silver.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives silver.com a medium-high trust score on the platform: 72. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 72 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to silver.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning silver.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between silver.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of silver.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of silver.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. silver.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether silver.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether silver.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, silver.com.

Ordered a item beginning of Dec 23 for a Xmas present. Did not receive the item until sometime in January. Site I ordered from told me to contact silversal . I did explaining need for return due to not receiving for Xmas . No one has returned a message.
I never received the product and then they used their disclaimer saying I missed the time to report not receiving it even though they have the tracking info too. I missed it by two days as it was the holiday season and packages usually take a little longer to receive during this period. I had ordered quite a few products from them before this happened. Obviously, they don't care about their customers. There is an open case with USPS but I highly doubt I will receive my product.
Have placed 2 substantial silver orders with silver.com. They were great to communicate with me by email on receiving my order, when it shipped & when it should arrive. I also paid by bank wire to avoid any chance of check being lost. Highly recommend using that method of payment. Product & packaging; very nice quality. Will not hesitate to order from them again!
Bought a light from this comapany and it's dreadful quality. Won't even stay on overnight despite a full days charge.Contacted them to request a return as per their 30 day return policy (which has since been change to 14 day on website after return was requested)Was refused a return and offered a $3 refund on a $33 item. They have also removed my account from their website.Definate thieving scammers. Avoid! Do Not Trust!
I have bought from Silver.com numerous times over the years. Their products are good quality, represent excellent value and come well packaged. Their customer service is first class too. Just recently I returned a broken bracelet and had expected to pay for the repair myself, however they replaced it free of charge - I was blown away. I really, really rate them.
Bought 3 10oz. silver bars over the years from them and was pretty satisfied with the time of delivery, condition of the product and the ease of doing business. To be honest, I haven’t look deeply at their prices compared to other sites. Just surprised at their bad ratings here, so I’m putting in my 2 cents.
Silver.com, you have got to be kidding. And all those other associated odd ball companies located in Dallas Texas.Had an order strung along for THREE DAYS, no action at all. Really poor service, in fact none at all.I certainly will not do business here.
I would not do business with them. After sending a check first class (with tracking) a day after I placed the order they did not honor my order since it did not arrive in time with the holiday mail. Had the price of silver gone down during this time I am sure they would have accepted my check. I will not do business with them in the future.
Horrible!! I ordered some coins from them back on 3/28. The shipped them out but apparently the address was wrong and got shipped back to them, took them about a week to resend my order, but once again the address was messed up and it was sent back. I had talked to two different people who said I would get my refund back and here I am still waiting on the refund. There are waaaay better places to order from! Never again would I ever consider this place, it's absolutely ridiculous.
These guys "lost" my check after silver went up after my order how convenient right? Check reviews I am not the only one this is happening to. Plus service is terrible and the refused to let me pay by credit card. If you like your money keep it sd far away from these crooks as possible
Within 2 weeks I ordered twice and both times I sent a check to keep from paying additional 4%. Both checks were over 3k each. The second check was processed before the 1st check. The silver is being sent USPS. Really, silver.com use to send UPS. I live in a rural area and postal workers are 1099 employees who use their own vehicles and they change weekly. I continue to get other peoples mail, and much of my mail never shows up. Buy from other companies who use a secure UPS service. If these shipments go missing \, do you really believe that Silver.com will replace them without a long drawn out that I have to prove not delivered?
On 3/16 I placed an order with Silver.com. For 4 weeks I did not heard from their team. I contacted their customer service a couple of times inquiring information about my order. The company responded that they have part of my order and are not sure when they'll receive additional quantity of that same product and be able to ship. Also, it was mentioned that once the product is available, orders would be fulfilled in order of receiving (I am hopping that I'm on top of their list, as they have partially my order). At this point, I am very disappointed and wondering will my order be fulfilled at all and when. Also, why the company is not responding with information to customers with open orders for more than 5 weeks, and is being very vague about information related to deliveries.
Waste of money and time. Silver is a waste of money and time. Silver allows many scammers to steal your HOPES. They purposefully send you fictious people.
Two orders for silver bars (100 oz) shipped by ups. First UPS order simply dumped on my doorstep, no signature asked for. $3000 silver bar on my doorstep no signature. Second order shipped by UPS. I wasn't home, so UPS held onto it. Because of silver.com policy I can't simply have it held at the customer center for pickup. NOOOOOOO!!!! I called and asked them... They refused! Hey guys, I WORK FOR A LIVING and long hours at that. Should I have one of my 3 cats sign for it?! When I'm not home for the next two delivery attempts it gets shipped back to Silver.com. One would hope they'd come up with a better method of getting merchandise to customers.Don't use these guys. You'll be tearing your hair out. And I for one don't have much hair left.
I placed a 2-coin trial order and was not disappointed. It arrived within 10 days including check clearing in mint condition in a flip pack.Warning!: UPS In San Diego, CA will not obtain a required signature. UPS dispatch told me on 6/12/21 their drivers are told not to interact with customers.Even when you make visually contact with a driver, he/she will typically self-enter that the delivery was verified. Bull. This is not acceptable. A person under 18 could be watching TV and the driver will state that he heard someone home. How is this proof of delivery. Only a signature is proof positive a delivery was made. Porch piracy is widespread. A package left unattended is a hot target for thieves. UPS has no tangible proof of delivery which should raise a red flag to all parties to a transaction.3 recent deliveries for $1000s and not one signature. I placed a large sign on my door stating: Occupant home, please knock or ring door bell. What's more, the label at bottom states: Signature Required. The UPS drivers were unmoved.Shippers are paying for signature verification and getting nothing for their money (between $5 and $7 2021). If businesses and consumers would insist UPS do their job, this situation will improve.Possibly safer to go with the Postal Service. At least the same delivery person appears regularly so one knows who they're dealing with. If the carrier is remiss obtaining a signature, just speak to them about it. I've had great success reasoning with mine.
Proceed with caution.I placed an order for tens of thousands of USD for gold bullions last Thursday. The money order was confirmed on Friday and I received notice that a shipping label was created. After 5 business days I saw that the tracking was not updated. I called Silver.com and I was told the product was shipped (label created by silver.com and is at a UPS station), and that I need to contact UPS -- I did, UPS said they haven't picked up the shipment. Silver.com now tells me (apparently they lied) that they didn't have the product in stock -- BTW, I called to confirm my order and inventory before sending the money order. I now have no product, an order that silver.com is sitting on and won't/hasn't shipped. Silver.com customer support said they accepted my money order yesterday (another lie, since I received a confirmation that payment was received last week) 7 days later, silver.com has not shipped any product. I'm still unable to get product shipped. Their website and policy states that products will ship 1-3 days upon receipt of payment. This is the first time I've dealt with silver.com. I researched them before my purchase and they appear to be legitimate. I wonder if this is just isolated case or if they have a larger problem. My next step is to share this experience on social channels, so it doesn't happen to other customers and I've started to file a complaint with the BBB.
a little slow due to all the craze of stacking these days. i have no complaints with silver.comchecked quality upon arrival and all checks out!great priceskeep it up guys!
Ordered silver rounds from them price price was good but it took 18 days from start to finish. I would order again from them again.

