quantumfiber.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives quantumfiber.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 86.6. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 86.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to quantumfiber.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning quantumfiber.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between quantumfiber.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of quantumfiber.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of quantumfiber.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. quantumfiber.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether quantumfiber.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether quantumfiber.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, quantumfiber.com.

Horribly inconsistent internet connection, despite having 4 of their “pod” extenders. Already had to replace all 4 defective pods and I’m still having issues. The internet just randomly disconnects and I have to reset everything, which also takes way longer than necessary. This happens pretty much every week.
Terrible coverage and service. Consistently buffering despite paying for the higher priced plan. Pods do not expand reach throughout your house. Customer service is non existent. It says an hour wait and to leave your number and they will call you back. They do not return the calls. This company should be ashamed of their terrible service and customer service.
I think this company is a scam! Technician came reconnected the deleted network and it worked for less than 20 minutes and never achieved a full signal. All I did was browse standard web pages not even multimedia. I've been using the internet since it's invention, I believe this is a scam. Obviously your junk modems overheat in less than an hour and have so much extra junk attached to them. Honestly what a pile of junk modem they have chosen. Literally my backyard has a giant quantum utility panel in it. You can't even connect me for 30 minutes lol. What is this?
Terrible service. I've been waiting 5 weeks for installation. 4 technicians have come to install but they say no line has been run to my house even though 2 technician told me they were running the line. I was on chat hold for over 2 hours with no reason given for the delay. I was on phone hold for over an hour on several days only to be told I could cancel my account and apply again!
Moved back to Xfinity. Kept losing IP connectivity with Quantum. They scheduled a service call 9 days out. Totally unacceptable!! They wouldn't send a replacement modem. I was able to order Xfinity internet, run to the store and pick up the modem and set it up in less time that I spent on hold with Quantum. With hold times of one hour plus, why don't they have a call-back system like everyone else? Support chat starts at +99 in line ahead. Bush league systems.
Absolutely awful. Called repeatedly to have an issue with connected voice dealt with only to be given the run around after being on hold for over an hour and a half each time. Once they even transferred me to CenturyLink instead of someone within Quantum.
Same as everyone on this review page. This is the worst, nonexistent customer service I have ever experienced. I rely heavily on wifi for work and anytime there is an issue I know I'm just SOL as no one from Quantum is going to help. I am currently on hold for over 1 hr for the second time in 2 days. I feel so frustrated that I went with this company.
I got quantum about 2 months ago. The service goes in and out. Today for example it is 11:19 where I live, and the service has gone out 10 times so far. When I called the customer service the recorder said the wait time is 3 hours. One day in July my service went out for 5 hours, and every time I called, I was on hold for an average of 47 minutes. Each person I spoke to gave me a different reason for outage, just to get me off the phone. Finally, the 4th representative was able to fix it. I won't be staying with this company much longer .
I am going to be one of those people. If I could give a negative star I would. Just got it installed today as soon as the technician left... it stopped working. Was on hold with customer service for 2 hours. Just for them to hang up on us at the 3 hour mark 🙃 after another hour on the online chat we were able to get to the bottom of it. The technician didn't install the wiring correctly!! Now we wait 2 days for them to come back out to fix their mistake! I work from home, this definitely is not ok.Great start!
Migrated from CenturyLink internet service to QuantumFiber on August 22nd. The fiber was laid on 07/20/24 by one person and installed on 07/22/24 by another who said it would take from one to 10 days for the [burial crew] to do their job. It's been over a month now and the fiber is still laid out in the grass (as well as quite a few others in the neighborhood). I called the customer reps (in the Philippines) and actually talked to more than one different rep. to get the fiber buried. They sent the installer man instead of 'another' crew to just bury the fiber, so that was a waste of time. I've tried Quantum's ChatWithUs and found it doesn't work. I can't find any one or any way in Quantum to get the fiber buried. Their automated call service plain stinks.I just got my August CenturyLink bill and they billed me for CenturyLink internet service for the whole month even though I've been on Quantum Fiber the whole period. I expected that when I went live on Quantum that my CenturyLink internet service would automatically be canceled (because CenturyLink and Quantum are both part of Lumen). They must not talk to each other.
