- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning securcareselfstorage.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between securcareselfstorage.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of securcareselfstorage.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of securcareselfstorage.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. securcareselfstorage.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. - Score: 3.7
Seems fine, until your rate increases 3 months after you're there. It's not even the beginning of a fiscal calendar, it's disgusting and feels very dishonest .
I have been with them for years and have just rented a second unit. Tom is extremely helpful and went above and beyond helping me with the process. Always clean, accessible, and secure. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a unit in the area!
Best place to rent. Especially close to home. Wonderful manager Cathy has been so good to us.
Under New Management! That made all the difference. Bradley is the new manager and he makes every aspect of the storage logistics process smooth. He appears stern, yet is professional and considerate of your needs to make things easier. The last person (Troy) I believe drummed up a bunch of fake reviews on himself. Keeping in mind that that ALL these storage places increase their rates, it’s the personal/human factor that makes the difference—how are you consistently treated by the facility(?). Additionally, the place is undergoing improvements. The absolutely great rates may not last after that. But for now, low rates plus great Norcross Manager may be a super trade-off for the shabby digs. Five stars on service and rates.
2976 North Expy, Griffin Ga.Checked in today 03/21/24 to rent a unit. Both the property manager Tammy Hayes and her Assistant - Kennetha acted in a professional manner and were outstanding. They were both very helpful and the treatment received was nothing short of respect. The unit was very clean and very spacious as expected. Will recommend it to anyone without hesitation.
I have storage in El paso, TX at the Will Ruth location since 2019 and Kim is ALWAYS AWESOME. This place is the best place I've had a storage unit. Kim always makes me feel welcome, even over the phone and is always polite and very very sweet, everyone includingmyslef have some hard times and they always work with you and I've never had a storage facility work with me like that. If your in El Paso and need a storage unit for any size, this place is my #1 recommendation. THIS PLACE IS TRULY AWESOME 10000%!
Beware, they will raise your rates on you within the first three months. So, if you plan to rent longer term, know it will increase. Apparently, their rates are "introductory" and that's to hook you in, get your belongings stored, then up with the rate hike. I have been with them for 3 months and they raised rates 20%. I have no assurance that they won't continue to do this and will look for another storage facility. Other than that it's a good storage facility.
When we got the storage unit back in August, Valerie at the Longview E. Marshall location was very knowledgeable and helpful and got us the perfect size. We only needed it for as few months, so when I went to cancel it the office was closed. I called another the location on Loop 281 in Longview and Mona took care of everything. She was also amazing! We were very impressed with both the cleanliness of the office, the selection of units, and the wonderful employees at both Longview locations!
To whom ever it may concern, your facilities was nice, I just wish that your company could have given me at least 4-5 month to be at my storage unit before you charge more money for the unit. Other than your customer service was awesome, Wanda was a wonderful customer service representative. One last thing you should periodically check for water bugs, I had a few in my unit before I left out the unit .Mildred
Perry in Monument, Colorado is simply the best. Friendly and helpful, he always gets it done. I had to change credit cards and had difficulty online, so he patiently walked me through the process in the office. Vincent - Unit #5..
Service is just average. Facility is clean, and kept up well. Annual increases are substantial at 10% or more since ownership has changed. Tough to make changes or complain with a full storage. Local staff is pleasant. Several interactions with area manager not so much. I am sure some people struggle with the covid pandemic situation and possible job problems. No offers of help have been forthcoming. Just a notice your rate is going up on your anniversary.
I have leased a unit for over 6 years on Vickers Street in Colorado Springs. The staff is extremely respectful, gracious and simply said... outstanding. I appreciated their attention to keeping the site clean and well monitored. Even though I was an end unit, there was so little dust that had come into the unit over a 6 year period! I was astounded and very much delighted that my storage boxes didn’t have dust on it. Units are well designed & staffing keeps common areas immaculate. Excellent and experienced staffing makes this location rate above all others. Thank you for hiring the best people. I was always greeted with a smile. Lisa B
I have had several units at the E. Ponce de Leon location in Decatur, GA since June 2021...each unit's monthly rate increased approximately 15% every 3-6 months. I understand that the units are rented month-to-month so rent can change, but what justifies such steep and frequent rate increases? I surmise that SecurCare figures a tenant will accept arbitrary and frequent rate increases to avoid having to go through the hassle and expense of moving to a different storage unit company.
High rate increases every 3-6 months. My latest rate jumped from $120 to $150 (a month!). Their insurance fee is bogus. From other reviews, they're not going to cover any kind of damage from rats, rain, etc. What's happening here is a trap some companies fall in... when more customers flee from reading the negative reviews, SecurCare raises the rate to maintain their revenue. The people who wrote the negative reviews then feel the effect. However, it's worth it. I hope they raise the rate to $900 a month for a 10x10 and everybody flees, leaving nothing but storage units full of HUNGRY RATS.