“Crooks”

“Scam website”

Ordered a skeleton and was given a tracking # was told it takes a long time it was coming from China. It got to New York then went to Puerto Rico. When I contacted them they said it had been delivered. Tip for consumers:Do not buy it’s a scam site Products used:I was scammed Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“They failed me over and over again”

Unprofessional and rude and didn't help me even though I gave them a cut and dry case with multiple disabilities and a history of being fired from jobs for my brain disease. There's no excuse to lead me on and $#*! me over like this

“Will do business again”

Placed an order for 20oz in bars came lighting fast, did not require a signature so not sure on customer service replacing something that didn't come, will do business again. Would like a letter of authenticity but not hard to tell of silver is silver. Products used:silver Service Value Shipping Quality

“NO SECURITY/SAFETY IN SHIPPING”

I received a confirmation email that my order had been processed and they would let me know once shipped. I was very excited about the order as this was my first time purchasing silver. It clearly stated that a signature would be required and that I would be notified as soon as my order shipped. I was happy to know this because I did not want my significant other knowing that I made this purchase. Well, surprise surprise. It arrived with no notification that it had shipped. No signature required. And who do you think opened the package? Total disappointment in the whole experience. Now instead of enjoying my purchase I'm spending the evening having to explain my purchase. If you do not have a locked mailbox I highly recommend checking your mail as soon as it arrives. God forbid it gets lost in the mail...

“Stay far away”

Do not trust Silver.com or there parent company JMBULLION. Unless you like buying precious bullion from a business that operates out of a college dorm. Look at ceo Michael Whittmeyer's Facebook page. Scam to fund alcoholic poker habit.

“Stay far away”

silver.com is not a company that you want to deal with! They sold me a product that was first damaged in the mail could have been their fault for not packing it correctly or the post office. Second mailing I received the wrong product at a lesser value. They stated that my order was correct. It was not! (Baite and switch) I asked for a refund of the lesser value, to no avail. Stay away from these crooks.

