xiaomi.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives xiaomi.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 82. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Reliable. Legitimate. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 82 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to xiaomi.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Reliable. Legitimate. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a reliable and secure website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning xiaomi.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between xiaomi.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of xiaomi.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of xiaomi.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. xiaomi.com is an innocuous website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether xiaomi.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether xiaomi.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, xiaomi.com.

I have many Mi products, Xiaomi Pad, Mi TV, air fryer… Price is good, but customer service is not... It's hard to find the right person to deal with quality issue...
Xiaomi products are excellent, extremely well made and I would have no hesitation in recommending them as long as you don't want any customer service.Xiaomi used to have an excellent customer service team, but this has changed and they actively ignore or defer issues. They now have a cut and paste response I'm sure many people have seen, 'we are sorry to inform you that we are unable to proceed with further assistance' and this is their go away notice. This is completely unacceptable, we have rights as customers and they are being flagrantly ignored. This is such a shame considering the quality of their products
I am extremely disappointed with Xiaomi's customer service. I returned my products, which they have confirmed receiving, but they have yet to issue my refund. Despite calling them three times, I was given a different excuse each time. I am now forced to escalate the matter through my credit card company. Xiaomi clearly does not honor their returns policy. I strongly advise against buying Xiaomi products.
Ordered Mi Powerbank 20000 mah, and they dispatched a damaged piece which hasn't worked since first week.I was out of city due to a death in family, and now when I complained they say i should have reached earlier, and now i will have to reach their service center to get it repaired as no exchange/refund possible.Order #MI231346 My advice DON'T BUY!
I bought xiaomi band 8 and buds 5 pro, for band after use of 6 months battery doesn't last more than 2 days with minimal use and buds are 3 months old and battery lasts 5-6 hours when full charged. I was a fan of Xiaomi not anymore
moved my files to hidden album, only to realize there is a glitch where i dont have a hidden album even though i created one, so the files just disappeared, after a quick google search i can see this is a common issue and has been known for years. fu this pos company
Bought a pad from the official site. Still waiting on the product to be delivered. No communication whatsoever about the process and how it's being handeld. Their only excuse is that there is a shortage. How can a big coperation release a product with such poor preperation, I have no idea.
What a horrible experience I had Xiaomi Cape Town store. To put it mildly I was more in shock than anger. The sales person was sooooo bad that I embarrassed myself and actually allowed emotion to take over. I had contacted Xiaomi in South Africa. All I received was pacifying emails to tell me that the incident was being looked into. One Working week and still nothing. I will keep highlighting that the attitude of the staff clearly shows the complacency of the Core Management team.
I should of known better!!!! I purchased Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G from Xiaomi in February. When received. The Sim card slot was evidently broken. This phone is very flimsy. Contacted customer Support. What an experience. Six telephone calls with no resolvement in sight. It's a shambles. They can't even manage to send out a return package. All I have received are four emails stating "We apologize for the inconvenience that you are having with your device right now. Rest assured that we'll assist you with this"I've asked for this issue to be escalated. How can it take this long to arranged for a return package to be sent. They were able to send my phone in 2 working days when purchased! To be honest the rate your experience doesn't justify one star. Trust Pilot you need to review your rate to capture where customer can rate unsatisfied
