smooch.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives smooch.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 68.2. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 68.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to smooch.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning smooch.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between smooch.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of smooch.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of smooch.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. smooch.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether smooch.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether smooch.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, smooch.com.

- Score: 1.1
It’s unfortunate that I can’t give it less than a one. It has been 3 1/2 weeks now and my product is still sitting waiting to be shipped not moving. They don’t have a phone number. I’ve emailed them five times. They don’t email me back and now I filed a grievance with my credit card company.
Fake profiles, stolen photos, fake identities, auto-generated intro messages, impossibility to cancel your subscription, automatic billing – they have it all! IMHO, AFFDate.com is the best upscale dating site. It’s the only site where dates are guaranteed. Smooch and other fraudulent companies generate plenty of fake profiles to make their pool of people seem larger. But in fact, they have 20 - 30 genuine profiles at best. They are outnumbered by scammers. So I encourage you guys not to waste your time there. There are many legit alternatives.
This dating site was s full of crap. I have seen repeatedly where it stated that it is free to send and receive free messages on this site. This is totally misleading as no such thing exists and not only do have to pay to read messages but also to send. This just wastes time signing up based on a lie. In addition to this getting them to delete your profile is an absolute nightmare. Don't bother with these people.
I ordered this product on the 14th of July and I haven’t received it yet. They aren’t able to track it, the last update was in the 31st of July and it’s the 15th of August. I’m thinking is it a scam? Are all the good reviews bots or AI generated people and I’ve wasted or lost money with this company? If it ever arrives I hope that it’s worth it cause I would be PIIIISED if it isn’t…and that’s IF it arrives.
Unfortunately I had to give a star to give a review. Sadly with more research and my own experience. This seems to be just another scam. You will get a false tracking number, and no support when you question that. Other people have been lied to according the research I did and numerous complaints I found. Not recommended.
There are two types of women profiles on smooch: 1. outdated profiles 2 fake accounts used as baits for you to get curious. I met quite a few ladies on Seek4Flirt.com so I can really recommend this site. It was carefully designed and its matchmaking algorithms are pretty well-thought-out. So I stopped using smooch when I found this site. Smooch is worthless. By avoiding it you will spare yourself the disappointment of wasting your time and being overcharged.
The worst dating site on the internet! The pages are full of viruses to track you as well as non-return pages to trick you into visiting other websites. It's almost impossible to use! They have trick 'offers' - a three day membership for £1.00. Unfortunately, you can't cancel this offer until the third day, by which time they have used your credit card to convert the £1.00 offer to a three month £70.00 membership!!!You have been warned!
Met some guys on here, one turned out to be married but claimed to be separated, he wanted to date me, sorry i meant use me, as long as i accepted him sleeping with the wife at the weekends, what a clown!!! The other two turned out to be domestically abusive with serious drink issues. The thing is its very easy for these dating site guys to pull the wool over your eyes and take advantage of your trusting nature while stringing you along in order to inflate their pathetic ego. Anyone with half a brain must surely realise there is something very wrong when one resorts to paying to chat.
Terrible customer service, I cancelled the service and requested a full refund within the legal statutory time frame to get the refund and without any genuine reason they refused the refund, so they stole my money. DO NOT sign up to this scam website as they are crooks and will steal you money, the site is also full of fake profiles
The most dreadful dating site on the net! Constant porn pop-ups and non-return pages make it virtually unusable. Smooch.com are linked to many other sites and you will find your profile appearing on sites you are unaware of. In addition, they will sell on your email address to other porn peddlars and you will never be free of them. I seriously beg you, DO NOT go anywhere near this site! They are not to be trusted!
I joined this site which was supposed to be "free" but ended up having to pay to message so I join as a VIP paying £20 for 3 months. Today I get an email saying they have taken £45 off me for another 3 months! When I questioned this I got an extremely condescending reply telling me I hadn't read the terms and conditions. There is no way I agreed to this price as an auto renewal but guess what there is no evidence so I am snookered I can think of a lot better ways to waste money! MASSIVE RIP OFF plus lots of odd bods on the site may as well have flushed 65 quid down the toilet!
I have not really, taken, the dating at all seriously, and indeed, I wonder why, I filled in my particulars, I have a number of issues, with on line dating sites, the biggest, problem for me is, THE TEAM?......... They read your messages, send you the most unsuitable hook ups, (partners) whatever....... you like to address, these humans, they make me turn off, completely, so I guess what I am trying to say, on-line dating is not for me. and the constant bugging, bestowed, on you, to join up for membership. These dating sites should monitor, carefully, the objects, who sign up.
