Is sipwhiskey.com Legit?

worst experience ever with a retailer. i ordered two bottles of whisky a month ago, and it still hasnt arrived. I asked for a refund and they said they would have to charge me $25, For what, not sending my order costs them $25. Just horrible. I would recommend Wooden Cork instead

Ordered some Mezcal a few weeks back and they have yet to ship. Upon inquiring they say that they take up to 10 business days - but what becomes clear later is that they don't have the items at all and they have a $25 cancellation fee. Needless to say I'm disputing the charges and never doing business with these clowns again.

I ordered wild turkey 12 year I Never got product. They always gave same answer next week we are shipping orders next week never came still no product I had to file fraud claim with my bank Don’t Trust them Buyers beware!!

Ordered 2 bottles. Received one. Charged for 2. Customer service never returns calls/emails. Will never order again. It's sad, because what I ordered was for my father's retirement present. Please do not use this company.

I was drunk at a bar with my parents, my dad mentioned a favorite, yet hard-to-get whiskey. I drunkenly snuck my phone out, googled it, saw it available on sip whiskey’s website, accidentally bought 2 bottles ($200 each and meant to buy one) for my dad’s upcoming birthday. The next day, while hungover, I checked the ratings of sip whiskey and thought I just lost $400. I was just gonna consider it a win if I even saw the bottles eventually and didn’t think they would be delivered for weeks, if at all. Four days later they appeared on my doorstep. Thank you for a stellar birthday gift for my dad!

SCAM. As others have said they offer product they do not have at attractive prices. Once you place the order, a shipping label is created, they state that your order has been fulfilled so a refund is not possible. I waited a month for actual fulfillment and it never came. My cc refunded immediately. CABC will do nothing. Perhaps the Cal AG has a fraud desk. It's my next stop.

Ordered product. Product shipped within specified time frame. Product arrived in excellent condition. Packed very well to comphensate for any possible damage during shipping. Very impressed with all the skepticism I have read on social media about issues shipping, broken bottles, time delays and difficutly dealing with the company. As far as I'm concerned I will be ordering more from Sip Whiskey no matter what other names they promote under to run their business. It's not 'shifty'... it's smart business. Hat's off Sip Whiskey. A+

These people are FLAT OUT SCAMMERS! there is no difference between Sip Whiskey and someone calling you on the phone asking for your credit card number. They just disguise it under the false pretense that they actually sell whiskey. They will take your order, take your money, never ship and never communicate again.

SCAM!! I have NEVER been scammed like this before. I placed an order and it never shipped!! Tried to cancel before a label was even created and had to wait for an approval. This company needs to have a formal complaint filed. I already filed a complaint with the BBB!

These folks are crooks and have never heard the term customer service in their life. If the btl actually gets to you then congrats you got off lucky. Should anything happen due to their negligent, nonexistent packaging, then enjoy your broken/destroyed btls. Once they collect their money they couldn't care less what happens afterward.

My first order with this company went smoothly. The second order has been a disaster. I kept sending emails on when my order would ship. I kept getting an email giving me an UPS number, but when clicking that link UPS says the package was never transferred to them. After my last couple of messages to them went unanswered, I just filed a claim with my credit card company.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Pathetic customer service; Never returns call, emails, and senseless unresponsive bot. Placed order over a month ago, paid in full, and haven't received a single courtesy response. Time to involve Federal Law Enforcement. Avoid Sip Whiskey at all cost.

Exactly what I ordered, quickly. After reading some of the negative reviews I became concerned. I contacted them on chat and was connected immediately to a rep. He assured me my order was being filled and would ship quickly. IT DID! I love Writers Tears Whiskey, they have it! I definitely recommend this site to get rare and wonderful things. Amazing company!

Zero should be a thing still waiting for ups to get package what a joke shop elsewhere asked for a refund was told there was a pretty steep restocking fee HOW CAN YOU CHARGE RESTOCK IF IT NEVER LEFT YOUR STORE crooked company

I ordered a Father's Day gift on May 6. After endless excuses and emails the order did finally arrive June 11. The gift was a custom-engraved bottle of bourbon which arrived with the engraving done incorrectly and a 2 pack of snifters that were sold as a "boxed gift pack" but arrived without a box, wrapped in bubble wrap. This company is a nightmare to communicate with and cannot be trusted to deliver orders. Save your money and the headache and do business elsewhere.

If you are ordering a limited edition product or pre-order, do it elsewhere...They were unable to collect my payment as they were trying to collect more than the original amount authorized... and never reached out to me to let me know there was an issue. So I missed out on a limited edition product. Very disappointing.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. It is absolutely unbelievable how long it takes for this company to fill an order and get it shipped. I placed my order of two bottles of liquor on June 28 and it's now July 9 and it STILL has not shipped. This business is not functioning. Mind you, I was of course charged when my order was placed. Customer service did respond and simply sited "low staffing" which at this point in life is unacceptable. I'll never order from this business again.
