bought a screen protector supposed to be glass, within the second that it was on it started to peel, and I am not rough with phones. It is garbage 0/10 I would not recommend. I also bought 2 cases at 50$ I figured it would be as good as otter box. Nope I accidently dropped it not even 3 feet and the case is cracked, the quality of the plastic sucks it's as brittle as a light bulb, anytime it gets bumped or accidently bumped it cracks, there are scratches in the protector and the screen protector was 60$ I'm so disappointed in all of the products from this company. I wouldn't recommend at all whatsoever! Do not purchase take it from me go with otter box if you want to have quality products! Products used:Phone case, screen protector Service Shipping Returns
“XTR2 glass shield”
I purchased XTR2 glass.for $59.99 + tax, for iPhone 13 pro max., now shield is coming out from the phone (Phone is always kept in case). It is not even an year of purchase. Vendor told me that life time warranty and replacement is free. Now they are asking $9.99 for shipping and handling. Tip for consumers:bad quality product with huge price tag - Products used:XTR2 Shield Glass Service Value Shipping
“Don't buy anything from Zagg”
Screen protector cracked in less than a week, you have to pay $12 for shipping with their "lifetime warranty" for a new product you've just already spent $60. Feels criminal to me - they're stealing your money for crap quality products. Tip for consumers:I repeat, buy from a different company for your own sake Products used:screen protector Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! RIP OFF! SCAM COMPANY!”
I bought a brand new phone and the invisible shield screen protector at my local phone carrier's store. I had issues with the protector shortly after my purchase. Zagg promised a lifetime warranty. I'd been in contact with them for months trying to get a proper replacement. They sent me some really flimsy plastic. Nothing like I originally purchased. First, they told me that they were out of stock. Then after months of terrible customer service and communication, they told me that they no longer carried the product for my phone because it wasn't popular. Now, I'm out 40+ bucks and no screen protector. They refused to give me a refund since I didn't buy it directly from them, but an AUTHORIZED carrier. Products used:Screen protector Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Worst screen protector and customer service ever experienced in my entire life!”
I ordered a Zagg pixel pro 8 invisible shield screen protector through verizon when I purchased phone. It cracked after not even 2 months and It has been over a month since I registered product and still no sign of even getting a replacement. Don't waste your time and money on Zagg. Just go to Amazon and order a different brand for about $10 for a pack of 3. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Poor warranty.”
Bought it for my iPhone 15 pro max. Chipped in three months, asked for a replacement and being told they're out of stock. However, they're in stock if I try to buy a new one. They're a bunch of crooked scammers. Cant believe ATT&T got me in this. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Products used:Screen protector Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Fraud company”
Paid 50 dollars for lifetime screensaver. Company makes it impossible to get new one. I'm going to retailer and demand refund. Do not buy this product
“Bought my Zagg for my wife's IPad Air 4,”
Bought my Zagg for my wife's IPad Air 4,18 months ago from BestBuy. My wife uses it very little and isn't overly computer literate. She can't use it now because the charging port is non functional and she can't charge it. Reached out to Zagg and only communication is via internet and responses from Zagg are total A.I. Responses. No other form of communication available. Since warranty is only one year and no extended warranty ended up purchasing a Logitech. PS. BestBuy was of no help either. Products used:Zagg keypad for iPad 4 Service Value Quality
“Konked out early”
Repeats keys, doesn't post letters when tapped, have tried everything. Rebounded into functioning properly after all adjustments to settings and suggestions from internet made. Lasted almost 2 years. Bye bye keyboard
“Prompt Refund!”
Received a previously opened package with a missing part. I returned the product outside the return window, bc it was a Christmas gift. I returned it right and got a full refund. They earned my trust.
“Almost a scam business”
So I got sucked in; I want to protect my £1050 IPhone 13 Pro and it appeared that Zagg has a European distribution channel. It doesn't. Instead they expect you to wait three weeks with no tracking for the most expensive screen protector on the market. Which hasn't arrived almost two weeks later. I don't care if it washes my dishes and home schools my kids; this kind of service is absolutely useless. Avoid. Then avoid some more. Update 5th May 2022 - the screen saver has cracked in two places with no known impact. Customer services is proving near impossible to contact. And you have to pay a lot to get a warranty replacement. This purchase is haunting me... Tip for consumers:Avoid at all costs Products used:Waiting for a screen protector Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Screen protector cracked the 1st week”
I purchased a new iPhone 14 at the Verizon store. The salesperson there told me the ZAGG Invisible Shield screen protector was a highly reputable product and that everyone loved these screen protectors for $47.99. I should have looked online first instead of believing her, because my screen cracked after having it for one week! I see now online that this company barely has 2 stars. If you want the replacement screen, which I really don't, it's another $10 for this mediocre product. I do not recommend you trust your phone's protection to this company/product.
