youtube.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives youtube.com the absolute highest trust score on the platform: 100. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Safe. Secure. . We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this very high score? We came up with the 100 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to youtube.com's industry. The algorithm detected no high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Safe. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we label this website as secure and trustworthy. We explain this in more detail below.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning youtube.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between youtube.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of youtube.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of youtube.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. youtube.com is a secure website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether youtube.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether youtube.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, youtube.com.

YouTube is great for all situations until you get addicted to shorts lolI've used it for years nowanyone who has problems with buffering then its most probably your Wi-Fi or people saying that its not like it was and its now a celebrity slobfest. That is 100% false I feel like once you get a viewer base you will get hate and the people who thinks everyone is a celeb or something I don't want to advertise my channel although I have a decent viewer base with 1k subscribers and my channel has 400k views so I've had lots of hate and people like me we are considered small channels and not celebs
Just get rid of this service it's getting old and forgotten. Nobody cares about this platform anymore. It's not the small website made my small creators anymore. It's a corporate slob fest that tries to appeal to companies and celebrities as much as possibly. All the content feels like your brains being force fed gone off moldy mush. And you can barely find content you actually want anymore. And the algorithm is terrible. Dying platform that will eventually be replaced if it doesn't do something useful.
My biggest problem is that I get unsubscribed from everyone that I follow. I won't see someone making a new video for months, go look them up, find out that they were posting content, Youtube just unsubbed me.And what I've noticed is that this generally happens when their competition comes up in my feed. It makes me wonder of they are are doing it to prop some creators up and take down others
I'm getting tired of youtube. To much advertising, compared to two years ago. To much clickbait and fake thumbnails videos. To much censorship, so content creators have to talk between the lines, to risk getting de platformed.I see youtube will risk in a few years time, ending up as a insignificant platform, that no one uses, unless they change directions. Bye bye Youtube
I have not been able to watch any videos on the free youtube at all today and this has been reported to youtube for two months now. Continuous buffering throughout the videos where I can't even watch them. I have cable internet and I have no other devices connected but my roku and television. I tried restarting roku but, that doesn't help either. It's only the youtube streaming channel that does this. The others don't. Two months of constantly sending feedback about this and they still haven't fixed it. Only happens with youtube.
Only pro of youtube, is that thaere is a lot och channels - they are rich, and promoted for years. But now they are agressively promoting far leftist ideology, and removing more good channels since about two years. So it is not so easy to find interesting content now, as it was two years ago. Also there is more and more advertisment, and videos are playing slower and slower. I am about to stop to use it at all.
Worst ever. They removed my comment that said: Congrats Spain from a Syrian supporter after them winning the Eu championship and they say it is dew to violations!!. At the same time they leave racist comments affecting arabs, black people, minorities and Christian hating comments. Shame on you youtube.
I mean I don't really have a complaint because I always am on here watching youtubers I really like I just hate 2 minute ads and YouTube shorts is a whole other devil loll
Full of adverts. Monetisation is clearly the only thing they care about. User experience has not been prioritised. Don't be surprised if a newer, better and free service pops up as a rival in the next few years.
A.i made videos flood whole site using trusted creators like miniatures and disinformation in them is horrid, i'm talking about animal or historical videos with like 1k views that show up on for you page.
I'm generally very happy with the service YouTube provides, however, I don't think their algorithm is working very well. I'm a 70 year old man and I am being bombarded with ads for Tampax and kitchen cleaning spray. I'm very sure I'm not the target audience the advertisers had in mind for these products.
Used to be good. Many, many years ago. Now it is full of scam ads, aggressive marketing, promoting useless and harmful content. Awful.
YouTube has really changed DRASTICLY over the years. I am a content creator, so I know what I'm talking about. What used to be a great place to allow people to share their passions and gain communities has slowly devolved into the feeling of a guildness industry. Sometimes, moderation may well be one big problem. Users often get frustrated whenever your content (especially comments) are getting flagged down or removed for no apparent reason. The automated systems which are supposed to protect intellectual property, overreach and flag content clearly within fair use. Not only does it hurt your visibility, but sometimes it may make you question whether the work truly belongs to you. At most times you are getting down in your passions, as someone takes your content on his advantage. Even worse, SCAM PROFILES are getting verified! Verification should be a sign of a trusted channel, but as it seems, YouTube doesn't care about safety and trust. Verification is getting over used significantly. I'm not surprised Elon Musk discontinued verifications on Twitter. Furthermore, I recommend only TikTok. YouTube is awful these days.
Horrific content pops up unsolicited in ‘shorts’.Yesterday scrolling through I was subjected to an horrific compilation which included poor Tommy Cooper dying on stage and a father falling to his death at a baseball game.I reported it, foolishly thinking they would remove this nightmare inducing content, only to see 24 hours later they haven’t even reviewed it. Valued at 400 billion dollars they can afford a few more people to keep content appropriate.Very disappointed.
Google was a CIA funded startup designed to collect data on American citizens for psyops. YouTube is one tool of many in their arsenal. Everything under the Google umbrella is a tool of the deep state, with the deep state being Israel, to enslave and weaken Americans and our way of life. All of these Google mechanisms employ algo's to de-platform truth tellers about COVID, the government, Israel, or anything they don't want people to know, understand, or discuss, but will delete or replace speech with rhetoric, propaganda, and blatant lies.Don't pay for YouTube and don't let them profit from advertising. Use Rumble instead. Google is an evil company. Which is why they removed "Don't be evil" from their mission statement. Any pushback on this review is just another attempt by YouTube and the deep state to silence Americans speaking out against this evil.
Worst App ever push adds very much frequent, and push unwanted ads even if u reported hundreds of time never care about customer opinions, wish there is a more fair app than this monopoly app
YouTube became big thanks to its users because it was a free platform. But now 15 years later, its users are being punished by force to watch adds or pay to avoid these adds..... Very ridiculous. At least they could remove the adds for all accounts that are in since its existence. And also for channels that actually create content.... Why do i have to watch adds on my own videos?????? Today i booted up my switch since a long time.. i wanted to watch some YouTube on it... And am confronted with adds that are 40 seconds long and unskippable. My account has over 50 videos . YouTube is earning money from it already.... yet i need to pay to remove adds. This is why i give a 1 star.
Customer service doesn't exist. The algorithm for good shows or music related to you is dead. Still haven't banned inappropriate content accounts. 100% anyone want to make a new site with me that WONT be a disappointment? ❤️
Ever since Google bought this site this site has:-Paywalled downloading videos-Made browsers that are NOT Chrome screw up-Removed the dislike button-And has removed the "Block user" featureFck this site and Fck the jack&sses that run it.Everything great about this site is GONE.
I especially enjoy offline viewing of my saved YouTube videos. Hopefully they'll last at least a week off internet connection. Otherwise, YouTube has always been an amazing platform.

