proximus.be Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives proximus.be a medium-high trust score on the platform: 75.5. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 75.5 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to proximus.be's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning proximus.be, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between proximus.be and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of proximus.be. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of proximus.be, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. proximus.be is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether proximus.be has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether proximus.be boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, proximus.be.

Terrible customer service. No help at all from Helpdesk. They just send a link from the FAQ on their website. I can't activate my new eSIM, although it is not my first time, I have never had any issues with other providers. Disgusting.
You can tell if a company is good when there is a problem. My phone that only supports ESIM broke down. I use Proximus ESIM. The phone I am currently using does not support my ESIM. For this reason, I applied for a normal regular SIM at Proximus Shop. They gave me a new normal SIM and told me that I had to wait at most two days. They said that the reason I waited 2 days was the home internet package. My SIM card was not activated. I went to the Proximus store near me again and they gave me a normal SIM card again and this time I received an e-mail. I tried to switch from ESIM to Normal for 4 days. I suffered for 4 days. I contacted customer service twice and they said they opened a ticket and would inform me. I sent an e-mail. But there was no response. I found a solution by transferring my line to Orange. It is just exaggerated signs and there is no such thing as customer service. During this process, I also went to the Apple store to repair my phone. Proximus managers can also go to Apple and take a lesson.I am a real customer and I wrote without exaggerating anything. My customer number is : 343819** to be credible.
Starting june, I noticed my prepaid card's balance started to quickly decrease for no reason. I didn't use it to call, my mobile data is always off etc. Tried reloading it, same thing. The balance just dissapears. After contacting customer support multiple times and re-explaining the issue I just get told that I used it all up to call numbers that I never heard of and that are not in my history or contacts and on mobile data which is not possible because it is always off. 1 time the customer support agent just hung up on me. After calling back I got another one to whom I had to re-explain the issue and the quality was so bad I could barely hear what was being said. At the end the agent said I should call back later because their systems don't work... I also requested a report of my usage to track the numbers where I supposedly called to, but 1 time they told me they couldn't provide it because it's confidential and another time they just ignored my messages. If I have called those numbers up and used it for mobile data, it is my usage, so how can I have no right to get a report of that? Makes no sense.
They have app, web app and with neither of those you are able to make super simple requests. It’s been almost a month that I’m trying to make a phone order, with a business acompte which (they said) that benefits of premium support. Nothing is working, going through chat, phone and in person and my problem is still no solve. But they have my money already. Is crazy how much time I loose trying to fix this with all the back and forward… really tired of this.
This is the worst operator I have known in Belgium. Their workers kept me on chat for 1.5 hours, typing the same answers to me without helping with the problem. Look like as bots also they are rude. Workers' names: Khaoula, Safi, Nerdel. Such a waste, do not transfer your number to this operator. I regret my decision to transfer from MobileVikings, such a good operator.
Awful experience!!!!!The appointment for my installation after moving has been rescheduled three times without consulting me and delayed with two months! No internet no tv but they do send invoices!Still no solution. When trying to contact the service desk: no email so no paper trail. Service per phone: sorry we can’t help! Or: someone is coming tomorrow. No show for three times already. Staying home for nothing.HORRIBLE
The delivery drive was very polite and well mannered he tool the time to show me the vehicle A big thank you to Bill in the office and Des Brady the delivery driver.
I don't have a signal on my mobile phone for 3 days now. I tried to contact Proximus via chat, telephone, and the physical store... Nobody solves the problem and just redirects me to another department or store. Online or telephone, the connection is eventually lost, or nobody answers while I wait for several minutes (20-30 minutes...). My phone works normally with a different SIM card, but my SIM card does not work with another phone (and I did go to a physical store, changed the sim card, and the attendant said that it would work "within hours"). Hopeless to get serious technical help.
Discusting customer service and they lie towards offers. They messed up my plan 3 times meanwhile I contacted them via phone and online. And now after I waited since 27 November for a sim, finally today 9th December sim arrives and I check my plan they charged me full price meanwhile it was discount. To not only say they are very rude and incapable to do their job but they are also liers.
Atrocise services. Having issues with phone service while away on holidays. Can't get onto website, tried ringing customer service and were hung up on twice. Rude, ignorant support team. Hopeless. Will change provider after this experience
Useless service that does not work. Impossibpe to reach people. The only department that actually functions is the billing department.
Horrible customer service. You are basically forced to a chat robot that does not understand the question. Finally going to an agent they put you on hold and then the connection got broken. Really worst experience ever.
Again no roaming possible in the area! The overall quality of reception is low and even at 4G we see barely one-two bars. At home not much better: this week the downloadspeed touched an all time low: 3Mb/sec! That is lower than a call in connection in the early 2000's. This company has no client service (it is afraid to talk to customers) and filing a complaint online is quasi impossible. If it were possible I would give MINUS 1 star. Only solution: change to another provider.
Internet barely working since two days ago, when it started to rain. I'm signaling this issue for OVER A YEAR NOW and there is no fix, more than that myproximus is not working as well so i can't login and pay. DON'T USE proximus, IT'S TERRIBLE!
This is the worst mobile service company I know of! Not only are their prices for the Internet incredibly high, and the application is constantly buggy, but they also periodically steal money from customer accounts. This just happened to me: they took my 25 euros for downloading a 50 MB application! Disgusting company! Be careful and think a hundred times before dealing with these scammers!
Terrible service. Their system is extremely messy and somehow they manage to shut down my service religiously every 6 days. After a call they book a visit (which they not always show up) a technician comes, updates the serial number of the ONT in their system and the internet comes back seconds later, only for 6 days later to drop again. They have no idea what is happening and this has been on going for over one month. General review: If it works = Great service, 100% uptime. If it doesn't = Good luck, they will never fix your issue
Terrible service and countless breakdowns.Useless helpline, so many problems know but not solved.Zero value for money. The highest prices in Belgium for an increasingly poor supply : a real scandal.
I was warned to avoid this company, which I ignored. Only to find out that this is in fact the single worst company possible, dealing with them is pure psychological torture. I was supposed to have my internet installed last Friday. I took a day off work, sitting at home as per instructed 8am - 17h, nobody came. Turns out they made a mistake, and then they disappeared. After 5 phone calls, 10+ attempts on chat, I have now no appointment, no internet, no information. Their customer service is a disaster.
Since installing fibre we go days without internet. Still paying the full amount of course without discount. This is the formula for support: Customer service is not able to inform the technician what to expect, so technician 1 comes without tools (presumably to confirm if we are morons who turned the router off because what else can you check without equipment?). That means there is always a 2nd visit needed. Both of which require you to be home from 8 to 6. The second visit technicians will change a cable or some other superficial nonsense, declare it fixed, leave and 20 minutes later it goes down again. You then have to repeat the whole process.I had significantly better internet when I lived in rural Kenya. I live in the middle of Brussels today.
The worst of worst. Despite the information they have changed the terms of my fixed line when moving to Fiber. Customer service complete useless. You feel like an hostage without any possibility to defend your customer rights in the capital of EU !!!!

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
