pogo.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives pogo.com a fairly high trust score on the platform: 80.6. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Fair. Valid. Known.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 80.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to pogo.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning pogo.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between pogo.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of pogo.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of pogo.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. pogo.com is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether pogo.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether pogo.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, pogo.com.

“If I could give it a 0, I would”
I received messages in my inbox from Pogo.com letting me know that they granted me gems totaling over 2200 gems because of all of the trouble I was encountering on the games on their website and I login the next day to only 10. The day before that players weren't allowed to spend any of their gems and that is probably why. They were probably taking all of the gems granted to the players, that were having the problems in Merge Academy, back. I just want them to do the right thing and return them to my account. I have been to the help desk to no avail. I was awarded gems 3 different times between 2 days. If only there was a way to get into my account and it would probably show that they were given and then taken away. I have the screenshots of the messages that were sent to my pogo account letting me know that. They basically stole from my account. Service Quality
“Terrible”
For the last 20 years pogo has steady gone down hill. They have a lot of technical issue, no more jackpot spins, no more easily to chat in chat rooms. Took the tokens away that showed our status as a hard rock players. Took the poker rooms away, along with a lot of cool adult games and replace those with kiddy ones. I would not play on EA game site if it was free. EA and Pogo sucks.
“Pogo has too many issues”
How can you continue to take my money and provide such a poor product. I only play scrabble and have identified at least 6 issues which prevent me from enjoying this game. I once loved to play. Now, if I can find an opponent, it always ends up with me having to make adjustments or end the game due to tech, issues. I will not recommend this to anyone, nor renew.
“Lousy game playing”
Pogo is no longer a fun experience when playing any games, they restart while in the middle of a game. There is no way of really trying to enjoy the crap that is dished out by players. Constantly get people that freeze games. Since they've been taken over it basically sucks.
“FAKE FRAUD FONY (Phony)”
As a customer I did my part... when it was time to pay up... and we're talking a little over $5... I couldn't withdraw... Their algorithm is set up so customers can complain, they do a fake review and delete your account...I contacting the BBB and anyone else to get this FRAUD services off the internet... Burn in 🔥 Pogo... You probably have no shame heartless?OB's Tip for consumers:Stay away.... Products used:Pogo website platform... Service Value Quality
“I used to love Pogo”
I was a member for years. However, they increased their advertising of badges, trying to upsell you, to the point where they take you to a "buy another badge" screen after every single time you play your game. So if you're on a winning streak, a "run", you get bounced out to that screen every time and have to click your way back to your game. I'm so fed up with all the marketing and ads being shoved down your throat, I quit. I will quit any tech or media company now that uses me as a pawn for their advertising (no matter how much I pay them). It's never enough…. They always want…."more". I'm done with it. Service Value Returns Quality
“Scammer”
Don't purchase this meter this why. The test pods are expensive. The Patterns APP does not keep a sold connection with Bluetooth from the meter. You have use multiple test and you my connect but the you wasted 3-4 test. I feel that no effort is made to fix app so you order more test pods. The reading are always off by 10-12 pods Over all it sucks to expensive no confidence in the reading. Tip for consumers:Looks cool but don't work with app Products used:Test pods Service Value Shipping Quality
“WAY TOO EXPENSIVE”
I have been a club pogo member since 2003... almost 20 years. Since EA took it over, it's a bunch of BS, scamming, deck stacking, money grabbing BS! The games are near impossible to win unless you spend more money for power ups to get through the upper levels. Tired of being scammed. Don't waste your money because it WILL suck you in. Service Value Quality
“Not Worth Your Time”
Playing Scrabble with other players is a waste of time as they use online cheats. Playing the computer set on so called expert mode means I beat the computer 99% of time. Playing the computer means the computer cheats. I played the last letter in a traditional rules game, meaning I would get the points left in the computer's rack and the computer would have to deduct these from the computer's score. Pogo let the computer play after I played, thus causing the computer to win the game. Pogo does not allow words found in a traditional game that violate their woke agenda. Tip for consumers:Avoid unless you like wasting your time. Products used:Online games. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Stacking the deck”
I play canasta on pogo. It takes me a while to get my rating up and it stays up for a little bit. Then I start losing every game and it is amazing how fast my opponent can go out each and every hand in a game. I really think that pogo is maneuvering the cards around for this very purpose. Some people never lose their high rating. Makes me wonder!
“Suck”
They suck they cut your lights off when it's cold n when you done put something on your lights 5 minutes before 11am they still turn them off n they have no free nothing n always repeating the same stuff when you call in they tax like it ain't nothing your bill can be a negative 10 bucks n you gotta put 20 to 30 bucks to be back n the positive smh worst company ever dont stop here Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“POGO NO LONGER WANTS PLAYERS WHO DONT PAY THEIR BLOOD MONEY”
I have enjoyed playing scrabble for some time.Lately POGO has come up with a process to deny playing. They send you on a run around process to give them inforjmation. Make anew passsword. Then tellyou your password is invalid over and over again. Pogo should be ashamed. Scrabble was one of the last games available to all and now seems not to be available to everyone any more Pogo sucks written by an upset angry senior citizen
“Scrabble game”
If you play scrabble as a non member of the club you are going to lose. Either you only get 6 letter at a point during the game or the letter you get are ridiculous like iiioout game is geared to almost gaurantee you lose if you dont pay them a monthly fee for to give you a much better chance of winning. How cheap and fair is tha t!
