publix.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives publix.com a fairly high trust score on the platform: 80.8. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Fair. Valid. Known.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 80.8 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to publix.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning publix.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between publix.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of publix.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of publix.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. publix.com is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether publix.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether publix.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, publix.com.

“You hung up on me?”
Tried to order a cake. He said it didn't come in that size (when I ordered 1 for Christmas.Picked it up on x-mas eve). I told him to just write up the order for me and the bakers will do it tomorrow. He hung up on me. I never yelled or cussed or was rude. Shocked me. Went up there and got store manager. The young man lied and said he did it b/c I was rude. That's a lie. Will be taking my business elsewhere for cakes. Tip for consumers:There was no excuse for hanging up on a customer when I acted polite. Products used:The store manager wrote up the order for me. He apologized to me when it should have been the other man. I better have my cake made.
“Service Animals”
It seems publix has a problem with service dogs. I have started shopping at Walmart or Winn Dixie, where shopping is Pleasure!. I have no proof of purchase as I did not buy anything, I was told my dog was not a service dog. I was told to leave as my dog was not a service dog,5 Tip for consumers:Nothing else to say I will not be shopping at publix anymore. Products used:None as I was told my dog is not a service dog.I took my dog and went to shop where ,shopping really is a Pleasure.WINN DIXIE . Service Value Quality
“A very dissatisfied customer”
I was going to Mebane NC and needed to take food for a gathering. I spent $102.01 on various prepared foods from Publix. NOTHING was good at all. NOT 1 thing was good which surprised me since I'd bought chicken there before. Also, at self check out their monitor rebooted as I was making transaction and wouldn't give receipt, which i had to wait 5 minutes for and the lady at the check out could have been nicer, especially under the circumstances. Will NEVER buy publix prepared foods again. E.Lorrayne Clark Tip for consumers:the sub sandwiches, I bought 5, all horrible I bought 2 boxes of chicken wings, not good. cookies, not good. wish I had gone somewhere else. Value Quality
“Respecting elderly”
Customer service needs to not say out loud about how stupid an elderly person is. Some elderly people suffer stroke damage or other brain affects. I had that experience and I can't bring myself to ever go shopping there again.
“Publix 1611 E. Greenville St Anderson, SC 29621 store manager Dane Register.”
Today's trip to the store left me with an unpleasant feeling. The manager Olivia didn't want to use my coupons even though they were real and I got them from the factory. She took me out of the line in front of everyone and made me wait near the counter. In front of me, she served several customers who came up without a queue. The store also cheated a woman out of more than $10 and she came to investigate. At first, the manager dealt with those who simply approached. It was hard for me to wait, I was after a medical operation, but she was taking care of other clients. I don't want to use this store anymore. The cashier was polite and friendly. The manager acted arrogantly and I felt humiliated. The chicken I bought was dried out and overcooked. Smell of old oil. I don't recommend it.
“At Publix, the price of simple pain relief is out of reach”
Publix gets a general low grade in our experience because the store continues to ratchet up prices despite national reports that inflation is generally coming down. A specific example is our grocery shopping experience this morning. The store had moved its aspirin offerings out of the medication/personal care aisle to a special shelf by the pharmacy hyping the same aspirin we bought previously as an arthritic pain reliever -- as if this makes it okay to charge $23 for a product that costs pennies to make. Of course people use aspirin to ease minor arthritis pain, and also period cramps, occasional headaches and colds. How cynical and outright cruel of Publix to make people through the nose for pain relief. Publix may tell us that the price hike is not their fault, that "distribution" is the problem. We don't buy it nor should you. Tip for consumers:No. I do hope Publix reads these reviews because this is just unconscionable. And while I'm not a rah-rah patriot, I think it's un-American in a particularly low way. Most Americans live paycheck to paycheck and their salaries haven't kept pace with the inflationary pricing Publix is indulging in. Nor are its products in many cases luxury or discretionary items. Its shoppers are trying to put food on the table. Products used:We ended up not buying aspirin at Publix (at those prices we wonder who would). We will try Dollar General. Value
“Won't show prices online”
Tried to compare prices with Amazon to know if it was worth the trip but Publix won't show the price online! It's for a product you can add to your list but not your cart. Even when you select the exact store, it won't show you the cost. Target, Kroger and Walmart all show the cost on their websites. Seems very fishy to me.
“Publix Madison Yards Ants”
I was hoping to try one of these ginger beers at the Madison Yards Publix off of Glenwood and Memorial in Atlanta, but these ants beat me to it.
“! The worst store brand cheese ever!”
Overall Publix is I think a very good grocery store? But they are extraordmerrily overpriced compared to the competition and as I said. They have the most disgusting store, brandon and cheese i've ever eaten! Shows how cheap they are. Service Value Returns Quality
“The delivery rude people”
Went to deli first time in store. Not helpful at all in the deli ordered turkey and cheese she gave me my turkey but not the cheese when I asked her u forgot my cheese she ignored me and went to the nxt person so i had to wait again.would never shop in there again.and there very expensive but the deli people have issues..
“Philly Cheesesteak Spring rolls”
A friend came over and I decided to pull this out of the freezer. They looked pretty good on the box. These taste like creamed/ mashed up goo. Absolutely no clue where the "steak" was. We spit them out. Yes, that gross.
