Is worldfirst.com Legit?

Excellent customer service. The service rep, Uma, was very patient and knowledgeable. Helped me pay a supplier and do a foreign exchange! Thanks very much.

This is by far the most useless bank account you can come across. Imagine payoneer, but without the ability to issue cards, receive payments from your clients or having to wait 3 weeks for a payment to get approved.Unless you are receiving payments from amazon, etsy and sites alike, DONT waste your time with this one.

W1 is completely useless, it is not a bank, it is a joke. I knew that receiving funds from third parties was prohibited (Why, btw? Ooooh, those scary third parties, let's avoid them), but the VAT return option was available for me in a dashboard. I decided to use W1 at least to receive VAT repayments. I fed W1 details to HMRC and received a first repayment from them. W1 asked to verify the incoming payment. Okay. I decided this was just a technical procedure, and I submitted our last VAT report to W1 support. Those clowns rejected the report and sent a damn 5K+ GBP back to HMRC.They explained this by some limits on my account. Well, dear W1, if you limit your client don't forget to turn off the inactive features in the dashboard. You work with money, right? Sometimes 5K+ is important a lot. And you failed to just receive it from the strange third party -- the UK government.

We made a deposit into our WorldFirst account from a bank account in our name but its been nearly 3 weeks now and worldfirst are holding the funds of thousands of pounds. They are refusing to give a real response! they wont send the money back to us and they wont credit it into our account either they are really blatantly just stealing from customers. After two weeks of no response at all as soon as i posted my first experience here they finally sent me an email asking for proof of the payment, I sent bank statements and letters from my bank showing all our company details. Now its been days again and it looks like we're going back to no response. this is honestly just shocking im going to have to report this to the FCA as i dont think theres any other way we'll get our money back.

I worked with WorldFirst for a long time until the setup of my company changed and I no longer needed them. It's a great alternative for a conventional bank and the support is very good, especially Irene helped me a lot.

I signed up for a business bank account. They never told me the nature of my account until I received payments from my clients, you won't believe I could only receive money from accounts in my name or other world-first accounts. My payments were canceled & declined. My many clients & reservations were disturbed & put me at a huge loss. What is the purpose of opening a business bank account that cannot receive payments from other clients? It's unbelievable & disgusting. Additionally, there are too many high transactional charges & horrible customer support. Do not waste/risk your time and money on this service.

We've been with WorldFirst for 10+ years - highly recommended. Recently I was having problems and their team were quick to respond and follow up to check I had resolved my issue. Nice company to work with. :)

We used WorldFirst and its FX services for many years until the Pandemic hit. Recently we got hold of WF in light of our new FX enquiries and the need of international payments to our oversees payees. Uma from the team helped us on these transactions and made sure everything went smoothly and fast. Very satisfied. It is a 10/10 from us, highly recommended.

They don't give a penny that this is Your Money. I have account manager who "authorise" when and where you will get your Money? If he isn't in the mood you will have to wait.On top of that they use intermediate banks who charge you expensive fees. Parasite structure with people who don't care about customers.

“35k USD missing for over 3 weeks - STAY AWAY”

We transferred 35k USD of our Amazon sales to pay international suppliers. Company asked for documents which we supplied and voluntary even more information that was asked for. After 3 weeks, the company acknowledged that they received the transfer but have yet to credit it to our account or refund it. Stay away, there are other options for making international payments
