I purchased a few pandora jewelry from them and all turned out to be fakes. Customer service stopped helping me as soon as I told them what I was told by pandora. All pandora jewelry have some type of authenticity marking which all of my other jewelry have but the ones purchased from Rue La La have no markings at all. I couldn’t even get an agent to stay on the line right after I told them they sold me fake jewelry.

Over an hour on hold to the two agents. Kate C. Was my finial customer service representative and was not helpful or polite and would not refund me so that I could take my busses elsewhere. The system switched my address after my order was completed and was delivered to the wrong address and state. I've spent over $1,500 in my last two orders and both orders were delayed for delivery multiple times.
Purchased 3 items in June 2024 which was never delivered. The FedEx tracking claimed to have delivered on July 30th but provided no proof of their delivery. Tried resolving with Customer service and it was so frustrating. I keep getting an automated response which does not address my concerns about the missing package. It seems as though the customer has no recourse in situations like these. I will never buy from them again nor would I recommend them to anyone. As a matter of fact, I believe that they should be investigated.
Absolutely horrific customer service. I received the wrong blouse - a completely different blouse than I ordered by the same designer. I am traveling, and the company is making me find time to pack up the wrong blouse and deliver it to FedEx - won't have it picked up from my house by USPS. We don't have a location close. Really bad website where you cannot even raise a claim it shows a lot of errors. With emails they just ignoring you, at the beginning ask for the proof pics of the damage that I received and then just ignoring your emails. Purchased a jacket to the value of the $1000, when it arrived, even though the right size, it is HUGE. Looks completely different on the photos. Requested a return as its something i cant use. The response I got, that it was a "Final Sale" item and they don't take returns. It did not state on the listing that its Final Sale item, when brough to their attention, they still refused. They are scammers. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes totaling $1100. The order does not show up in my order history for some reason. Customer service is non-existent, they've replaced humans with stupid AI bots. Contacted them via the website and the AI bot keeps regurgitating the state auto response telling me to log in to my account and go to order history to check the status of my order. When I asked to speak a live person, the bot says they will connect me but they don't. I emailed customer service and again got an AI not response giving me the same instructions. When I reply and explain the issue, I get the exact same AI chat bot response telling me to go to my order history to check the status of my order. Sent messages on Facebook and Instagram and got no response. I had to dispute the charge with my bank. This is unacceptable.
I am a long time customer and am super disappointed in their new return policy. It’s within 21 days, but they count that 21 days from the time you order. On average, it takes seven days to receive the shipment unless you expedite, and then, if you return something, it can take up to two weeks for them to acknowledge acceptance. Based on those timelines, it is almost utterly impossible to return anything. Save your money and go elsewhere. Super disappointing since I’ve been such a good customer for so long.
They charge a return fee and then they charge you for return shipping. In my experience there has always been a catch with what they sell. They're 'bread and butter' is screwing over the consumer with low quality cloths marketed at discounts even though you can find the same thing on their competitors websites for about the same price.If you ask me, forget you saw what you liked from their site. Rue la la has a very bad customer service. I love ordering stuff from online but this the worst company that i ever dealt with. They will provide you tracking order but if you click it there are no updates. If you speak to the customer service they will make you a ticket number and the communication is thru email. It's so frustrating. The 10-13 days shipment will never happen and who know's when is my $390 order will arrive. I should read the reviews first before i order from them and i hope they change because I like their products.
Terrible customer service experience. I bought a pair of shoes and the box said the size I ordered, but the shoes inside were a different size. After many back and forth emails with customer service (including one that didn’t answer my question and wanting to close my ‘ticket’, they told me how to send back the item via DHL. I then received 3 separate copies of a shipping label from FedEx. When I asked what to do, they told me to use that label. Now I’ve been charged 11.99 because I want a refund instead of a store credit. They no longer sell the shoes and it was their mistake. I’m not confident I will get any of my money back at this point and may have even paid extra so they could get the shoes back. So disappointing. Never again.
Scam I Purchased on August.4 for the first time in my life from this website, 4 items which was never delivered. The FedEx tracking claimed to have delivered on Aug6 and Aug 7 ,showing a pictures from inside a room,this is not my house, no one can enter my house ,they have to show a stairs,but they are showing an office with a glass partition, I beleive it is there office . I ordered an item during the special July 4 sales. They delayed for weeks and just canceled the purchase saying the item is no longer available, yet it clearly is, just for more money. When I attempted to contact customer service, no one wants to help, they just give you the run around saying prices change all the time. I put 2 items in my cart; but I can't check out. I'm trapped in an infinite loop by coding bugs. I even reset my PayPal (Canada?) account when I got forced there, but I really just wanted to use my Mastercard. But no such luck. I suspected I would "rue" the hours I just spent trying to get this site to work. I'm fed up with trying to get it to recognize the 14-character password I gave it (with confirmation!). Many seem to agree they're not at alpha-version yet, neither code nor customer service interactions. Good luck! I sha'n't be back for a (long) while.

Item ordered on 11/28/14, received email on same day confirming order and stating delivery to be "on or before" 12/11/14 and I'd receive a confirmation when "it leaves their hands". Called their 888 number today and they do not know when or if the product ordered will be shipped. They quoted some problem with their supplier. I have requested an email stating what our phone conversation was about, but have not received one as yet. “Not as good anymore”
I have been a heavy user of rue la la for 10 years now--spent a lot of money, gotten some very good values. Their shipping is uneven... sometimes things arrive earlier than they tell you at purchase and you may not be home to receive, often they are late and the delays can be lengthy. They also pack and ship the wrong items too often. Two lessons i've learned over the years--always check prices on other websites, as sometimes amazon or overstock every day prices are lower (mostly for home stuff not clothing). And ignore their way-too-frequent sale announcements as their prices seem to remain about the same, they almost never actually mark things down
“Mostly good”
I've shopped in Rue La La for more than 2 years, and to be honest I'm pretty satisfied with it. Their customer service is pretty responsive and good, an example would be there was one time I made an order, but soon found out the size is wrong, I tried to contact the customer service and cancel the order, and they replied within 5 minutes and helped cancel the order without charging my card! However I've never purchased any expensive items except for a Ferragamo bag for my mom. Super good quality. I'd say I'll try not to purchase "big" item from it just to be more cautious in the future, considering all the comments I've seen about it here.
