simons.ca Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives simons.ca one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 90.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 90.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to simons.ca's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning simons.ca, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between simons.ca and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of simons.ca. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of simons.ca, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. simons.ca is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether simons.ca has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether simons.ca boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, simons.ca.

“Had to get an exchange to a larger size.”
Terrible service they were suppose to send us a large but didn't and now says they are out of stock so my father in law is without his Christmas gift I will never order from here again. I would give 0 rating if I could. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“After many weeks still no package, but what is worse still no response from customer service”
I ordered a package many weeks ago. They shipped it quickly but it has been lost for weeks in Canada Post nevI have tried contacting the merchant through email, there website, paypal and trusted reviews. After over a week not so much as a response or acknowledgement of my email or issue. Service Value Shipping
“The whole men's department is filled with pompous skinny 20 somethings with a bad attitude”
The only older person I seen working in the store is the cleaners and the people doing alterations. The store at square one is filled with 20 something with attitudes. God forbid if you are in your 40-50 and looking for clothing that is for average people this is not the place. Perhaps Simons should consider hiring more people of an average size without the attitude. I wonder if they have a human resource department. Looks like age discrimination to me.
“Poor shipping communication”
One email confirmation of 9rder placed and then 4 weeks later an email that says shipped. I'm gonna need more updates than that, especially when most companies ship the day after you place an order. It took Simon's like 2 weeks to process my order. Service Value Shipping
“Wonderful company”
Great experience with Simons over several years now. They have beautiful products and many to choose from. The fabrics are the main advantage to me, as I shop their vision line which includes products made from Organic cotton and other natural fabrics. These clothes are reasonably priced too, which is great. The only thing is that they don't have large sizes- usually up to XL for most products. But recently I was able to find some beautiful things size 2X/XXL which is wonderful. I hope they'll keep adding larger sizes. Then I won't have to shop anywhere else. Products used:shirts, officewear, loungewear
“Awesome service and product quality”
I recently purchased a hot-water bottle at a local pharmacy for full price but after about 2 months, it leaked and broke. So I found one at Simons online and to my surprise, it was of better quality and it came with its cover. I received it by mail and was so happy, I purchased a second one. Loved it and extremely happy with it. I always thought it was an expensive store to shop at but went to the Square One location also and was pleasantly surprised to get some nice deals. Bought some accessories and they were of better quality than Claire's and cheaper too. So, totally worth shopping here.
“Meh”
Customer service is lacking in my opinion. I worked in a simons store for a while and I found that many of the employees ignored the customers and didn't provide much assistance. The products in the store are a good quality and provides customers a varied price range from $20 dresses to dresses over $1000. The store is HUGE! And might be a little confusing to first time shoppers. They have a great return policy as well and the site is super simple to figure out. A problem I had was some of the employees would talk in their language (not english) and have their own conversations with other employees in front of the customers! I have nothing against them but to me it was rude and unprofessional.
“Not sure what happened, service seems to be going downhill, used to be good”
A couple years ago, I ordered some items and the service was great. This year was a bad experience. I purchased a couple of throw blankets along with a late birthday gift for my girlfriend. I ordered a sweater for her since it was on sale for a good price, and then after my order was processed and reviewed they took off the sweater on the email notice that I got. They should have just not had that out of stock item on their site. It's so frustrating, also I reminded them that I needed a gift box for the order, and when they replied they said I would be getting it for sure, guess what I got my order and there was no gift box or gift wrap, even though on the slip with my purchases it said it would have 1. The first year I ordered from them the customer service was great and the gift boxes were sent and listed on the slip. This year I'm having second thoughts about ordering from them again. Tip for consumers:Beware, items that you think you are purchasing might actually be out of stock even if it's on their website. Products used:Blankets Service Value Shipping Quality

It's super fast, convenient, reliable, and they'll give you your money back, no questions asked, if you are unhappy with your purchase (sizing, colour, whatever the reason...) I GIVE IT FIVE STARS! “Good quality merchandise”
I have been ordering from Simons online for a few years now and have bought clothes and jewelry from them. Everything is good quality and arrives quickly. I recently ordered camisoles from them and they fit perfectly. I highly recommend them.
“Great company!”
I have ordered from them before but never thought to leave a review. I ordered a BRAIDED SEAGRASS STOOL and not only was it delivered in 2 days by a decent courier it's beautiful. The price was affordable too.
“Horrible policy, discriminating”
I did bring my mum for shopping which she can't speak English, she wanted to try some clothes but the sales person asked me please go out of the changing area, I felt very bad, she said it's the company policy that MEN are not allowed here! So becouse of their policy I told the lady I won't let my mum or my wife buy anything from your store and this was the last time I walked in the Simons, it looks like they think it's a Muslim country!
“Excellent services all the way, all the time!”
Even in the middle of the coronavirus crisis, Simons has an excellent service! If you have to return something, NO problem! That's a company that says to its employees: « the client is king »!
“Christmas disaster!”
I'm second year of another victim during Christmas season. What I was thinking! DONT BOTHER to buy online from them, go to Hudson Bay or Winners or Amazon, pay little bit extra but you know that all your gifts are going to be wrapped 2,3 weeks before so you can enjoy socializing with your friends instead running around to get last minute gifts. Ordered three items online Dec 02 and Dec 03. They use unreliable, government provider, Canada Post. Delivery supposed to be Dec 06 and Dec 10. Unfortunately I didn't receive it yet! Called Canada Post they told me to contact Simons so I did. Simons told me to contact CP. Looks like everyone is picking nose and know one knows what's going on. My suggestion to you Simons, stop using CP, use independent companies like Fedex or others. This looks bad on you that department who is responsible for delivery provider, can't do homework and get rid off CP and not only that but you are loosing lots of business what make you sell for cheaper because of your markdowns. Bad marketing! I already replaced all the stuff I bought online from you so as soon as I get the delivery, everything will go back to your store. Last night want to buy online one more thing but I decided to buy from Hudson Bay. And one more thing, from now on if I buy anything online, I'll do my homework, who is the delivery provider.
“Not flexible shipping options”
I do all my shopping online due to the raging pandemic (omnicron), even my groceries. I'm at higher risk to end up in the ICU and I want to spend as little time as possible out in public spaces. I recently placed an online order with Simons. I wasn't able to manually update that I'm okay with the package being "safe dropped" outside my door. I live in a safe neighborhood with houses and there's never any thefts of parcels around here. I'm sure we have all experienced mail delivery companies not even attempting to delivering parcels, just throwing the notice-for-pickup on the door and then leaving. This happened with my order from Simons despite both me and my husband working from home. To my surprise, Simons have some really strange agreement with Canada Post that won't even allow me so send someone else to the post office to pick up the parcel. I emailed Simons and suggested that perhaps they should allow customers to choose to have their package "safe dropped" if they want, given it's a raging pandemic. They basically replied that they agreed it would be safer for customers if they'd allow safe-drop, but that it was more important to them that customers in appartment complexes would be able to recieve their parcels safely. In other words, Simons doesn't want to take responsibility for lost goods, at the expense of their customers personal safety during a pandemic. It is safe to say, I won't be shopping anything else from Simons as long as they cannot get more flexible and cater to our needs (like literally every other online e-commerce site does). Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Spoiled meats”
I used to love shopping there, because the prices were affordable. However, the meats are not always fresh.
“Terrible company”
Would never shop with Simons ever they are a terrible company! This company is a disgrace to Canada and what we stand for!

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
