vitalproteins.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives vitalproteins.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 90.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 90.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to vitalproteins.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning vitalproteins.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between vitalproteins.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of vitalproteins.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of vitalproteins.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. vitalproteins.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether vitalproteins.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether vitalproteins.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, vitalproteins.com.

Very poor customer services. It’s not easy getting through and they don’t read the messages properly. The collagen I was using had an offensive smell to it … it was so bad I couldn’t use it. I asked for advice and if this was normal and because I had bought the product for Amazon they refused to comment and said I needed to go through Amazon. I won’t be using vital collagen again. I will take my business elsewhere
Don't buy this product or buy from vital proteins if you do.Customer service very poor .There Web site generated wrong postcode didnt confirm went to a different address. When I found out 10 days later the told me not there liability go get it from address .I travelled to postcode and found my product had been used asked them again and they said not our problem .I wrote a review they didn't put it up as they don't put negative reviews about customer care or negative about product eg generated postcodes ,can't cancel subscriptions, lead in previous products ,or damage all true reviews but only keep positive up .Beware!
This is a company that makes it very difficult to contact them once you have entered into a regular delivery. Once you have bought a product, your account gives you no options for stopping a regular purchase, amending a purchase or speaking to anyone. There is nothing wrong with the product I have bought but it's nothing special either and I am stuck in an ongoing purchase which Vital Proteins makes it impossible to stop or amend. The way that the web site is designed is manipulative.
This is either a very poorly run business or a scam.Tried to buy product and it wouldn't accept the valid c/c used. Rang them and they said try again. Didn't work so called them back and there was an automated message saying they were closed for the day (3pm!!). Website says open till 5pm. Tried to email them and email bounced back noticed they had slightly different email address name to the business name using a "t" in front of the company name) ANOTHER VERY ODD THING.At this point they had all the c/c details so I had to cancel the card just in case.Waste of time and also reported to SCAMWATCH. Do NOT use them, read the other reviews if you need extra info about how these dodgy scammers operate.ZERO STARS
I’ve been corresponding with Vital Proteins numerous times over the last 4 weeks trying to obtain an agreed postage refund. I signed up for a subscription but was not notified in advance of this despatch, so I had no time to cancel. Very annoying. They agreed to refund postage but after several attempts to chase this my card was not reimbursed. I know it’s a small amount but it’s the principal.
I had ordered several products to try them out and I have to say I felt really bad as most jars had been only half full. One box even had less than half of powder inside and I felt a bit cheated. Also before they had a lot of Marine Collagen product as I am pescatarian but now most products are made of Bovine Collagen which is sourced from Beef which I am not eating.I am a bit disappointed.
I used this product a few years ago and needed only 1 Tbs. Now it's 3 Tbs, doesn't dissolve, just clumps up so I must use my Nutra-bullet. It's unlikely that the container will provide 28 servings, as advertised. Very disappointing.
This product (which health conscious consumers may purchase) should not be on sale. I purchased it at Walmart. Walmart should boycott selling it! I paid $20+ to ingest lead! It’s disgusting to have this on the market it’s comical to state on their container ‘Your Wellness Routine is in for a treat’ Then there is a warning on their container that is contrary that states: WARNING: Consuming this product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. So is it stating that if it’s sold anywhere else in the world this product will not harm?!
Their customer service rep. Antonio is hilarious. I told him their webshop is broken and i cannot place an order because i cannot login to my account and he tells me to make a new account. I try ordering as a guest and that also doesn't work. Like I want to buy my products and they don't give a damn about the fact that their webshop is broken. I stopped getting a response on my support ticket when i insisted my account get fixed.
I bought this powder and it does work for nails and hair, however I wish someone has warned me about horrible heart palpitations that those powders can cause. I know that I am minority but even so, this is a very dangerous side effects that can lead to heart failure in a longer run. Once I stopped using it my symptoms were gone.
I've had a monthly subscription thru Amazon for the past year. Received the recent delivery 4 days ago 9/22/23 and the package was damaged and half empty. Amazon doesn't refund or replace 3rd party providers, and I cannot reach Vital Proteins-when I call, they have me on hold for up to an hour until it turns 5PM Central time and then they say sorry we're closed. Also, have noticed the product is slimy and has a yellow tinge to it. Canceled the order thru Amazon and am pretty pissed off so I choose to write a negative review. Jennifer Aniston, are you still their spokesperson?
I am taking the Vital protein collagen peptides lately and I have seen good amelioration in my articulations and my skin have improved... mix very easy compare to other brands and doesn't taste nothing so easy to mix with mostly anything... Shop around, Amazon is to Expensive, got it at Natura Market.. around $10.00 lessVery good product, good quality!
I've been using this product for over a year and it has recently changed. All previous jars of powder dissolved immediately and left no colour or flavour. This most recent jar no longer dissolves quickly (it sits on top of my coffee and I have to stir it a lot or it clumps), makes my drink opaque, and now I can taste that there is something in my coffee. Very disappointed as I cannot find anything online about them changing the formula of the powder.
If I only coud give 0 star, but... Anyway, THE WORSEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever had so far! On Still didn't recieve my order, there's no contacts pr phone number to reach customer service and by mailing them.theu don't response! My major mistake is that I didn't check trustpilot reviews, which definitely could give me the best decision, to not buy from their website!
Bought 2 large bottles of protein powder from their official website recently. They arrived on 7th october 2023 but both of them expires on 9th December 2023. I can’t believe they sell nearly expired protein powders and have the audacity to sell it through their official website. I have totally lost my trust on the Vital proteins brand and will be switching to a different brand. What kind of manufacturer sells nearly expired products on their official website ? Only sloppy ones do that and I now doubt the integrity of their brand and product. There might be lead and cadmium in there since they can’t even track the expiry dates of their products properly. Nearly expired products are usually sold via third party vendors at a large discount. Terrible experience.
Awful customer service. Wanted to try collagen powder and ordered. Got offer on simply cook as part of package. Still no sign of the simply cook despite original email from vital proteins saying sorry for delay. Tried emailing.....messaging them and totally ignored. Don't waste your time...they happy to take your money but service to me is more important.
This review is to warn people about the collagen powder. I purchased the collagen powder. I took it for three days in the morning, in my coffee, when I started to notice terrible headaches, heart palpitations, and Leg twitching. I contacted the company as I was worried. No interest at all in my side effects. After I did some research, I found a publication showing that Vital collagen is contaminated with heavy metals, so I asked the company to provide a lab test for heavy metals, but they were unable to do that. Also, I have requested a full refund, and they were arguing that the product is open and cannot be accepted for return. This is alarming. Everyone should be very cautious of these big companies and what they are selling. I will address this further.
I have just received my order and unfortunately I will not be re-ordering as the container is only half full which means the powder will only last approx 18 days making it very expensive also the smell and taste is quite off putting. I will be returning to my usual collagen sachets which taste much better also are less expensive.
Writing a review here because I tried to do so at Boots where I purchased this and it was blocked with no explanation. It appears they are filtering out less positive reviews of the product. The text of my review is here: I am writing another review as my first was blocked with no explanation, I think it’s important for transparency that not only 5* reviews are allowed. This is definitely not tasteless and makes your drink slightly thicker, I personally find it a bit unpleasant but it is drinkable. It doesn’t mix well with cold drinks, but more easily in hot drinks. I have yet to notice an impact on my hair and skin.
Ive been ordering this collagen peptides via amazon, its cheaper and arrives on time and does what it says on the packet, pure product, dissolves, no additives. Im happy so far

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
