Is timberland.com Legit?

Shame I have to give any stars - DISGRACEFUL service.How long does it take for an American company to email a returns label for the UK. Currently I have waited a week. The one they originally mailed me is not accepted by any carrier here, and I have tried them all. Every time I contact Timberland they tell me they will be in touch in a few days, then say to email them a picture of the sandals, showing fault. I then tell them there is nothing wrong with them, apart from the fact they are too big. I will never order from timberland again even if they are giving things away. I don't think they could give a jot.

I bought some shoes for an upcoming winter trip. I used the sizing guide on the site to determine my size. It turned out to be pretty accurate and my feet are small so I got kids sized shoes. The shoes were comfortable and very stylish, and hopefully functional. Shipping to guam was $16 but luckily there was a $12 discount i found so.. yeah. It came in 6 days which was fast. I will dock a star because when I tried purchasing it the first time something was wrong with the site. I could go to all the categories except the kids shoes. It just wouldn't load and it was very frustrating. The next day the site finally started working.

Wish I would have read reviews on this site before purchasing. Placed an order of over £100 and still had to pay £4.95 for delivery. Anyhow, chased via email a number of times, customer service very unhelpful. Received order late and asked for my delivery fee back, but was only offered 10% off my next order. Asked for a manager to contact me and was ignored. NEVER going near this website again, even if they have a 99% of sale. Painful.

Have order a bunch of work clothes but have not received them or any confirmation emails on the order. Took my money easy enough has written 5 emails and tried the insta message but just getting robot reply. Awful customer service never buy online from them again. Frustrating to no end

For people buying items like this online, it serves you right. I've said it before and I'll say it again.. BUY FROM THE STORE!!The staff are trained about the product, fit, ability etc.. You get the correct shoes for YOU and not ones that you have seen a photograph of and expect them to fit. If there is an issue, you can walk in to the store and actually speak to someone and get it resolved.Web = BadStores = Good

It has been about a month and I have yet to receive my refund.

Only rated 1 as there isn’t a zero. Had some boots that weren’t suitable. Returned them with 30 as my statutory rights. Had an email to say received. Called after 3 weeks asking where refund is. They said they’d had them and would escalate to returns dept. Within the day got an email saying not received no refund due case closed. Tried to call again to be told take it up with my card payment company. PayPal have chased and said because it’s described as supplied they can’t do anything. Can’t find an address to write to a senior manager and you can’t talk to their uncountable customer complaints dept. What an arrogant disgraceful attitude from an international company

Bought new Windsor Chukka boot. Arrived to find that these had been worn already? Creases, scuff marks and obviously resent out after someone else returned. Disgraceful that a company charging high prices for footwear have no QA procedures and no conviction on issuing worn footwear. Expect more from Timberland.

Timberland. Your blue boots are the most uncomfortable shoes that l have ever worn in my life. They are hard as a rock inside. Never again!!!

Bought an expensive item, followed the washing instructions and it shrunk. Timberland customer service laid the fault 100% on me for washing the item. Don't buy unless you want to waste your money.

I bought my Timberlands on clearance because of price even though I didn't need them right away. I stored them in my closet in the packaging they came in. There is no warranty on their sale products. Here is what their customer service sent me after my boot heel started to breakaway. "It was determined by our Quality Control Team that this item has experienced something called hydrolysis. This is a natural and eventual chemical breakdown of the PU(Polyurethane) in the sole and is not due to a defect in manufacturing or materials used. Most often due to age of the item and being stored in a location such as a box or closet for a period of time. Can be accelerated by lack of ventilation and humidity." I will never buy TIMBERLAND again

Very uncomfortable, the tongue of the shoe has sharp edges that rub into your ankle. The shoe also leaves an itchy rash behind on your skin because of continuous rubbing. Poor quality, and bad designing. Won’t be buying Timberlands again any time soon.

I bought Timberland boots in late October for £108 on sale, originally priced at £155. But after less than three months, they started falling apart. It seems they're poorly made with cheap materials. I have had boots that have cost me £50 and lasted much longer. When I contacted Timberland about it, they refused to take responsibility and said nothing was wrong. Now I understand why they were on sale. I'd suggest avoiding Timberland and trying Solovair instead. They cost the same but last longer and can be repaired.

So timberland care contact centre are a complete waste of time and their fraud department who happily allowed yodel to deliver my parcel to the wrong door number and are allowing my payment provider to sort out the refund !!! How does that work !!! When it’s yodel who delivered to the wrong address on timberlands behalf ! Talk about let’s pass the buck !!! Really !18230256 Case number

I will not be purchasing from Timberland ever again especially shoes. I have not had them even 6 months and already the material is wearing away. I have contacted customer services and sent pictures and been informed by them it’s wear and tear and maybe the wrong size. Really??? The sad part is l purchased two pairs and have only wore one of them and cannot return the second pair.

Just received an email saying Timblerand were hacked and now my data could be used for fishing or fraud.No apology no nothing, message sent to purely cover their backside from a legal perspective.Another company that doesn't take their customer's data serriously

I know folk have had bad experiences but I want to say mine was excellent. I ordered 2 pairs of boots (same boot but different sizes) and they came 4 days later. I decided not to keep the boots so did the return online, dropped off at the collection store with the QR code and was refunded within a week.

I have been a life long Timberland fan having purchased at least 20 pairs over the last 30 years. Recently I had a pair of boots approx 4-5 years old where the bonding failed between the sole and the boot plus the intermediate layer between failed completely. This resulted is both soles fully detaching. I would just like to say these boots were in excellent condition prior to the failure (had been worn very little) had been stored correctly and that this has never happened to any of my other boots. I contacted Timberland and was basically fobbed off with an excuse re they were over 2 years old and they wouldn’t/couldn’t do anything. I argued the case with them, even providing photographs but nothing. What happened to this brand of quality footware? I am extremely disappointed with their response and total lack of customer service. Is it no longer fair to expect a premium product when you pay a premium price?

First set of Radstock boots were far too big, returned immediately. Over 6 weeks for a refund.2nd set arrived looking distinctly used. Contacted Timberland who suggested they are returned again; didn’t want to wait for another 6 weeks for a refund (no exchange option available). Really underwhelming response from customer service, 10% off and then no warranty.

Purchased a sweatshirt and after 1 wash (as per instructions) it was completely ruined with holes in it. Customer Support was really unpleasant - difficult to reach, decided we hadn't washed it properly and refused to compensate. With products so expensive I expected better service.