“Nuisance”
Overall Publix is an ok store, some of the employees are really great. Others, over the top helpful where it becomes a nuisance. Yesterday one of them started punching on the screen at the self checkout while I was entering my pc nr and of course her "helpfulness" voided it. Besides that incident they are not open to any criticism/feedback or requests whatsoever, they get offended. I am limiting my shopping trips to Publix as much as possible. Service Value Quality
“SLOW deli”
Stay away from Publix in Hermitage if you need to stop at the deli. Sloooooow service. I was the only one at the counter on saturday, with one lady behind the counter cleaning. She was supposed to get someone to help me. I just left. Today there was only one other customer. But the worker had to disappear to ask someone which one was priscutti. Why not just ask the customer. Again I just gave up & left. Stay away. Service Value Quality
“Bye Bye Publix”
Publix on Hutchinson Island Stuart should close. Every time I go in I hear the " oh we're not as big as the store in town… so we don't do that, have that etc. They open at 8 but the lady working in seafood will tell you without a smile that her section is not ready until 9:30. So kind of waste of MY time then and you could be a little nicer while blowing me off! Today after showing up early I was told at checkout that gee this ham doesn't have a price. 10 minutes later after they pushed me off on another cashier I told them to keep their overpriced miniature ham. I'll buy it at Winn Dixie. I've been going to Publix since I was a baby …. Not another penny for bad service and poorly run stores with lame excuses.
“Publix becoming more like Walmart everyday”
This is the second time in a month my wife and I have gone shopping on Friday morning, to buy an advertised special, only to find out they were out of what we wanted. One of there employees told us it should be in Sunday hopefully, they were taking names if you wanted to get the item. Publix has surely going down hill fast. Absolutely the worst management team. Reminds me of Walmart they just don't care
“Horrible! I ordered my son's birthday cake, got confir”
Horrible people seems to be not in the known. I ordered my sons bday cake online, came to pick up, nobody knew anything, so my son end up with regular basic one (it was very important to me) got balloons there a day earlier…. Came outside - 4 out of 6 flew away the manager was so nice, but there is only so much he can do…. I will never order anything from Publix ever again (it was my first time) Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Bad food”
I generally purchase produce, cream cheese, bagels etc from Publix. I try to purchase meat and seafood locally. Lately the produce has rotted before it even ripens. The cream cheese spoils within days of opening. I have to keep bread/meat frozen so it doesn't spoil before the so called expiration date. Forget the Vine ripe tomatoes. They go bad before they ripen. I go to Publix because of the produce and it's one stop place. They have gone down hill in the last few years. I am being forced to grocery shop at other reputable local markets which can be more expensive. However, their organic products are so much better. It is worth spending a little more money for food that I can actually eat as opposed too Publix where the food doesn't ripen or spoils in a matter of days. Tip for consumers:Horrible pricing for everything. This has to be government owned. It's pricing for food is getting outrageous. Publix is price gouging which is supposed to be illegal in FL. Publix is able to circumvent the tax free items in FL by raising their prices above the tax free items. Products used:Produce and other products.. Service Value Quality
“Publix Pricing”
Honestly, Publix prices are extremely expensive, makes people having to like pay lots of money for like certain few items that you need. And also, this store is not a good place to work at for more reasons than this reason/.
“Too long to wait for a sandwich”
I go to the Publix on Old Cutler Road. Great store, nice people. I LOVE the fresh made subs at the deli. I go for lunch or dinner but get very annoyed by the wait. The lines are 3-4 people deep and waiting 1/2 hour standing there is not uncommon. This evening 6:30 I finally just walked out. At least 2 people making subs at dinner time would help. You're losing money. People behind me were disgusted too.
“PUBLIX ST CLOUD”
Today I went to shop for some balloons for my Son inlay Congrats for his new position... Angelina from product was a joy. She was very professional, knowledgeable, God bless. PUBLIX you guys a excellent employee there. Att. Zibah Reyes Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Very poor interview process”
Over 2 weeks since my interview, and still no word. So, I call and speak to the interviewer (Sydney, Assistant Manager). I told her that I was no longer interested in the position due to her not being professional enough to give me a call regarding the outcome of my interview. She had nothing to say except "I'm sorry." Really? If this is the way they handle prospective employees, I'm certain I would NEVER want to actually be their employee! I have shopped at Publix since they opened in my area, and have always given them rave reviews, but now I will be shopping elsewhere.
“Corporate Greed.”
We all know inflation is off the charts and some Companies are taking advantage of this situation. Publix is one of these Companies. If you pay close attention you will notice that their prices are much higher now than they ever been, I have stop shopping there for good now and I hope you do too.
“We're shopping is no longer a pleasure”
Over priced on everything is the store.I would not waste my government free money on that over priced store.nothing is worth the price they want Nothing.save your money and have a 6 pack for dinner much cheaper and more satisfying then any food products they have.milk 5 dollars.same milk is 350 at walley world.suck it Publix
“NOT a Pleasure.”
Just got back from publix at the corner of SR. 80 and Buckingham Rd in Fort Myers FL. Had a cart with $200 Plus in merchandise, just wanted 2 gallons of TG Lee milk that they are always out of in the case because they only have room to put 4 or 6 gallons of the TG lee milk yet they have dozens and dozens of there own brand. Well the $#*! in the dairy department was more concerned with me leaving the back room than getting me milk even tried to grab me. Left my cart full of groceries and went to Winn Dixie across the street (not much better). Seems like publix has gotten big enough they don't care anymore. Will be a while before i go back. Products used:NONE left all after being pissed off. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Horrible”
A new assistant manager at store 1368 named Eric keeps harassing a young mother and cutting her hrs I've witnessed it myself. I don't find him appropriate at all and no longer wish to shop at this company. I have told others to do the same. She's been working there for years and see how she is treated and they keep cutting her hrs to nothing. She's struggling to pay bills and take care of her child. I feel disgusted that they would let this young man treat anyone this way. I will tell others not to shop at this company.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
