rss.app Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives rss.app a medium trust score on the platform: 58.8. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Active. Medium-Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 58.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to rss.app's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Active. Medium-Risk. tags above. Long story short, we still see some red flags with this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning rss.app, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between rss.app and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of rss.app. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of rss.app, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. rss.app is a problematic website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether rss.app has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether rss.app boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, rss.app.

Very responsive customer support! My issue solved within a day and works great.
Amazing support. I needed the RSS app only to allow feed items for one hour as I deal in the stock market, and they developed it within weeks. Highly recommend.
Great product for us to use to develop feeds for our client SharePoint intranets. We typically use X/Twitter and News feeds. The style options and ability to fine tune settings is great. Their customer support team is fantastic and they respond to you quickly and accurately. Edwin has helped us out numerous times with questions.
RSS.app has many useful functionalities and the support desk thinks from the customer's perspective. There are no difficult questions for them. They have a flexible attitude and approach questions as an opportunity to improve rss.app with: 'how do we make it possible?' In short, this tool is going from good to better. And I probably still don't even know all the options that are already available. So it is a great tool to use!
First note that the lower ratings are over a year old. My experience has been flawless and I started in January, 2024. Business hours tech support in minutes. Most important, my entire business runs on RSS.app feeds. I even put native RSS feeds through their system as the source because of their formatting and the control -- like being able to filter posts on the most granular level -- can not be found anywhere else.Example: There's a feed from a site I adore. Except that 35% of the post are "listicles" that aren't newsy. By using their filtering I can filter out the listicles and get the real news. Try to find another app that can do that.
I subscribed to get twitter posts via RSS. It was working great until earlier this week when I started getting duplicates in my feed. Contacted support and they responded right away and fixed the issue within 24 hours. Impressed!
Just started using rss.app and it's super easy to use. I needed to make some custom RSS feeds and their site made it a breeze. Each feed has its own customizable settings where I can adjust each feed independently. The feeds update quickly and I haven’t run into any issues so far. Also, their prices are pretty fair. Definitely recommend it if you need a hassle-free RSS tool!
Edwin was awesome! I had a feed from a website that wasn't supported by RSS but Edwin was able to submit my request to his tech team and now it's available for me to use.
Support dude Edwin helped us optimize our news feed widget for a client website. They went way above the call of duty and pretty much created the widget for me from scratch. Kudos!!
Used rss.app to create some news feeds for a project. The feeds worked smoothly and I never faced any issue. Unfortunately, the project I was working on has ended and I had to leave rss.app. Their customer support is very cooperative and helped me with a refund as I had forgotten to unsubscribe from the service. Special thanks to Jackie for the prompt response.
Have been using for few weeks as currently it is only app that allows me to create rss feeds from Twitter. Had some small issues in the beginning but the supper team was helpful and quick to find a solution. Totally recommend!
The service itself is indeeed one of a kind, hence it becomes a problem as there is no real alternative that allows creating feeds from websites and social media in such a an UX friendly fashion.Overall getting rss data works very, very well and if you have a bit of knowledge this tool is flexible and can be adjusted to your needs. However, there are some problems with refresh rates in the pro plan depending on the type of site you parse. The biggest problem we have though is the customer support or the lack thereof to be exact.Answering takes ages, up to weeks even and you need to send loads of emails and chat messages for them to initially respond, so forget about any urgent fix.
I am using the app now and all my feed is not showing up. I selected 50 but it is only showing 25 stories sucks cause I'm paying for this. Customer service not helpful I am thinking about cancelling
The team here are fantastic! They listened to my unique requirements and built a solution for me within 24 hours. I'm used to hearing "that's a feature in our pipeline" and then not seeing it for months. These guys deliver. 10 out of 5 stars
Such a helpful website. Super easy to use and I can make feeds from websites that don't provide them to me. The only downside is support is a little slow, but they are helpful when I need help. Also, they are very responsive to feature requests. If you email them a feature request, they usually take about a week or 2 to build it for you.
Update: I contacted their support about this issue. They refunded me, and changed the UI to make things a lot more clear.I have no plan to resume using RSS.app, but I acknowledge that they are reactive and they listen to their customer.- Initial review:When you buy a pay plan and downgrade to a free plan, you're not downgraded at the end of the plan you paid for. You're downgraded right away. It means that you have paid for a service that you cannot use. I paid for a month and literally never had the chance to use what I paid for. And when you downgrade, there is no warning, no message, nothing to warn you that you will lose your features right away.Plus, the web scrapping tool they offer doesn't work: I tried it on three different websites, success rate was 0%.Do yourself a favor and use Visualping.io or literally anything else.
I recently started using rss feeds for 3 months now, and my first rss software platform is the rss.app! For a first timer like me, I appreciate how user friendly this generator is. It was easy to navigate their website making it more convenient for me learn about rss feeds in a short time.Rss.app helps me stay up-to-date with the latest news, updates, and information from my favorite websites. It's an efficient way to manage and track my contents as a marketer.I also love how their features offer flexibility and customization, which can be very beneficial to someone who wants to personalize their feeds.Furthermore, my only concern is the Instagram RSS feed updates. Sometimes, it'll take an hour to update the feed (that's okay) but there are times where I might appreciate it more if it updates real-time. But that could also be an issue on Instagram's end.In summary, rss.app is an excellent tool to consider to efficiently manage and track RSS feeds. Its customization features, integration support, and ability to generate RSS feeds for any website make it reliable.
12-14-23 update I changed my rating from a 1 star to a 5 star because Jackie from RSS has responded to all my support emails. They are working to change their customer support. I appreciate how they turned this around. I have reached out several times by email and received a response within 1 day. Jackie let me know they are working on getting a ticket system in place. We will continue to use their service. Jackie apologized for not responding to my other support issues. This particular software allows you to pull in Rumble feeds. So far this works for us and they are making an effort to change their customer support. Thank you for stepping up and changing this. If you need to reach out to them check the Terms and Service page they provide an email. July 9, 2023 Terrible customer service. The app is good, but since some changes, the filter no longer works properly, and some other features do not work properly. I have been trying to reach out to customer support since January 2023. Yep, you read this correctly, and still no response. Their customer support is nonexistent for me. I have constantly emailed them and on chat. Asking if everything is going well. Nothing, no response, nothing. Rss.app if you read this, how can you run a business and not support the customers who provide you the business?
They are not very professional. They sent me a "trial is over" thru the RSS FEED where it went to a public place. Very shady also to charge $100/year for 3 lines of code that they wrote once.
Works as advertised, and they're ready to fix any problems you encounter.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