Bought a watch and 2 phones directly from website, phones were ok watch would not charge due to fault only one access pin visible at the rear ,sent back only for countless emails saying not covered by warranty, disgusting way to run a company,no addmittance of a problem they were responsible for.
I bought redmi buds 4 active from this shocking company.Firstly they were delivered not to my address, but elsewhere and I wasn’t informed. I had to make enquiries.Secondly, the ear buds don’t work properly and the left doesn’t even charge.Tried contacting this joke of a company and not a single email reply.Had to raise a PayPal complaint. Please beware fake goods! They’ll take your money but won’t answer you if there’s an issue!
They offer good products at nice prices. I have been using Xiaomi's scooter and home security camera for some years and am happy with their products and services offered. Not only are their products cheaper than competitors in the market but Xiaomi products also stand the test of time.
They are changing the game in the household appliances and consumer electronics. you can literally build out an ecosystem where you have the phone, the watch, the coffee machine, the weight scale, the robot cleaner, wall clock, kitchen appliances, anything from head to toe from soup to the nuts. unbelievable. fitness bands too! So once you get deep into the world of xiaomi, it can basically encompass all your life. I don't have a ton of info about their products since obviously i havent used them all but i like the fact that almost every single device comes with a smartphone app that you can store historical data, like on those weight scales and the robot house cleaner
Sigh I don't like giving bad reviews but it is what it is, I've used 2 Redmi phones and both failed me. I don't know why Redmi 9c has a 64bit hardware but was shipped with a 32 bit software which makes me unable to install most apps and the phone became insufferable to use after a year and half. My other Redmi note 9 just got into a boot loop and the panel is damaged which costs around the same price as the device itself
I've been a fan of Xiaomi products for many years, and I find they strike just the right balance between reliability and affordability. I started with their smartphones but recently started to build up my house and kitchen appliances only with Xiaomi products. I can name a couple of products that I bought at a fraction of the price of some other brands, and still proved to be at the highest quality. Like the air-fryer for example. Now I have a wish list of smart home devices. I like that all their products communicate with each other and it's really simple to make the network for a smart home.
Very disappointing experience. The phone stopped working after less then 2 years, was sent twice to be repaired, and when that didn't work I was sent a new replacement phone that stopped working within a month. Their emails that a full of empty phrases such as 'Rest assured we will assist you with this' are driving me mad! When I phoned customer service it wasn't any better.
Without doubt the worst phone I have ever had unfortunately I have to wait until August to get out of contract when I complained to 3 where I got it nothing can be done they don’t even stock them anymore I wander why ??? Because they are absolutely rubbish
I have 2 mobiles from POCO/Xiaomi, is the same company anyway. The Redmi last 2 years and start to get very slow and battery just for half day, later the screen start to be no accurate.Second and last experience is the POCO F2 PRO.After 3 years, right after the warranty ends the POCO F2 PRO stopped charge. In the repair shopping, the diagnostic was, motherboard problem. So DO NOT BUY XIAOMI POCO series, this is garbage phones and just endure the warranty.
I brought Mi 5A 100 cm (40 inch) Full HD LED Smart Android TV with Google Assistance (2022 model). After few months TV stopped power on automatically. I did multiple customer support calls but there is no response over my query. Even the technician visiting time scheduled multiple times but no one visited. This is so horrible experience with MI. There is a person in customer support working in Bangalore location named Pankaj Singh he is horrible person in customer support. We as a customer's are struggling to get service but no one is responsible for that. Please stop buying MI products. MI is worst electronic company. Don't buy anything.
I bought their vacuum cleaning robot Roidmi Eve. The battery went dead after 2 years. Replacing the battery was a most torturing experience. Service Center location is remote and difficult to find. Personnel are incompetent. Promise to call but never call. Same excuse given given for not calling - very busy. Same excuse why repair is not done - waiting for parts. It has been 9 weeks and still nothing. This kind of service experience is absolute rubbish. Buying Xiaomi is a disastrous choice.

