Is upstartepoxy.com Legit?

Had an issue with my delivery Where the hardener had been laid down on its side and leaked out on everything contacted the company And had great customer service!! They replaced my product!

I bought an entire startup kit from a friend who also sold me some Spalding maple slabs to get started with. He swears by upstart epoxy and said he has tried other brands but none are as high quality and wasy to use. He sold me 2 unopened boxes with resin and hardener. I'm just about to get started with the project and I already feel the support and access to product knowledge, tips and support from the company. I know that I will be a loyal customer already as well. 😁

My first foray into epoxy and the Deep pour epoxy made it a breeze. Used both the upstart deep pour as well as two packs of the mica powder. And the end result was nothing short of fantastic. Only had a few air bubbles pop up and most of those were taken care of by a quick pass with the blow torch. Mixed the epoxy for 5 minutes before pouring it and that seemed to work well.

Got it as a gift, excited to use it! Would be 5 stars but I'm having to leave a review before I can get the free mica powder so that's an extra step I wasn't expecting and didn't want.

Pretty good stuff! I appreciate the quick set time. One word of advice: make sure you THOROUGHLY heat the resin before attempting to pour. It is VERY thick, and will NEVER de-gas if not heated before mixing!

I’ve been watching YouTube videos for hours on end about epoxy and different applications and such. Upstart epoxy has been widely used by various channels and had seemed to produce stunning projects so I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did!! The 6 hour work time allows for perfecting your desired finished look, the viscosity makes it ideal to work with, and the quality of the finished project is the best I’ve ever had!! I can’t wait to get my hands on some more!!

Upstart art resin epoxy is great for when I’m putting multiple layers on the tumblers I make!! Having the ability of the shorter work time means I can get my tumblers done and shipped a whole lot faster!! If you have a project that takes a while this won’t be good for you, for instance if you are making a geode or flower coaster that has several steps then the work time will take too long. Upstart epoxy resin mixes very well and finish projects were perfect I didn’t do a table top. I make Little things like resin boxes and refrigerator magnets and coasters. I made a lot of Christmas gifts that were enjoyed by many!!

I bought four-inch-thick pine planks for my kitchen countertop at my camp in Maine. After thoroughly familiarizing myself with the directions, as directed, I stirred the epoxy and hardener together in equal amounts for five full minutes. It has to be mixed well or it won't harden properly. Some of the projects I have been working on are cofee tables, clocks, cribbige boards, signs, and my new kitchen table. I have been getting several upbeat comments. This week I'll put pictures on eBay. The one caution I have is to thoroughly familiarize yourself with Upstarts easy-to-follow directions. Should you need assistance, Upstart is easy to work with, and ready to assist you. It is very important to follow Upstarts easy-to-follow directions. Follow them with exactness. Then sit back and enjoy your creations.

Great communication and follow-up. Opened immediately and poured three small pieces. The calculator is cool, but they should give results on required amount in oz/ml of each or combined since that’s how jugs are marked. I had to do a bunch of math to get to their .37 gallon measurement.

I’ve tried many different resin and Upstart Epoxy is by far the best resin. The curing time stated in the instructions is accurate, minimal bubbles, and each piece cures like glass. I am very pleased and will continue purchasing.

I have tried many more Resin products and this is my favorite! It is so easy to work with. I always have enough time to accomplish my projects before they start to set up. I also really appreciate that it does not have that strong chemical smell! I highly recommend Upstart Epoxy you will not be disappointed!

I’m am beyond thrilled with this resin product! I’m fairly new with resin and found it extremely easy to work with. Working time is a little less then what I normally use, but with certain projects, it’s an asset. Air bubbles are almost none existent and dry time is quick! Shipping is quick and their customer service is top notch! I’m am one happy customer! Highly recommend!

There are a gazillion pour epoxy resins out there, but none with not only the outstanding quality, but also the amazing support like Upstart Epoxy. The "how-to" videos and email tips and suggestions put this company above all of the rest.

This was the first time I used this brand and let me tell you it came out beautifully. Nice and clear and just the right hardness. I really didn't smell anything while I was working with it so I felt pretty safe from harsh fumes. The work time was great I did not feel rushed at all. I did have a few air bubbles but that was my fault for the way I was working with it so I can't complain. I think this might be my go to resin now. I am happy with my purchase and I love the price. Great quilty for such a cheap price.....

read and watch the video!! I did our countertops in the kitchen, and If I had watched the video again before I did them it would have came out terrific!! YOU MUST USE A HEAT GUN OR TORCH!! I did not and I have bubbles, contacted the company and they told me I should sand down whole surface do a re-pour, I will eventually, but Im just finishing up my backsplash. otherwise I love it!!

I am a former user of total boat the deep cast and this was my 1st time using upstart epoxy. I have another big project coming up that I will definitely use upstart on I like how it had a low exothermic heat and how it flowed more like water and wasn't super thick.

I have been playing with this for the last few days. I like it. My cups are very clear with very few imperfections. However, this is very temp sensitive. I had to get a small space heater to work with in my basement because my works space is not warm enough. And when mixing I can not get my epoxy to clear up. There are always tons of bubbles in my cup. I have mixed for 10mins (20ml of total product) while waiting for it to clear up. I am mixing in front of my space heater and still cannot get it to clear before I pour. All in all a very good product, not as user friendly as other products. Actual directions included with the epoxy would be nice.