“Dont let your kid play your games”
My 9 year old put in his age, which is required before playing games. Now I can no longer play anything on the computer that he put it in because of age restriction (that is what you get for being honest). Dear Pogo, people of many ages use one computer and this is a big flaw in the system. Even If I wanted to subscribe/join... guess I can´t, what a joke! PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PUT AGE YOUNGER THAN 18 to confirm this, you will be pi**ed. Please see image of what I see every time I open ¨pogo¨ site on this particular laptop.
“Improvement”
Pogo is working on the customer service and recently got back to me with help for a technical problem in good time. They were able to make it right, so things are looking up as they actually connect with their consumers.
“Absolute RipOff Scam”
Do Not send Pogo ANY MONEY. They cancel you, tell you there is a problem with your bank and want MORE MONEY. Total thieves. Not kidding. Spent numerous time consuming attempts trying to get what I ALREADY PAID FOR, WORTHLESS! Never treated so poorly by anyone on the internet! AVOID Products used:They processed money and gave NOTHING
“The games you can get into are great, but it is the getting in and staying in that stinks!”
Pogo used to be a great, fun place. It has gone downhill for several years now. Tech support was always lousy and is even worse now. They dance you all around and want to change setting on your pc.It doesn't matter what they do it takes 10 to 15 minutes to get into Scrabble. Why? It didn't used to be like that. There hasn't been a new game for my Ipad in 7 years. Same five games. If anyone knows a better site for Scrabble please let me know. Maybe I can get my 40 bucks back?
“They now connect Facebook to the bots!”
You think your playing bots but I found things turn slow and deal cards fast. That's because people are connecting through other sites. Screw it up for a while and it tells you player disconnected. EA Sports purchased Pogo so got rid of rewards and turned it in to a purchase website. You don't even win tokens anymore. The price now is the same for at least 200 less games. There are now very few fun games to play. I'm ending my membership on renewal due to someone in EA Sports took out $500.00 right after paying my dues last Christmas and I had to file a dispute. EA Sports Employees are not Trusted after that. I don't recommend anyone to give EA Sports your credit card information! Service Value Quality
“Pogo sucks”
I hate Pogo now they ruined it, been playing since 2001, I will never buy a membership ever again, what a crappy bunch of games, some advice for pogo, put all your new ideas in the toilet and flush them, go back to old pogo! I am done with this junk!
“A Total Rip-Off”
If you love playing cards with a stacked deck and rolling loaded dice, you'll love Pogo. They've recently done away with the Java and Flash games that have entertained their customer for years, a technological event over which Pogo has no control, but they've replaced them with HD games that are designed to be unwinnable unless one spends real money, and lots of it, buying boosters. The graphics are terrible, too. Don't waste your time.
“If I could give it a minus 10, I would”
I use to love Pogo. Now they have taken everything I liked away. My favorite games are gone and more will be gone soon. Customer service is beyond horrific. The new games with their 5 year old cartoon are awful. It's hard to navigate. I was going to quit but Pogo took money from my bank account without any notice or warning. They will not do anything to stop the cheaters (bots) even when dozens of people have complained for years about the same ones over and over. We're losing a lot and they just don't care! They're going to have a mutiny because it's just HORRIBLE!
“SAVE YOUR MONEY!”
Games constantly crash and freeze. Like most internet sites like this a place for full grown adults to act poorly. Some good people but few and far between. I was a member for years. Should have left sooner. They will tell you what you want to hear but never fix anything this site is just going to crash and burn. I would give it 0 if I could. I saw one set of reviews for this that gave it 5 stars I don't know who they are paying for that one, certainly not the players. Too many free apps out there.
“Notice how all the good reviews were from 2008?”
Notice how all the good reviews were from 2008? I've been trying to give them some money for a game purchase for 2 weeks. I joined their "super saver" last week and have been frustrated in purchasing a game. They are clearly inept! I WILL be questioning the charge on my credit card due to poor service... actually, NO service!
“Chhota bheem animation”
I love chhota bheem very very much. I have watched all movies of chhota bheem. In older movies chhota bheem was so good peaceful and a very good fighter like in master of shaolin, shinobi secret and Kathmandu now it's not good to watch it looks like a small child and comedian he doesn't look like a good fighter. I had watched some movies I didn't feel like that bheem please bring my favourite hero back
“Ripoff Alert!”
Our whole family has been subscribed off and on for years and now since the Java update in 2015 none of the games are playable unless you download Explorer (seriously ppl still use this?) and now they are losing all Hasbro. The site is obviously dying a very slow death. Save your money and play elsewhere.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below.