“Great Service”

Bought 10oz with BTC, excellent service, the whole process was very smooth, I will order from them again. The overall review on this site do not reflect the professionals I met on the phone and via email. Tip for consumers:Buy HEAVEY METALS when your crypto is at the height before the DIP Products used:Stacking silver bars Service Value Shipping Quality

“Do Not Use Wire”

Protect yourself and do not wire funds to this company. Wired money, 2 days later order was not processed. Called company claimed and they did no receive funds so order was canceled. Called bank to recall wire, 14 days later still waiting from money to be returned. Bank has started an investigation. DO NOT WIRE, use credit card and you will have a quicker response to getting your money back.

“Go elsewhere”

I placed an order and paid for it, took 22 days to come, allso no signature required to pick up my order, they sell stuff not in stock so you have to wait, it finally came but if your gonna buy go to mony metal mgmt as they lock in your price the moment you buy, you allso get a certificate of authenticity and must sighn for order, you may save a buck or 2 but not worth the hassle as the company takes your order and after that no real contact till it finally shipped, the bar i ordered was new and undamaged and what i orderd but there customer service is lacking.

“Dont waste your time”

Customer service is non-existent at this company. In addition to non existent customer service they are price gouging in a time of national emergency and a global pandemic in my opinion. Truly UN-AMERICAN!

“Very competitive pricing.”

I open 8-10 windows to compare pricing and Silver.com is hard to beat most of the time. The only exception would be if a buyer is looking for a very specific item.

“Incompetent/dishonest, Juvenile capacities. CROOKs!”

I bought two 100oz bars from Silver.com which were shipped via the Criminal USPS. The bars got to the closest Regional USPS center to me and then the box was then shipped back to JMBullion's WareHouse in Nevada. Silver.com is merely a Front for JMBullion, with a phony address (just a mail box in strip center). I was told the box was empty when they got it back, but I can't confirm, but IT was NEVER delivered to my Local USPS hub/town for delivery to me. But Silver.com said that I had received it. So in essence, the took my funds (near $4K) and never delivered my silver. They Had NO signed receipt by me, which means they were LYING. I had to spend about 60 hours Suing them to get my money back, which took me MONTHS. Don't was your time with JMBullion & it's front company, Silver.com. Tip for consumers:Never deal with Silver.com, a front for JMBullion. Products used:After I got ripped of by them, I have NEVER used them again. Service Shipping Quality

“Same as others... do not write a check”

My check took 3 days to get there. By then they were out of stock is my guess. It was another 3 weeks to get my product. By they Pl dropped well over 125$ plus. Make me wonder if it would of gone up then what would of happened. The bar was not securely packed. I had to money it around to get it back in place. It did come needing to be signed. But the carrier signed and just left it. That is usps fought. They make me mad. They sign for everything and when I call... they Claim covid. Shocking to me was the shape of the bar in the assay. They may not be there fault. Rest of my bars are flawless in assay. This being my first englehard it may be expected. I did google others, and mine is in the worst shap. Plus, it does have a good serial number... little hard to read, but low mintage number. I would agree with one other on here. Use your Credit card. It was a good price for this bar, besides a few on ebay in live auctions. I can live with it. I may stick to pamp. Better sealed, condition always mint from many sites, and cheaper. I never called them. I did send one email. I know thier purpose for me now. Get bars you can wait on, be market up, and most be cheaper then other sites. Over all a 3*... or a c+. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“CROOKS BEWARE NOT HONEST AT ALL”

I should known it would be nothing but trouble since day one when I placed my order there website gave me no confirmation number for my order. After a hour on hold a two emails I found out my order was in fact confirmed. And mailed my check the same day.Silver.com says my check wasnt recieved for 2 kilo bars after silver went up 20% after purchase. I only found this out through my own inquiry, never recieved any notice at all from silver.com. And wouldn't let me pay by credit card. They either oversold there inventory or wouldn't honor the price I had locked in and paid. This is B. S.! They Said I could reorder at new price are they serious? This is also B. S. because the have none in stock! Sent in orders to sd bullion, bold precious metals, monarch, and other no problem what so ever! Through back and forth with the most unhelpful service reps I found out this is a jm bullion company, no wonder I'm getting screwed read there reviews they are just as bad. Idk how this scam artist are still in bussiness. Never do bussiness with these people they are more than willing to take advantage of you and the current situation. SHAME ON YOU SILVER.COM

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