AFTER YEARS HAVING A CHANNEL MAINLY STUDY AND WATCH MOVIES (OF WHICH I BOUGHT OVER THIRTY AND FULLY PAID YOUTUBE TO ACCESS IT AT ALL TIMES) I HAVE BEEN NOW TOLD THAT MY CHANNEL WAS TAKEN DOWN FOR SPAMS OR POSSIBLE FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY! I HAVE NEVER EVEN UPLOADED ONE VIDEO OVER THE YEARS DUE TO THEIR EXPLICITLY RACIST ALGORITHM PRIORITISING ONLY WHITE UPLOADERS. I HAE BEEN ASKING A REFUND FOR ALL THE MOVIES BOUGHT FOR DAYS, AND SOUGHT AN EXPLANATION AS WELL AS A CLEAR EXAMPLE OF WHAT CAUSED THE CHANNEL TO BE TAKEN DOWN. I HAVE TAGGED ON TWITTER AS OTHER PEOPLE WHO WENT THOUGH SOMETHING SIMILAR SUGGESTED ON YT. YET, THE ONLY RESPONSES I GOT WERE FROM AN AI, THEN A COUPLE OF POSSIBLE HUMANS THAT ACTED WORSE THAN AN AI AND SIMPLY AVOIDED EVEN ADDRESSING MY REQUESTS ABOUT A REFUND AND NEVER PROVIDED AN EXPLANATION. I've been paying for you to premium for several years I'm a contract creator for more than a year I have 1900 more than 1900 subscribers 3 days ago yesterday I go and look and they got me down to 1100 after getting into with those Nigerian scammers down in the comments so I guess they have Nigerians working for the company they don't like somebody talking about the Nigerian scammers! “Youtubes inability to not recommend vidoes that users have already watched”