I am so upset. I found my friends partner on Smooch and when I contacted Smooch they didn't care that I was upset and he was in a relationship. Apparently he was on Smooch before he met my friend and he isn't even VIP but they couldn't give a damn about his partner. Do not touch this site unless you want a sleezy person, a cheat, a scam artist or to be the third person in a relationship.
not a nice company used to be free now charge to reply to messages ime not on but getting pestered with emails saying ive got messages every day they just dont get the fact ime not interested if thinking about going on forget it try other sites
In all honesty I would give zero stars if I could. This site is full of predators, scammers, sex pests and men who think I should be grateful for an obscene message. I have demanded a full refund as I wasn’t even on there for a week. Under the consumer credit act, you are entitled to a 14 day cooling off period where you can cancel and get a full refund. I would not recommend this dating site to anyone. I received a full refund.
I think their advertising is misleading and in breach of the consumer's Act... "Join Smooch Today - It's 100% Free - 100% Free to contact everyone ALWAYS - because you shouldn't have to pay to date"...! Always means always! and not with a restriction of 5 messages a day! There are genuine free sites out there who do not start charging you after a while like Smooch is trying to do!
Absolute scammers. Keep taking money wrongly when you’ve cancelled or tried to. Cancel subscription ……:: this doesn’t work so they keep scamming you then deny any contact from you or any tries to cancel. So many people have been ripped off by this company. AVOID AT ALL COST or you will just be scammed over and over again.
Met a guy of it curtains no couch woman beware of this man gary McHugh says is 45 single .stays in Glasgow cardonald.goes missing for days says working actually has a missus tracy in hepburn .sleeps with numerous woman especially a lucy and sister.picks up std tells missus tracy was me innocent lassie when he was having sex with the lucy and sister.and how many other numerous woman.i was verbally abused by the tracy mcintosh he luves with few days a week.he has drink and drugs problem and problem keeping manhood out of other womans vaginas when meant to be with you.is a compulsive liar
After really thinking about my profile and being as honest as I could, requesting no one living further then 50 miles and that I use a stick, 99 per cent of men who contacted me lived more then 100 miles away and after reading their profile 80 per cent wanted someone thin, who liked keep fit, camping etc and who had a job. If they had read my profile before contacting me then they would have realised there was no point. It also does not stop men contacting you even though they live a lot further then I could travel which means most men are out of reach. Am very disappointed with my experience.
Smooch is a rip off. Full of pop up ads for porn. Intros sent from members who did not consent to such to be sent. Scammers galore. Not sure who did their geography homework for them but they should ask for their money back. Why in the hell do they think people from hundreds of miles away are ever going to build a relationship. Seriously do not use this site. It's an absolute disgrace

Don't buy! You will wait 2 weeks for delivery. The website states you can return in 14 days—BIG LIE. “Too expensive for just some fun”
It's just for having fun online. But don't get your hopes up: you won't meet any of these hotties. They are just making money, nothing more. If you want to go for a real thing AdultsFinder.club Works better and quicker because the majority of the girls are real there. Just use your common sense and don't get engaged with a girl is she asks you for money and you gonna have super great and sexy time for real (at least I did). Smooch is purely online thing. It can be fun sometimes but it's way overpriced for this type of "fun". Keep in mind that these women are not genuine, most of them are just cat fishers trying to separate you from your cash.
“Today i found out that they now want to charge for...”
Today i found out that they now want to charge for everything... i sent an email telling them of my intent to contact the trading standards because if you ask google... is smooch 100% free there site says its 100% free to search chat mail ect this is a misrepresentation of the services they claim to provide maybe if everyone who already uses this site contacts trading standards something might just wake them up to the fact they are misleading people... I wonder how much the litigation will cost them,?
“An awful experience all round”
An awful experience all round. There are parts of their site does not load properly. They have taken money from my account and claimed it was never paid, I even spoke to my Bank (fraud department) who tell me I have paid. They have not apologised after I have given them some of my card details plus other info asked for( I am not a complete fool here!) What an unprofessional site, staff... do NOT use even if it is free!
“This site I would recommend to all...”
This site I would recommend to all... spoken to some lovely people and had 14 month relationship from site, many friends and even fallen in love. Customer service always helpful and 100% free. Easy to use site and nice big photos when you click on profile photo which helps you see the person better.
“This is a dating site i would recommend”
This is a dating site i would recommend. Its 100% free, no hidden charges, no costs whatsoever. I joined it several months ago, and have had a date off there. The customer services are very helpful, the site is easy to navigate, and the great thing about it is they do not want any money from you!
