Is tuffstuff4x4.com Legit?

The paint is falling off of my Stealth tent after less then a year. customer service ghosted me because I don't have my order number.

Just starting into the RTT world. We've been avid off-road enthusiasts for 20+ yrs. Our 1st night in the Tuff Stuff Alpha during a torrential thunderstorm was better than expected & we stayed dry. Shipping was as described with no problems. The Alpha RTT is the perfect size for us & our JKU. Roomy & comfortable. Looking forward to our future adventures in the Tuff Stuff Alpha RTT.

No Complaints on product or quality. Holding up well during drives. I did mount the L brackets with galvanized carriage bolts that fit it the Jeep OEM roof rack channel better. I wouldn’t buy this anywhere else then factory direct. Some Amazon reviews seem to have have knock off fake copies being sold through them. Buy only from factory website

bought the tuff stuff alpha love it only couple of gripes, rivets are loose and brackets do not fit 3.25inch wide bars i have xtrusion bars 3inches and it doesn't fit at all. I ended up spending more money for a security mount since the stock bracket dont fit and I bought alpha security mount that I cant use, other than those 2 issues I'm happy with my tent

I've been very pleased with Tuff Stuff Overland. I placed an order through a social media ad and fully expected to be put in a "block" of orders and shipment to take a significant amount of time. All products were packaged well and shipped in a day or two! I had my complete order at my doorstep in barely a week. I thought that was impressive considering the current commerce situation. I'll definitely be back.

I pre-purchased the Alpha II IN EARLY Jan 2021 with a promised delivery date of Feb. The 1st update on delivery was in fact Feb - the last week!The RTT finally arrived the beginning of Apr 2021. For that, I cancelled 2 trips as a result. The kicker - I was shipped the wrong tent - the Alpha which is larger, heavier and more than I wanted. Herego, the exact reason I ordered the Alpha II.Knowing - after I uncrated, de-pkg'd - that further delays and yet another trip would have to be cancelled, I opted to stick with the Alpha. Have to say I am disappointed.

Tuff Stuff Overland drop shipped my new Alpha Roof Top Tent earlier than the projected release date of this new product, and in a sturdy crate. Easy to unbox, easy to install, straightforward instructions... and ready to use within an hour. And customer service was awesome when I called with a technical question. Love the tent, and the company is rock solid!

Item as described and much quicker shipping than expected. They offered free shipping which made me apprehensive. Usually that means some variation of USPS (innovation, dropship, take your pick of horrible options) that takes a month+ to get a package. They sent it via FedEx and I got a 20lbs package across the country faster than I got a shirt from a neighboring state through Nike. Will definitely order from them again just because I don’t have to wonder when the package will arrive without paying for additional shipping.Great experience!

The product itself seems to be very well built, cant wait to try it out. I am rating a 2 because it took forever to get and shipping was a nightmare, ended up in Chicago,not even in the right state, and sat there for days, then when it did ship no one seemed to know where it was, would probably not order from this company again, due to the shipping.

Normally I have had a great experience with Tuff Stuff and I have their Extreme Trailer and many accessories . But when one of my slides broke after one week of ownership , I ordered two replacement slides ( at my cost ). I understood that they were going to take a bit to get here ( China ) but after about 2 months I had to call to have them ship them to me. When arrived , I received 2 ( single sides) not 2 pairs of slides. I called a number of times but since the trailers are now part of Tribe Trailers, I went into a black hole with zero follow up, which is disappointing to say the least .

Great customer service! Answered questions and shipped the product in time for our trip. Excellent quality material and construction. We installed the Shade Awning above the entry door on the side of a 1958 13foot Canned Ham shaped trailer. We did need to do a little modification on the installation.

I was very pleased with Tuff Stuff Overland. They were upfront with some expected delays at time of purchase. They kept me informed of shipment status through the process. When my tent arrived damaged by carrier, I was able to speak with representative on phone and they started the replacement process immediately! I received my replacement via a different carrier about a week later in time for a already planned trip!! I cant wait to try the tent out!

Tent arrived damaged. Small rip in tent, bent rails, bent support members. After being on backorder and waiting, then to have it show up unusable is very disappointing. I know none of the shipping falls on tuffstuff, we'll see what the customer service is like for the exchange of my Elite.

Really pleased with tuff stuff service and their product! They got my tent to me well ahead of schedule. It was well packaged and delivered to my home. After comparing the product to many other popular tents I am even more excited with my alpha II tent. It appears as good if not better quality than other tents and had addition features the others didn’t (like built in interior and exterior lighting). Their CS team is super helpful should you have questions. I highly recommend this company! (Enjoying their awning as well).

Great company to work with. Had damaged merchandise,sent email about the issue and in less than 10 hrs a company representative handled the problem. Shipped out another item of the same purchase before I returned the damaged product. That's called trust and quick response time on Tuff Stuff Overland. Thank you

I have purchased over 10 items from Tuff Stuff Overland the last 6 months. I can say their tents are high quality and I have not had any problems.Hood lock kit - opened the first two times with JK key and now cannot open at all.Both flashlights - magnets coming off and cheap quality. Lumens stated not true Grab Handles - They are straight dangerous. Ripped during install Will not be purchasing cheap quality on “clearance” moving forward.Tuff Stuff should stick to selling great quality items for the outdoors.

I am giving 4 stars as I haven’t really used the tent just yet but the process of ordering and getting updates about the delivery were great. Also, everything I needed to mount it to my bed rack was included and fit as expected. I am excited to get out of the concrete jungle and put the Alpha II to the test.

Great Company with solid craftsmanship and detail. Very happy with my Alpha 2! Side note: Freight shipping company could be a different story, make sure to follow the shipment closely as you might need to make special plans when it arrives in the local area.

First ever rooftop tent so I don't have a great point of comparison but I do spent a fair amount of time outside and this thing is rad. I couldn't believe how much cheaper it was than other rooftop tents and it seems very durable. I've used it twice so far and been very pleased. It's easy to put and take down, even the initial assembly was pretty easy. In fact, the installation manual was fantastic. Color photos, clean diagrams, plus clear and concise constructions. Very much appreciated. I can't see what else I would want or get out of a tent from another brand that costs 50-100% more. Highly recommended.

Great RTT! After doing a lot of research we landed with the Alpha II. I defiantly prefer the hard shell vs soft, it makes the set up and tear down a breeze. The quality at this point seems good and we like the features this RTT offers. Compared to other RTT on the market the Alpha is offered at a great price point. If I had to make one suggestion, it would be to offer driver or passenger hinge points. We mounted on OGT E2 (Trailer), the Kitchen and awning our located on passenger side. Yes, it is mounted backwards!