I have to assume that youtube is a very poor company and cant afford basic algorithms or code to fix something so simple as.if this video has been watched by user, then do not recommend...i know soooo complicated to add a line of code or an algorithm so basic. This has been an ongoing problem for years with this platform, and like i said youtube must be too broke to implement such a basic customer service as dont recommend already watched videos. Youtube needs to learn to be better to its customers because recommending thousands, at least, a day of already watched videos to its customers is beyond ridiculous as a customer. I know if i was a part of this company i would think...hmmm in order to get consumers to spend more time in videos seeing ads and whatever else makes the company money, maybe we should stop recommending videos that have already been watched. If we do that theyll spend less time marking in-numerous videos for do not recommend ive already watched it and spend more time actually watching videos, ads, etc. In short this has been an issue for users for YEARS and youtube clearly has no concern for making their platform the best it could be for users and clearly just want to drain their customers of as much as they can. If that werent the case they would have listened to their customers at this point to improve something so simple. Its a disgrace that theyre completely ok with making things harder and extremely annoying for their customers. Tip for consumers:If youtube wanted the best for its users this would never had been an issue, they have the money and means to fix this quite easily but dont/wont Products used:i use the youtube premium subscription Service Value Quality

Whether I'm looking for a quick laugh, learning a new skill, or discovering new music, YouTube never fails to deliver. “Post quarantine, quality and content steadily dropped”

It's probably not YouTube's fault. During the pandemic, it was *the* channel to watch. Now, people just aren't making the vids anymore...they, too, have "real" lives to get back to. Sadly, it's now filled with ads that don't appear to be targeted to any specific audience. Being a "woman of a certain age", YouTube is trying to sell me hot girls, "cheap" (!) vacation packages, vehicles, processed meat, and news, news, news. Being addicted to it, I confess I check daily to see if there's One New Thing I'm interested in viewing, but I usually go away disappointed. “Good”

Its a pretty good video sharing source but some videos have inappropriate things or words. But overall i'd download.

“Adverts spoil video entertainment”

YouTube has gone right down the toilet ever since they introduced the 'anti-adblocking' system on their servers. Now that Google run YT they seem to have an issue regarding those who block adverts for revenue. The most annoying thing about it, is that these intusive ads are interuppting the video that you are watching. It is ok to have ads - but only if they put them at the start and end of a video. Putting ads in between videos is quite abrupt and ill mannered. It seems that the man at the top has no manners whatsoever and doesn't seem to listen to reason. It takes good manners to be the CEO of a large company. This Neal Mohan has none whatsoever and SHOULDN'T have any rights to be where he is! Tip for consumers:none Products used:none

“YouTube is an amazing website”

This website has brought me from a stupid little boy to an influencer. I owe almost everything I have today to this website. YouTube is my go-to platform for video content. Whether I'm looking for educational tutorials, entertaining vlogs, or music videos, YouTube has it all. The user-friendly interface and personalized recommendations make it easy to discover new content. “Terrible”

“Neglecting consumers”

Inadequate service; views are improperly counted & deleted, irrespective of its policy. Corrupt management of view count. Even the new BTS music video (artists who only seem to get their views deleted), while others have views added, had people questioning youtube's competence.

“Stifles Respectful Free Speech, Is Manipulative, Steals Advertising Revenue”

I witness YouTube abusing content generators by manipulating their algorithms so viewers don't ever see their videos without searching for it, and even then YouTube will often put their video further down the search results- making it harder to view. Youtube very often takes content generators' advertising revenue- stealing it for themselves. Often YouTube pretends they (often popular comedians) said or did something extremely egregious (not true by any stretch of the imagination) to deserve their ad revenue being confiscated. Lines do exist between healthy criticism of an institution or culture (which are instrumental to a healthy society) and racism or other destructive behaviors. I observe YouTube knowing that difference, but choosing to remove that differentiation to wield a oppressive amount of control over both content providers and viewers and the viewers' ability to find videos and comment on them. Tip for consumers:I hope an free and fair alternative to YouTube is soon released by Elon Musk.

