vidanta.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives vidanta.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 83.9. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 83.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to vidanta.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning vidanta.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between vidanta.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of vidanta.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of vidanta.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. vidanta.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether vidanta.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether vidanta.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, vidanta.com.

“Horrible place”

Our room stinks of mold. Asked for another room. Was told no. The food is mediocre and extremely expensive. Went into town to buy groceries. Spend most of your time riding around on the shuttle to go anywhere on the property. All they are interested in is selling you a time share for $28,000 US. After repeatedly telling them no, the price was down to $2,000. Also it is no cash. Everything is charged to your room. Asked for a bottle of water. Had to call the front desk and there was a charge for that! The maid doesn't ever sweep the floor. I will never return here Tip for consumers:Save your money and check out Elcid resorts Service Value Quality

“Riviera Naya: Dangerous. Treacherous. Unethical. TERRIBLE”

Dangerous. Negligent. My family member was injured by an exposed, rusty nail at the edge of the main pool. The resort did nothing to accommodate this injury caused by their negligence. We were there after the death of a family member to grieve together, and this treatment by the resort only serve to add insult to our pain. Well, the workers are great, management is unethical, miserly, terrible. Do not stay here! Do not waste your money! Service Value Quality

“Not ethical or nice”

My wife and I paid to use tennis courts. 5 minutes after starting, it rained hard. We simply asked for a rain check for the following day (didn't ask for money back, just a credit) - they said tough, we don't have rain check policy for tennis. Won't be going back! It would have been so was to do the right thing, but they chose to screw the gringo!

“Vidanta/Vida Vacations deceptive trade practices”

The sales representative and sales manager working for Vidanta told us several lies in their presentation. Their finance office went so far as to video record the sale closing to deny us any future claims for the promises the sales staff made. When we realized how they screwed us, we tried to meet with them face to face, but they both literally hid from us. The vidanta staff then claimed that their salespersons were independent contractors for whom Vidanta/Vida Vacations had no control over. We were fools for trusting these people. This has been the biggest financial mistake of our lives. My advice: tightly grip your wallet and RUN! Tip for consumers:Avoid Vidanta like the plague. Products used:I purchased a timeshare. Service Value Returns Quality

“Donot go to Vidanta. If you do, do not be sucked into free breakfasts. That is a spider's web.”

The breakfasts are a bait. To trap you. The salesmen are very proficient at trapping you. Once you sign on, the rules change all the time. Then they get you into something more expensive. The food is outrageously expensive. Do not trust them. They are human barracuda! I would categorise as predatory and. Deceitful company. Products used:4. bedroom villa Service Value Quality

“Blue French restaurant”

We had our anniversary dinner tonight at bleu. The French restaurant at Nuevo Vallarta Vidanta plaza. We love the ambience and the French bread is amazing. That being said I don't think we will return other than for a bottle of wine and a loaf of French bread. We had the rack of lamb for dinner. The lamb was so tough I could have used it to sole my shoes. We sent a piece back to the chef to taste and also told the manager. Surprise. No apology no acknowledgment and no. Can we give you a dessert to compensate. Just the bill and 930 pesos for inedible meat. The onion soup and the lobster bisque were good but I doubt we will return for a full meal again Bah humbug

“Vidanta is bait and switch”

Vidanta gets members to sign up for time shares but then categorizes them in one class at signing and then provides them with a different room category depending on the area. For instance, Nuevo Grand Luxe is different than Riviera Maya Grand Luxe. Buyer beware.

“Do not waste your money”

Just purchased a report, for $17.95. Do not waste your money or time. The primary info I was searching for, was a titling timeline, from manufacture date to current. (1999 vehicle). Only showed that it was titled in MS, in 2006. Very limited info. Not nearly enough to make an informed decision on a vehicle purchase, compared to CarFax. Guess you get what you pay for. Value

“Wow”

The moment we leave our room, we realize that we are profit units for Vidanta at all levels! The facilities are a satisfactory façade where one gets charge extra for absolutely anything and everything… Service Value Quality

“Held Hostage”

There is a very aggressive attempt to sell you basically a time share that they don't call a time share. They try to convince you that you can make money on your purchase when in fact, you aren't. Stay away if you can.