“Xiaomi are cooler!”

I confidently claim that in the battle between android and ios, Xiaomi wins! Not only do they produce good smartphones, but also their laptops are very fast and far cheaper compared to macbook. I actually tested it on my own as I had both macbook and xiaomi mi notebook. Via this practical experiment I came to the conclusion that it's far better to have a good laptop on windows under your belt, rather than super-protected macbook where you can't install apps.

“In Bishkek from the mi agency. Four days ago, I bought a Thizdeh Lite phone. It is interesting that”

In Bishkek from the mi agency. Four days ago, I bought a Thizdeh Lite phone. It is interesting that the battery of the new mobile phone is broken and I am in the process of passing between the sales representative and the central repair shop. I have paid four hundred dollars for the mobile phone and so far eighteen dollars for the taxi, and I am still working with the old phone. It is interesting. No

“Versatile tech corporation.”

Seemingly this tech company produces everything from smartphones to automatic pepper grinders or smart lamps. I don't know how they manage to do all this stuff but I have no complaints about the vast majority of their products. I used several of them in my life and everything was of a good quality.

“Worst service dont buy any product”

Gue to display issue in tv, i request a technicwl service in my website. But no one came till now and not rectified my issue. “Beaware its on a scam level, they cant repair their products”

It's a scam, Be aware ‼ CRM:*******183 Your Mi Product will turn absolute if it needs repair. This is what happened to you, after almost a year of use of mi projector 2, which Xiaomi is still selling but not able to repair due to the lack of spare parts, and even the head office could not solve or take responsibility for the issue. I bought 4 different products from them, but when I needed service they could not fix it. The products now are trash, i contacted their service center, they asked me to provide a lot of information but they failed to coordinate with the local service center and solve the problem, due to lack of spare parts. You will even reply to the comment to DM them, they don't do anything. I am just commenting here to warn other people not to fall for the same scam. “Software, proximity sensor issue and heating issues Battery Issue”

Stay away from this company, they are terrible human beings and their phones are Barbie phones! I purchased a Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5g. This phone gave me nothing but problems. From the very first day I bought it, it had a line running through the screen from top to bottom. Don't purchase this mobile it has heating issues and the proximity sensor is the worst, all the problems starts form the software issue it works on it's own and the device hangs within the warranty period and xiomi service is the worst compared to other brands i don't recommend this phone it's definitely worst phone The handsfree speaker and mic is useless and people can't hear me when I use it! Also, the speaker when attached to your ear annoyingly crackles. The apps it comes with don't work, like the universal remote! Furthermore, It's supposed to have a feature which allows you to record calls but it doesn't! The only decent feature is the camera, but unfortunately I need a phone not a camera. Everytime I tried to address these problems with customer support, I was asked to send a diagnostic test result run through the phone (feature available), I punctually did send it but with no avail, the issues where never addressed. I'm never buying anything from Xiaiomi ever again. Please don't purchase Xiaomi Mobile's This company is a disgrace with no respect for their customers Service Value Shipping Returns

“Never buy Mi product”

Hi. I purchase my new laptop from MI. In this battery is drained within 2 hours of usage. We request to apply this product but in service center says it would be observed for 24 hours. And we put our laptop in the service center. Now it's 72 hours but no one gives us the proper answer when approval comes. It takes to a long time like 10 to 15 days for the replacement of this product. No one can give proper answers in customer care also. I am doing work from home and my job is new. So how can I explain my company? Without a laptop, I can't work. It will be very same for me. I am facing big trouble. When the service center also says its a genuine battery issue the company does not give approval for replacement. And no one helps me. So it's a loss for me. Never buy mi product. Customer satisfaction is very poor. Everyone gives an answer we can't do anything about that. It's 10 or 15 days' time for replacement it's a very loss for me. Products used:laptop

“Always on display review”

I have a redmi note 12 pro. Overall this phone is good. I found a issue in Always On Display. I think its better if the users have more Simple animations. For example, when phone receive a notification, its better to light up Only The alway on display with a small notification badge rather than lighting up the whole lock screen. Likewise hope to get more animations to the always on display.

“Tons of innovative products”

As for me it's one of the most versatile tech companies in the world. It seems like they produce everything from smartphones to some electric bottle openers. In fairness I just made it up about electric bottle openers, but maybe they have those xD

“Poco x3”

Love my poco phone. It drains slowly! Had it on for 3 days before it got drained. Highly recommended!