“Thives”
25£ for a normal screen protector that you can find in every phone shop four time less the price. I thought I would have protector forever or at least a phone life "4 years"... after one month was already broken very easily. I went to claim the warranty and the ask me pay 11£ for delivery when buying something from the website delivery is totally free. Service Value Shipping Quality
“Failed after 3 months - poor warranty outside US”
Powerstation products outside the US must be returned at the customers cost and you also pay the shipping on the replacement unit. This is crazy especially given the unit I purchased failed after only 3 months. Will cost me 50% to replace! I have registered complaint - will update if they take any positive action.
“Terrible customer service”
I had to get a replacement glass for my phone It took almost 1 hour on hold because the website was updated and they wiped out my information. Finally got through to someone and ordered my replacement they took the money but NEVER received my new glass so I wasted another 1/2 a day trying to get through to zagg again Tip for consumers:never again will i buy a zagg product Products used:glass protector Service Value Shipping Quality
“Poor Quality. Buy something else.”
Don't waste your time on this screen protector. It's poor quality and peels away. On top of that, they expect you to pay for shipping to send it back to get your money back when they know their screen protectors suck. I would understand paying shipping if I straight up just didn't like it, but it's not worth a fraction of what they charge or the shipping. The cloth that came with it left more lint/dust after cleaning it a few times. The screen protector itself now has dents all in it from something simply rubbing against it. Don't waste your time or money.
“Excellent”
The customer service is excellent, staff are friendly and attentive to solve any issues regarding service and customer support. It takes 5 minutes to solve an issue. We need companies like Zagg. They offer great products and professional general support I'm amazed, and I'm very happy with my purchase of the "Zagg Rugged Pro Connect Apple IPad 10.2 " Durable, easy to connect, ideal for use in medical offices and studies. Love it. Tip for consumers:Above and beyond customer service. Win -win Products used:Keyboard folio , iPhone screen protector. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Avoid, scam company.”
Would be less than 1 if I could. Cases break within 2 weeks. I am on my 4th case now. The last one worked for 2 weeks then fell apart. Yes they protect the phone so well but the look of the case just gets so ugly when the outer protector breaks and falls apart. The customer services is even worse as you have to pay 7.99€ for a replacement even though the case falls so short. Never ever buy. A complete scam and a waste of money. Horrible company who don't look after their customers and just take your money. The customer service offer you a €10 Credit and 30% off your next buy but can't even help you when the case falls apart after 2 weeks. It's a joke, never ever ever buy there products. The photos below are from a new replacement case that has been used for only 3 days. The quality is a joke.
“ZAGG SUCKS!”
I have wasted more money in the free warranty replacement, e.g., $10 shipping on replacements for this zag iPhone screen protector than I ever have in my life. It's a scam. It doesn't work. Videos seems simple but it doesn't work. Do not use Zagg
“Fantastic Company”
I order from them frequently for personal use. We use them often and even hand them out as needed. I have never had a late package, or an incorrect order. I've also never had a defective item. The picture is part of my most recent order. I love that they have frequent discounts with a website that is easy to navigate and filter through. I would highly recommend. Products used:Everything I ordered. My most recent order had a few powercubes, mini mophies, and a multiplug mophie. Service Value Shipping Quality
“Zagg Great Customer Service”
I recently purchased a Zagg IPAD keyboard case on Amazon. I was shocked at the low price and was satisfied with the product. Unfortunately it began to malfunction making it unusable. I contacted the company for a warranty replacement. I replaced the product at no charge and received the replacement within a few days. However, I had made a mistake in specifying the replacement and the new one was incompatible with my IPAD. I contacted Zagg again and they replaced that unit with the correct one at no cost and gave me a credit for the postage I had paid. The customer service representative I worked with was fantastic. Helpful and proactive. I will definitely purchase more products from Zagg. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