“Youtube has become garbage”

Too many advertisements in front of the videos in recent weeks. Additionally, I'm tired of this platform blurring out sections of a video like a war documentary. Its history. STOP BLURRING IT OUT. I wish creators would start switching to Rumble. They have 1080p videos now and no blurring, very little censorship. Youtube has become trash. Service

“DIsappointed, sorry”

I am... disappointed a bit, because once when i wanted to run my own blog in YT, they imposed ones of limitations on published content. That was the most disappointing thing, they either don't allow my video to get into recommendations section, or they just turn off monetization. Overall, this platform is good for getting fame, look at guys like Mr.Beast or others. Nevertheless, there are many disadvantage which don't allow me to reveal my potential as a blogger. Perhaps, I will get along with them but not in the nearest future. So far I wrapped up my activity as a blogger, as number of subscribers and watches fell twice.

“Nose dive”

I have been buying their talks for YEARS and the quality has gone down the drain. You can tell by the labels being different in the exact same pair of pants. Even made out of different materials now. Customers service is atrocious. 45 min on hold several times. Never a call back. Do not buy here

“They have everything!”

Wanna watch someone play a game? They've got that. Funny cat video or cute puppy clips? Yup, that's there. Tutorial on how to fix your truck? Yep again. Gross pimple popping? Oh yeah. Inspirational video? You're covered. Youtube has anything you could think of... and some things you didn't.

“A once great platform for creativity, turned greedy corporate giant”

1) Constant bombardment of random ads and No One bothers to check what they advertise. Porn ads on a cartoon video? Sure why not. 2) Thousands of youtube channels who repeatedly beg their young audience to go buy something. 3) The website would rather promote music videos and political propaganda from official networks rather than wholesome creative videos. 4) And the worst recent change so far... Censorship of video rating. Want to know if the video you are watching is legitimate or good? Maybe it's a scam, maybe it's propaganda, maybe it entices violence and hate speech. Well too bad, you have no choice but to watch the video since YouTube disabled user rating via the Dislike button. 5) If you're a creator on the website you have to constantly deal with false copyright claims, bad algorithm and Police Bots that will falsely flag your videos. Tip for consumers:Just stay clear of the recommended videos and if you plan on making this website your career... don't. Service Quality

“Bts and army deserve better”

Stop deleting views, simple. How would you like all your hard work simply disappear? And lie about it right to our faces. Y'all ain't slick, we can still see views going down from 'On' and other MV's. Truly Disgusting. So please give us our 98 million views back. I promise, you will regret ever messing with ARMY.

“Trash”

YouTube's advertisement bombardment has reached an intolerable level on the iOS app, interrupting content with annoying ads every 30 seconds. The excessive frequency of these interruptions disrupts the viewing experience and feels like an incessant assault on user patience. Furthermore, the heavy-handed moderation policies have stifled free expression in the comment section. Attempting to voice controversial opinions is now an exercise in futility, thanks to overzealous moderators acting as self-appointed white knights. This restrictive atmosphere detracts from the platform's once vibrant and diverse community engagement, leaving users feeling stifled and frustrated. YouTube needs to strike a better balance between ad revenue and user satisfaction, as well as reconsider its moderation approach to foster a more open and inclusive online dialogue. 2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
  3. Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  4. Check this: They hide your online searches, which means you will get only organic search results without tracking and follow-up ads. For example, when you search for a flight, and the next time you look at the same search, the prices are higher. With Surfshark, this doesn't happen.

For the Black Friday promotion, Surfshark offers 86% off + up to 5 months free to Scam Detector readers. You can get the deal only this week HERE or by clicking the button below. stop third parties to track my device button

Are You the Owner of youtube.com?

If you own youtube.com, we would love to hear from you. However, if you would like to challenge this review and trust score, we are more than willing to take a deeper look, but be prepared to offer solid proof of your business. Please introduce yourself first (your name, not "Admin"). Consumers are smart. Typically, they don't trust websites that don't show transparency, such as the location of the business, team, or any other physical existence. When domain owners contact us to challenge the trust score of their website on our website Validator, we would kindly ask them to share some of the following things: * Details from their ecosystem that would show that they are 100% trustworthy (certificate of incorporation, business registration, official records showing the name of the website or business, etc.). * Their personal profile on LinkedIn and social media accounts for the business on Facebook. * If possible, some screenshots/proof of satisfied clients (not testimonials on their website), proof of inventory, canceling orders when requested, etc.). We are more than willing to update the review right away—the more proof you show, the higher the trust score will be.