“"Best Phone I have - K20 Pro"”

I'm using the K20 Pro from Xiaomi and I think this is one of the best android phones I've ever purchased. It's a phone with a full-screen display. The thing I love most about this phone is its pop front camera which has sound and light effects. First I was scared that if this phone falls from my hand, the camera will be ruined, but the good thing is when the phone calls from your hand, the cameras would immediately go inside and I loved this.

“Xiaomi products are faulty, their customer service is a disgrace and they are THIEVES. Don't buy!”

Xiaomi Customer Service is a DISGRACE. They are thieves. They are keeping my property (an electric scooter) and refuse to send it back to me. Dont buy from them. I bought an electric scooter from them a year and a half ago (july 2020). It was faulty from the start and they refuse to change it, despite the fact I brought it to their attention within a month. It broke down 4 times within 10 months, keeping in mind most of the time the country was in lockdown, so I used it not as much as I would in "free circulation" times (and that gives you an idea on the bad quality of product and of customer service). Since beginning june 2021 I asked to send it back for repair for the fourth time, and asked for a replacement which was granted. However they delayed in giving me the means to send them back the scooter, which was finally collected by them end of July 2021 (so basically 2 months delays). I kept calling them to know when they would collect and send a replacement as I was due to move out of the country end of July due to family reasons, which I communicated to them every single time) After countless hour-long calls, the manager Valerie agreed in conjunction with Xiaomi French customer service to send back the replacement to my new adress in Paris, France. She said it on the phone, and didn't acknowledged my emails where I recapped our phone conversation. Since then, the replacement is ready, but they are stubornely telling me they can send the replacement to me, but only at a UK address, despite me having told them I would move out, and that I don't have family nor friends left in UK. So to this day, they have my property, refuse to send it back to me, so basically they sold something to me and are keeping it. That is the definition of a con or a theft. Don't buy from them!

“Goog phone”

I like their phones. Cheep, with good performance, great camera and stylish design. I bought Mi 11 after my mi a1 and instantly feel the difference. Service Shipping Quality

Last but not least, here is another must-watch video you don't want to miss:

How To Protect Your Online Browsing From Installing Malware

We have two more powerful fraud prevention tools that you should know about. We've been asked over and over again about the most effective ways to stay safe online. After testing several fraud prevention products online, we could certainly say the winner is a browser extension called Guardio. It automatically blocks 100x more harmful websites than competitors and 10x more malicious downloads than any other security tool. It was tested and vetted by our Scam Detector team.

Guardio has over a million users, and while it is already affordable for the benefits it provides (just a few dollars a month), it covers up to 5 family members. For Scam Detector readers exclusively, Guardio offers a 20% discount this week. How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
  3. Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  4. Check this: They hide your online searches, which means you will get only organic search results without tracking and follow-up ads. For example, when you search for a flight, and the next time you look at the same search, the prices are higher. With Surfshark, this doesn't happen.

For the Black Friday promotion, Surfshark offers 86% off + up to 5 months free to Scam Detector readers. You can get the deal only this week HERE or by clicking the button below. stop third parties to track my device button

Are You the Owner of xiaomi.com?

If you own xiaomi.com, we’d love to hear from you. If you'd like to challenge the trust score we’ve assigned, we’re happy to take a closer look. However, please be prepared to provide solid proof of your business's legitimacy. Introduce yourself with your name (not just "Admin").

When domain owners contact us to dispute their trust score, we kindly ask for the following:

* Business documentation that verifies your legitimacy (e.g., certificate of incorporation, business registration, or official records with the site or business name).

* Your personal LinkedIn profile and the business's social media accounts (e.g., Facebook).

* If available, proof of satisfied customers (e.g., screenshots, not just testimonials on your website), evidence of inventory, or records of handling order cancellations properly.

We’re more than willing to update your review based on the evidence you provide—the more proof, the higher your trust score. Please note, however, that we cannot verify non-operational websites or those redirected to other URLs. Additionally, we do not verify websites involved in high-risk financial services, gambling, adult content, or illegal activities.