“Beautiful dream wedding”

We had an elegant, magical, perfect and a beautiful wedding at this resort for our daughter. We've been vacationing at Vidanta Riviera Maya for at least 20 years. The resort has beautiful landscapes, professional and wonderful staffs, delicious food and drink, amazing entertainment with Cirque du Soleil, Salum (beachfront eateries bars restaurants), and Havana Moon (beachfront with live entertainment nightly) and several other wonderful restaurants for dinner. Our favorite is breakfast/brunch buffet at Quinto and Del Lago for $25 per person will keep you full until dinner. We love the pools and the beach, and of course miles of the boardwalk throughout the resorts with iguanas and local wildlife and beautiful jungle. We've always looking forward to come back after each trip to our favorite Summer vacation destination. Thank you Vidanta and Maria L our wedding planner and all the staffs for a memorable beautiful wedding, and Josefina our photographer for the most beautiful pictures and slides show that made us cry with happy tears each time we watched. Service Value Quality

“Don't buy timeshare through vida vacations”

I lost my hard money from the sales executive of the Riviera maya resort. Whatever he promised there is nothing I'm getting. Everything he lies. He sold me limitless vacations membership and I paid much amount for that. I could travel more than 3 countries on that amount. Customer service is also very bad Tip for consumers:Do not buy anything Products used:Membership Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Avoids at all costs”

The rooms were Ok, but the appliances including a toilet were all in need of repair. Flies everywhere. Very expensive food and located far away from any other dining options. Registration was lengthy and poorly managed. Sales pitch was lengthy and almost threatening -we certainly did not buy. DO NOT GO THERE Service Value Quality

“RUN!”

The biggest scam company thorough the world! They only take much money from you via their big traps! I wish I didn't trust them! Vidanta or Vida was one of the biggest mistake & loss in my whole life! Products used:membership with Vidanta or Vida Vacation Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“What a HUGE disappointment”

If you like very low quality food and a Carnival atmosphere, then Vidanta may be for you. We tried to like this place. It is very beautiful. However it is way too big. All the employees act like they are too important. There is no heart or soul to Vidanta. We are in three different restaurants while we were here and then just gave up and went to town the rest of the week. The Mexican restaurant is like you would find a sports bar in a shopping mall. Terrible food and very poor service. The Asian meal the next night was even worse. On a scale of 1-10, these places do not even reach a 2. Do not even wast your time. As an insult upon injury, they were 2 to 3 time more expensive than anything comparable in town. Tip for consumers:Do not waste your time or money at Vindanta Products used:Two dinners Service Value Quality

“DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!”

We just got back from there last night and the only reason I gave it one star is because there's nothing lower. The staff however was wonderful, the room was ok, nothing to brag about. We are "members" and were told that as "members" we would get certain perks, discounts etc. However, upon checking out we were charged full price for everything and were told that even though we were "members" we didn't get a discount on anything unless we sat through yet another presentation. So there are no perks to being a member with Vidanta. They're liars and cheats.

“Don't be a sucker”

Went there on the presence of having a botanical garden tour. Got a free breakfast and there were flies or some other bugs buzzing around the food... gross/disgusting. Followed by 3.5 hours of high pressure sales. After 50 No's, you would think they would understand! Oh you can leave, but you won't get any free stuff we promised. Smells of paint, varnish and mold. Bathroom did not flush and paper towels dispenser did not work. Passed from one person to the next. In total 6 hours... left, refused to provide massage as promised. I would never buy here nor would I stay here! Nor would I trust them!

