Is summitbicycles.com Legit?

Our order experience lacked professional phone support, communication, and delivery follow-up. We purchased the bikes and requested delivery anytime after 4-5 days since we were out of town. We didn't receive any shipping information and called to see if the bikes would arrive by Memorial Weekend (10 days after purchase). We were given three different shipping dates. Although we were not in a rush, we needed to know if we needed to stay in town to sign for the delivery.The online number never answered, and when we called a physical store for information, one employee hung up on us. Eventually, we received a label update from UPS, and the bikes shipped 4 days later. Please communicate if delivery dates change.Train your staff to answer questions or pass the phone to someone who can. We never heard back from a manager despite emails and calls.

Worst shopping experience ever. I made an online purchase. I was giving a ship by date at purchase, only 1 item of the 3 arrived on time and had a tracking number. Other items arrives randomly and separately about 7 days late with no tracking numbers or email communications. Customer service is rude and unprofessional. Managers are hard to reach. Most importantly please read their return policy. If you buy something on sale, or with a discount code, you can no longer return it. What?! They don't let you know that when you are buying online. You will need find that small and almost hidden button on the bottom of the page that says return policy to find out. I buy things on sale from other places and I have never been denied return because I bought something on sale, unless i was clearly warned before purchase.

I tried to return an item with their "no questions asked" return policy. They confirmed that they received the return and the refund still has not been issued about 2 weeks later. There is no given email address on their website and attempting to contact them has proven impossible.

Terrible customer service!! Ordered a $1099 bike from them on September 3rd, 2020.The charged my credit card but STILL haven't delivered my bike. THIS IS DECEMBER. They have given me no update on when the bike would be shipped as of December 15th. I've emailed several times, checked their website (as directed when you call their customer service line), and called, leaving voicemails with absolutely NO response. All I want at this point is my order cancelled and my card refunded. This is totally a scam website. Legit, there is no reason for this. COVID is no excuse. Very unhappy and feel totally scammed.

I ordered a medium Fizik saddle pack (order no. 081612-082119-343) back in August and received a small pack.. I e-mailed the company and followed up with a phone call. The salesperson apologized for the mistake and said they would sent out another pack. As of today, Sept. 29th, I still have not received the medium pack. It has almost been two months since I have placed my order and I have yet to receive my Bontrager Satellite Fenders that I ordered. I called two weeks ago twice, one leaving a voice mail to the online service rep explaining the problem and another talking to one of the local stores and they said that they would try to work and out and I have yet to heard back from either of them.

They suck. I ordered parts from them. They are the wrong parts. I need to return them but have left numerous voicemails and sent numerous emails with no response. Avoid them at all cost.

I have ordered several items and received them much sooner than expected. The price is right and a lot less than what you would pay at a local store. Further, there is a lot more variety of choices than at your local bike shop. I returned a helmet because it didnt fit me well and got a replacement without any questions. I will definitely continue buying from this store.

I placed my order and received no communication other than receipt of my order until Trek contacted me directly informing me that they had mixed up my order with an order meant for a store in Napa. To make a long story short, Tonja, the representative at Trek was very friendly and helpful in getting this straightened out. Throughout all of the confusion, Summit Bicycles didn't contact me once. In fact, I was quite surprised to see a packing slip with Summit Bicycles logo on it, as I had gotten the impression that they weren't involved in the process. As far as good points, They did have the best prices for my items, and the items I ultimately received were exactly as ordered. Given the choice, I would probably try to order directly from Trek next time.

My experience with Summit Bicycles was excellent. The price was equal to or less than other places I checked out, the checkout experience was fine, and I received the product in less than a week. I am used to having to wait a week to 10 days for "Free Shipping" deliveries, so I was surprised to see my bike rack arrive Thursday on a Monday purchase. Thanks for the excellent service, Summit!

I ordered a set of tires via Summit, as Trek (and every where in my neighborhood) was out of stock of the particular make/model/size I needed. The free shipping sealed the deal and price was less than I would have paid at my local shop. Unfortunately, I never received the original shipment, but through timely, friendly, and professional communication (with Robert), a more than favorable resolution was reached. I received a new shipment in a timely manner and would more more than happy to order from them again.

I have no idea what's going on with the negative experience reviews. I had some difficulty with the website ordering and was able to get someone on the phone by engaging with the chat window on the website. They resolved the issue, confirmed the bike I wanted was in stock and I had it delivered to my door, for free, within a week. Great experience.

Summit's prices are very reasonable and lower than many of their competitors. The website is really easy to navigate and includes information on the products. The shipment came within a few days of the order. I will definitely online shop at Summit again.

summitbicyles is a great company,they sent my streamers very fast and no shipping fee......these are electra leather streamers,they fit right into the end of the handlebar grips.they make my scooter look so cool.i will order from this company again......

I ordered a product two weeks ago. I've been trying to communicate to get the status of my order but it's been imposible to get a hold on them. I am afraid this is a scam. please be careful

Robert (San Jose) was especially helpful in my choice of replacement bicycle tire, offering factual bases for his suggestions. He also matched a competitor's pricing. Not a bad pair of desirable features in a vendor!

The product that I was interested in was not in available for when I needed it. Rob was able to put me into a better product (Garmin Edge 500) that ultimately is a product that better fit my needs. The package was shipped coast to coast in two days. This let me use the product sooner than anticipated. It's refreshing to have service like this. I highly recomend this shop to all my ridding biddies. Thanks!!!

I can't even express enough how I am satisfied with Summit bicycles' help! Their customer support is outstanding. I was ordering a bike as a gift for my husband's bday, and need it to be shipped to LA. Chris helped me with that order and shipping so I could get the bike when I need it! The whole process went smoothly I didn't have to think about it or worry. I am really amazed by that kindness. If I could give them 100 stars review, I would :D Thank you!

My order came in 2 days! I called in with some questions and found they have a super fast super helpful staff. They were a pleasure to work with on the phone and the on line service was great... These guys had a just released Bontrager Interchange ANT+ Speed Sensors in stock... and everything else I needed. A great experience I will absolutely use these guys again! And the free shipping was just great! I highly recommend Summit Bicycles!! Thanks!!

While the price and product is great it took 2 wks. just for my order to get processed and shipped…..and that was AFTER I had to call their customer service voicemail. Will not be ordering from here again.