The service is terrible from the beginning, they are a pain in the ass. I get so angry at the time they made me waste. The internet goes out and when you call them on the phone, the customer service is horrible, you leave the phone ringing for more than an hour and no one answers. If you want to talk to them, it has to be by chat (a waste of time) you have to wait an hour because there are so many people with problems that they make you wait. I'm staying with SPECTRUM, I changed from Spectrum to Quantum and it was the biggest mistake, I went back to Spectrum, even though I have to pay more, but the service is a thousand times better than Quantum.
They sent me a text going to up grade my internet, after 2 weeks I called and asked when. Too 15 minutes for them to tell me it was coming but couldn't tell me when! A box shows up 4 weeks later and has new modem must be installed right away! But they do not send the 360 pod that I pay extra for each month! I have called 8 times in 2 days and no one answers. On hold forever! I tried web site told computer I wanted to chat with a real person. They are coming soon, right! So I still have the crap internet that has slowed down even more and can' get the correct parts to hook up new service but hey they raised the price 3 months ago! No problem raising price but don't have enough people to answer phone! Oh and old internet equipment ends on friday!
Don’t bother with this dogshi company. No support from their team. Honestly guys send a few extra bucks and go with a company that actually responds to its customers. Company should be shut down, it’s useless.
The WiFi stopped working the very next day after it was installed. Tried to call support from the morning to the afternoon but no one picked the call or even the chatbot on their website kept saying there are 99+ people in the waiting line. The number of people waiting never went down. Their app is also extremely bad. When the WiFi works the modem doesn’t show up in the app so there’s no way to reboot it or troubleshoot it from the app. Consistency is so vital and this internet is not consistent or reliable. I am afraid how am I going to do my job with this inconsistent WiFi. It’s very worrying if the consistently good connection is not there when you need internet to do your job.
Everything about quantum fiber is absolutely horrible! Customer service, and tech support phone, or chat wait times take over an hour! Then, after waiting those ridiculous wait times you’ll be cut off without getting anything resolved, and have to call back and wait for over an hour all over again! I was billed $322.16 for equipment I never ordered! Plus after being sent 360 WiFi Pods for a larger coverage area in my home. They mysteriously stopped working after about two weeks! I ended up canceling my service and sent them back their equipment in less than a month and a half! They’re pitiful!

Quantum is doing an upgrade and it is totally not thought through how to do this. The QR code doesn't work. It is IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone on the phone. I left a call back and never got one repeatedly. They don't respond to email. So without help from them whatsoever, I "think" I got my system working again. I can't recommend this company from a customer perspective. Apparently, they don't care about customers or, they aren't staffed to address issues. They actually rate a ZERO for customer service. A BIG FAT ZERO.
I finally successfully canceled my account with Quantum Fiber. They seem to be using robots to drain $ off your "required" payment method. I never requested their PODs and the other extraneous items. I ONLY HAD the BOX connecting the fiber cable to computer. It CLEARLY states on their website that that item DOES NOT NEED to be returned. The ROBOT just took another $324.91 for "unreturned items". They were SO BAD before that, like charging for service when I paused my account, which again they say they won't do. This company and whoever "the man behind the curtain" is: is the worst pack of LIARS and THIEVES I've ever run across. They don't even deserve to call themselves a business. MY Credit Card Company said they would litigate! Please join the club people! I'm older and I've done my battle with places like this and won but I'm all out steam now. Don't ever let them think you have no power. YOU are the consumer and, without YOU they have no income. I feel very sorry for their customer service people, when you do get a real person they try to help. I think they know it's a bad business. QUANTUM FIBER INTERNET ISN'T WORTH THE LIES and THIEVERY.
Non-existent customer support. My Internet has been down since Friday afternoon. I spent 2 hours on hold only to have someone tell me to try unplugging the router and plugging it back in. That didn't work? A technician can come look at it next week.
I was hesitant at first to try Quantum, but I had to do something with Xfinity because those guys are just working for the mob. Their fees are so high I had I was sick of dealing with Xfinity. I was over it so I went to Quantum the technician was awesome. His name was Danny. Any other guy do the drop-down for the fiber optics but The technician Danny was full of information. He answered all my question. He was great with conversation. He knew what he was talking about very experienced anyway so far Quantum awesome I love these guys.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