“No Accountability”

I fell at the swimming pool in November 2021. The resort refuses to accept liability for the incident. They will not pay my medical bills nor will they offer any pain and suffering compensation. All I asked for was our resort fee to be reimbursed since our family trip was ruined after my fall. They never checked up on me to make sure I was okay and are now being uncooperative with correspondence. Horrible horrible company and customer service. Even the waitstaff at the pool commented how this was a continuing safety issue but the resort refuses to make safer. Very irresponsible and unprofessional. They need to accept accountability for their neglect to fix the problem. I am still trying to just get my CT scan bills paid as I literally cracked my head open. Products used:Resort amenities Service

“BEWARE!”

Beautiful Nature! Workers are nice. Everything is Super expensive. However I fell and broke my wrist and hurt my head. I have NOT heard from anyone in authority to see how I am! I had to cancel my trip along with my 2 companions and fly home in a hurry. I have my arm in a cast for 3 months. I will need rehab following so I will miss work. Go somewhere all inclusive! It's cheaper and just as nice! BEWARE! Do not buy! Service Value Shipping Quality

“Vidanta Sucks”

We bought in to the bait and switch timeshare presentation. When we arrived our room was small and we had to beg for an ocean view. Despite being represented that we would always have an ocean view and king size beds. Our guests were treated like second class citizens and were insulted and degraded. Unlike the pictures and representations made during the hard press sales presentation we were extremely disappointed. The resort did nothing to try and address these issues and the management was incompetent at best. WARNING DO NOT BUY ANY TIMESHARES AT VIDANTA. I intend on filing a complaint with the Mexican authorities fraud division.

“To get a good room they Bribe us by having to go to a time share,if you dont go no good room”

Vidanta now will Bribe you having to go to a time share if you dont go you will be given a bad roon. We have been a customer for 26 years. It seems that the longest you are with them the worst your treated. This is happing all the time now. Read these review before buying. I head another story when I was there a women bought a time share and when you be come 70 years old you don't have to pay any maintence fee when you go. She call them up to make a appointment and then said no availabel rooms. These people will lie to you about every thing

“Vidanta scam”

The Vidanta sales force at the Cabo location out and out lied to me. They sold a bill of goods and then changed it all on the contract. Had my first stay at the Cabo resort. Rooms have no heat, and people next door had no hot water. It took the resort 3 days to move them to a new room. Meanwhile, the sales staff again hounded us and lied about their situation. I would not reccomend this organization to anyone. Service Value

“Vidanta is the worst company I have ever worked with…”

Vidanta lies and tells you things in person and then you sign all these papers and it turns out you've signed things that they lied to and they coerce and mislead… their customer service, lacks problem-solving, helping and leading you to a good conclusion. I advise you to enjoy the resort, but don't sign anything and be a part of their membership. I have other memberships that I am completely happy with… Thank you for listening and I caution you to heed my advice.

“Beautiful rooms, horrible parking system, no oceanfront rooms or view, rocky beach”

Vidanta Grand Luxxe Riviera Maya: As long as you stay at the Grand Luxxe rooms are huge, large, new & modern with nice outdoor balconies (request the highest floor or your room will be totally dark because every building is surrounded by jungle. Expect Mosquitoes & shockingly the resort doesn't even have Mosquito spray or coils for guests. They also have no umbrellas in each unit, surprising & badly needed considering it's a rain forest! 1st week we had a unit with no hot water in the sinks, which they never did fix and fridge didn't work, which took them 2 fridge replacements to fix the problem with fridge and freezer both. Parking is such a nightmare I'd recommend using taxis instead of renting a car, especially with mandatory insurance charged by car rental companies. Service Value Quality

“Great resort”

Quality of accomodations, grounds, restaurants and service is outstanding. It doesn't get any better than this. 5 stars! The people who work here make your time even more enjoyable. The accomodations at all levels are constantly cleaned. Restaurants have a huge variety of food. The pools are everywhere. The site looks over the ocean too. Lots of golf if you play. And soon a huge entertainment center will be next door. Tip for consumers:Expensive Service Value Quality

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