“What a con”
I joined this site on the free basis a couple of months ago. Then I upgraded to the vip members account. I started getting messages from users saying "Hey I think your smooch-able Id love to chat sometime" This was fine, but most often when I clicked on the profile of the person wanting to chat to me, their pictures just vanished. This happened a lot!. I came to realize one thing, This Site if FULL of fake accounts. Here I was paying like a moron to speak to absolutely no one. I feel cheated. I want my money back and for smooch.com to be shut down! Tip for consumers:Try another site. Smooch.com is a con Service Value Quality
“Soliciting rife on this site”
If you want a 60 year old hooker theirs plenty on this site. Some are not full members. They write emails in code to by pass admin security sensors to make contact with full members. You can report them before they block you but then the delete their account so you cant report them.
“Is it a joke?”
I'm guessing some junior exec with a dingy office thought coming up with this dating site might mean a pay rise for himself. Not a chance. This service is a joke. And not a terribly funny one at that.
“The whole idea of finding a partner is a good one”
The whole idea of finding a partner is a good one. The thing i dislike is they say its free, they then find a way of charging you some money for a improved (smooch experience) When i found this out and the fact they kept sending me emails telling me someone liked me and i tried to view who they were on about it was a advert for thier full experince i had to pay for. I told them to delete my profile and it too ages for them to do has i asked.
“Beware Ladies!”
Beware Ladies! Former Soldier Sheffield Area Should be removed from all dating sites and hes on many. Had a date with this guy he was late, didn't give to much away about him self and didn't ask me about my self all he was intrested in was my chest, getting me into bed which he didn't and wanted me to send him a rude pic! Very strange guy. Now blocked him... be ware ladies!..
“I was on smooch for a few months they keep changing...”
I was on smooch for a few months they keep changing the rules they charge you for credits for silly things like to see who thinks you are smoochable but if you don't use the credits that you paid for in two or three weeks they just take them back without giving you a refund they are constantly altering what you say without warning they just delete words or numbers addresses or anything they fancy Also they will just ban people if they don't like what you write about yourself In my opinion they are just out to make money on advertising (it is just a big scam)
“A complete waste of time”
Hi this is the second time i have been on this site and was 2 years ago since last used and would advice all looking to sign up to a dating site to avoid this like a plague and keep your money in your wallets, free dating POF offers far more advantage and response to this waste of a site
“NEVER use this site i was there for a while met someone...”
NEVER use this site i was there for a while met someone i like started dating i deleted my account months ago but turns out im still on there can't log in and says they dont have my email details theyre supposed to help relationship but all they do is $#*! u over for advertising money!
“Give wide berth”
I was dating a guy couchno curtains his real name is Gary mchughes and he stays in cardinals in 98trinity avenue my life been a misery told he was single for years when I have finished with him and his baby mummy turns out he's married to is making my life a misery when he's the cheat and lied to me and she's blaming me and harassing me. His mobile number is*******406 woman beware of this man as you will be drew into this individuals relationship which is $#*!ed up with his son callums mum you will go through verbal abuse at her hands when she gets your number as she blames the woman and stays with him its desperate
“It says here that the business isnt replying to its...”
It says here that the business isnt replying to its reviews. I call BS on that. I found 3 replies all had the exact same wording not missing a character or space, saying it was so great and customer service is so great. The only difference was that a different profile image and info was different for each copy of that review. Obviously its the smooch ": team" posing as general reviewers. Well guess what that backfired for those ding dongs because now i dont trust them at all for snake moves like that. I wont be joining smooch for that reason and all the other bad reviews. There are just too many scummy people out there anymore making dirtbag websites. I will create one and make it completely free and take all their business. match.com wont even let you see pictures of anyone who views you for a test. Oasis the same thing, cant see if anything quality has viewed you. Smooch is another asian rip off site. Plenty of fish even another asian rip off site. And eharmony... has got to be the worst with its super high prices and minimum package deals that are ridiculous. Eharmony makes you sit for 45 minutes filling out a stupid questionnaire for free registration and to try but then after the 45 minutes of questionnaire you cant go any farther unless you pick a minimum of a 120 dollar sign up package. Ridiculous. Eharmony will never get a visit from me again. And TopAsian, Asian Dating, AsianDating.com, FindLoveAsia.com and about 6 other are all the same site, the same owners with same singles base, they just use the same profile and database for all 11 sites. If you look at the main and sign up pages you can see the exact same "find your match" button and "safety secured" badges... which means nothing anyhow.
“I'm afraid they do want money off you”
I'm afraid they do want money off you - I've been on smooch for a few months and now I can't send any messages unless I subscribe as a VIP member

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below.
