“Money milking chinese company”

Wondershare is a company based in China and its focus is to milk money from you. They will never refund you if you forget to cancel subscription by 1 day. I never experienced this bad treatment of customers. Everytime I once in a while forget to cancel a subscription a normal legitimate company would refund me without any hessitation. All products are expensive and this company is designed just to milk non-Chinese people. Their support is unreachable. AI chat will send you a non-working "Turn to human" link. I just wasted $140 + taxes for a program that I used 4 times in the first month. Their products somewhat work but it is not anything special and their predatory subscription makes Wondershare an EVIL company!

“No longer the same product”

I have been using different versions of Wondershare AllMyTube for the past 13 years with great satisfaction. But during the past months of 2024 I have been experiencing all kind of defects that make it one of the worst software ever. I even bought a new version, deleted the old one but it keeps coming for no reason. Then the last obstacle, it connects to a device that I don't even have. Although it gives the option to click on "wrong device- Do not connect again", it doesn't work. Complete disappointment! Rating zero now if zero is available.

I purchased this junk. Attempted to get support, after sitting there waiting no one came. There is contact email for these crooks. The refund policy is a joke, I intend to cancel CC transaction and advise the SCAM sites of these rip-off practices. Then told me they could give me a refund and would 7 plus days, they use my money to garner interset in thier accounts. As soon as the request hits the bank I will refuse it as fraud. and hopefully they get a backchrage for trying to defaud me. People need to understand what you get from this SCAM company! “Horrendous Customer Service and Unusable Product from Wondershare”

I am a long-time customer of Wondershare Technology, and my recent experience has been nothing short of horrendous. I purchased two one-year licenses for their Dr.Fone product, only to find that both stopped working after just four months. When I reached out for support, I was met with unhelpful responses and an outright refusal to provide a refund or alternative solutions. After multiple attempts to resolve the error 12 issue on my iOS device through their AI assistant and a representative named Lloyd, I was informed that Pokémon Go had blocked third-party virtual location tools, rendering my subscription useless. Despite this, Wondershare refused to issue a refund, citing that my purchase date in February was too far in the past, even though I last used the product in June. Lloyd's sympathy did nothing to address the core issue. He repeatedly stated that their system could no longer process a refund and that escalation to management or ownership was not an option. This lack of flexibility and responsibility is utterly unacceptable. I have wasted a significant amount of money on two licenses that are now completely useless. “30 Day Moneyback Guarantee Fraud”

I am a South African University student and tried the software for a project. I saw that it was expensive (nearly half of my monthly living budget) but with the 7 day free trail and 30 day money back guarantee, I was not to stressed. I was slightly suspicious when the money came directly from my account immediately but thought that I still have the 30 day money back. When I canceled it not 24 hours after purchase, they said my product is not eligible for money back. Even though the entire process of purchasing it, it was clearly stated as being eligible. PDF was working fine when I first bought it. Now I can't open any files, and consumer services states it's a 10-minute wait to speak to someone. I was on hold for 46 minutes and could never get in touch with someone. I tried to use the chat also, but they could not help. They sent me an email asking the same questions. I now can't get a refund because it has been over 30 days, and the product doesn't work at all for me. Can't even open a PDF on it. No refunds ever possible (even if you have issues). Very bad experience and a total disappointment, especially after thinking I found a good software. Denied refunding me after I accidentally bought the wrong package which does not have a 7 day free trial (very misleading on the website), although the app did not even work for me! Very disappointing, this never happened to me before and the customer service did not show any understanding, just want the money.

“Exploitative, worthless product”

Wondershare worked adequately for 2 years for me during a time I was paying for a payed subscription. For the last 4 months, it simply refuses to save any information I save in any inputtable document, which makes this product worthless. Not only is there a "watermark" all over the document for this product which I am actually paying for, but it also doesn't save content that I am inputting into input fields. “Literal Malware”

After deleting Filmora, they left numerous background tasks and programs on my computer. After finally figuring out how to delete all of the left over files, I find certain wondershare programs reinstalled. I then had to install multiple programs to search thru every system file, and had to go through my computers registries, all the way down to the literal binary and clear it out. Even now, theres 2 log files left that my computer refuses to uninstall and are unable to be accessed by any program. I actually might have to do a fresh windows install. Huge bummer and huge scam. Trash bought their recoverit to recover some deleted files...it took days and still had 50% to go. I uninstalled wiped my pc and reinstalled my apps manually. Used one drive to get back what i could. This was 4 days after purchase before the 7 day deadline...they refused to issue a refund unless i wiped my pc again reinstalled their software and got screenshots of it taking all day. Its AI-driven background removal tool does not work if you're wearing dark clothing. “Very Poor Customer Support & Ultimately retention”

Purchased this software 5 years ago and although they have my cell number and alternative email address on file, they will not allow me to change the primary/login email address without providing a purchase screenshot from 5 years ago. What part of "I no longer have access to that email address" do they not understand? Why can't they use my other forms of 2 factor authentication? I guess they like seeing email bounce errors in their logs and I guess at some point someone will take my old email account and be able to take over the account. This company charged me for a program that was supposed to unlock my phone. It didn't work, and now their "service team" is giving me the run around. Just refund my money. Your app was trash. They have so many money-making traps in their sign-up process, everything opt-opt as opposed to opt-in and of course with automatic renewal. Cited as "Personal Problems" for the refund refusal once requested as soon as the charge hit without ever using the service. Beware, their customer service is awful.

I wanted to try out their software to auto generate subtitles. Which you cannot use on their trial version. So I purchased the annual subscription for $39.99. I was told that I had failed to click on the little "!" button to see that subtitle generator time cost more per hour. When I got in and found out that it would cost me an additional fee, I no longer wanted their product. I had no other use for it. Amanda with Wondershare helped me understand the state of a file I need opened from a company that no longer exists and which I didn't have the foresight to save on my machine. It was also very nice they sent a follow up email with the whole transcript of our chat. That seems quite transparent and legit and I've not seen other companies do that. Usually just goes into some corporate black hole you don't have access to.

“PDFelement - getting better?”

I bought a perpetual PDFelements licence as it was recommended as the best on the market in a review I read online. Unfortunately, the OCR capability wasn't able to do what I wanted but Tech Support assured me they would improve it in the next release (in about a month). My point is that it's not worth giving the Tech-support people a hard time. They have a job to do just like everyone else. So, as the saying goes "You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar". Work with them if you can, work around them if you can't. Life is too short to get irate.