We recently had a 4 inch snow in Colorado Springs, and they decided to push all of the snow directly in front of my unit... I cannot access it to get my vehicle in or out, nor put anything in storage! I wouldn't complain, but every 6 months they raise the rent by 30-50 dollars... I've been here for 2 and a half years, and rent has been raised 140 dollars in that time!! I will be looking for another storage facility, and suggest you should too!!! I would download pictures, but site doesn't allow!!!
I really enjoyed the ease of and peace of mind that the local rep provided to me, Shelia Hill McIntyre did an above and beyond job with helping me last minute. She showed me empanthy and she sounded like she really cared that I understood everything. Kudos to this outstanding employee.
The service the manager Lori delivered was great for the entire time I had my things stored. I would like to suggest corporate office to review the temperature in the storage facilities in Florida where humidity is very high. I shouldn’t find mold on my belongings since they were stored completely dry. But I did. There was mold on the couch, love seat, a jacket, shoes, curtain rods, and mattresses. I had to throw the jacket away, but could clean the rest. So I suggest to have the temperature lowered down to keep humidity level down than it has been kept.
I’ve stored at several locations and each one is crawling with bugs and rats. Other people will bring in their roach infested furniture and leave it to allow the critters to be free. The company only sprays the outside of the door to the units and the insurance does not cover any type of rodent or bug infestation. It’s store at your own risk.
I have no major complaints about SecureCare, the only reason I did not give 5 stars was because I feel that the insurance should be optional. They mandate it. I feel that once you sign a waiver stating that if your items are stolen or vandalized, then the company is not responsible, so therefore, the insurance should be totally up to the customer.
I would like to let everyone know that this company has totally lost my trust. I will be leaving SecureCare Self Storage for raising my rent by $12.00 for a super small 5x10 unit without notice of this change. I am on a tight budget and this change is unacceptable. Things are bad enough in this country, thanks to the current Crappy Biden Administration. Though it may not be much to many people, $144 a year makes a big difference to a disabled person only receiving SSDI.

“Unacceptable customer service”
It's with great disappointment that I write this extensive review on SecurCare Self Storage located at 3230 Knickerbocker Rd, San Angelo, TX *******. Had the company chosen customer service over the fine print, I would never have gone through the effort to write this review. I am an active duty member stationed at Goodfellow AFB. Upon PCSing to San Angelo, I leased a fully furnished apartment and I decided to store my belongings at SecurCare based on their commitment to customer service and the military. I reserved the unit over the phone, paid for my first month's rent, and moved into the unit the next day. The woman on the phone asked if I wanted to purchase a lock from the company, but I decided to use the lock I had available to save money. In the first two weeks, I received a phone call from the manager informing my unit was broken into. Someone cut the lock and got into my unit. The company had no video on my unit and no alarm record of anyone breaking into the into. The manager told me that she recommended only the round locks because the structure is more difficult to cut through it. I told her that no one explained (over the phone) the difference between the locks at the time of purchase. As a customer, I found this very unsettling. We secured the unit with the recommended lock. Several weeks later, I received another phone call to regretfully inform my unit was broken intoa second time! Despite changing the lock, the criminals used a crowbar or some other tool to cut/pry open the storage unit door. The round lock made no difference. I asked the manager to call the police and file a reportlet them know I am active duty and cannot make it to the complex that day. Once again, there was no video footage or alarm record. I had to inconvenience members of my unit to help me move my things ASAP, spend extra money to relocate my things, and inconvenience my coworker by storing my belongings in his garage. I asked asked the manager for refund on my payment since I moved my things out. The manager agreed to ask for higher management. I appreciated her help. I expected the SecurCare higher management to do the right thing and return the money as a gesture of good customer service towards a military member. Despite everything I went through, higher management said they would not return the money, not even on the basis of good customer service. This was completely unacceptable. I recognize SecurCare storage contract "fine print" states customers will not receive a refund. Nonetheless, the company should EQUALLY recognize their responsibility to fulfill its mission and promise to military members stated on their website below... -SecurCare claims "24-hour surveillance," yet there was NO VIDEO and NO ALARM INDICATION on TWO BREAK-INs. Whatever they are surveying clearly doesn't add to the security of the customer belongs. Reference: https://securcareselfstorage.com -SecurCare Storage states "we are constantly working to fulfill our mission: to satisfy all of our tenants' storage needs." Yet, they did not serve my need for a secure place to store my belongings and more importantly, did not make the effort (the small gesture) to make things right by refunding the money... even if their policy states otherwise. Reference: https://securcareselfstorage.com/about-us -In regard to active duty personnel, they state the following: "protecting our country is a big job... you [military member s] need a safe place to keep [your items]." They claim to serve active-duty personnel and their need for safe, worry-free storage. This was never provided. Reference: https://securcareselfstorage.com/storage-features/military-storage In summary, while SecurCare storage fine print may state "no refunds," higher management should equally consider the misleading statements on their website. The company did not provide adequate monitoring, good customer service, or commitment to military members. Businesses who genuinely care about their customers would do what's right out of principle, despite fine print.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
