plus500.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives plus500.com a low trust score on the platform: 38.9. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Questionable. Controversial. Flagged.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 38.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to plus500.com's industry. The algorithm detected possible high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Questionable. Controversial. Flagged. tags above. Long story short, we caution you about using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning plus500.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between plus500.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of plus500.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of plus500.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. plus500.com is a questionable website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether plus500.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether plus500.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, plus500.com.

You guys are the best. Everything that a trader needs. Facts and figures. You were offering a bonus when you join is it still available? Back to you, Plus500 is excellent a real professional trading platform. Not for these chances.
It a fantastic platform I’m learning the ropes slowly it’s crazy to watch daily events unfold. I have learnt that if you want to trade you do need to dedicate a lot of time to the platform in order to use it to its fullest potential and I don’t have that’s time
Easy account to set up, great rates of interest. A clear picture of everything when you log on. Great recommendation By Youcef Gasmi
I love it it’s so easy to use and sort any problems they just need more tickers of everything
I have never experienced something like this; everything is clear and simple
The platform itself, the updates and a lot of market information in one place
I've been trading with Plus500 for a few years and have not had a single unpleasant experience. My trades are captured timeously, my deposits go through instantly, my withdrawals have all been within 3 days. As long as Plus500 continues the same, I will not change. Keep it up.
I`ve been trading on a dummy account for eight weeks now and doing ok, So until I switch to real account, then who knows I may well be rating 5 stars.
The chart and many indicators u can add
No hassle in deposits or withdrawal. Sometimes the withdrawals take less than a day to reflect in the account. Easy to use app. Highly recommended. Moreover very prompt in responding to queries online.
Plus500 offer products with excessive leverage and design their platform in a manner that makes it easy to make errors - for example they display their heavily leveraged options contracts directly below spot FX. Furthermore, I had an issue last year where an order 10x the value I input was executed. I immediately contacted Plus500 who denied any error on their part. I later escalated this to a complaint and requested information on the steps they'd taken to validate that there hadn't been a mismatch or a bug between the front end UI and the order book. I received a rude "final response" from their complaints team suggesting I contact the Ombudsman...which I shall now do. There are far better brokers out there in every sense - stay away.
wait until I fall asleep trading for your site and then we'll see
Good trading platform and low spread
Yes . I have best experience in trading . However if get some tips will be better for me
Easy to use platform. I do wish you can manually setup your stop loss and buy limits live as you are trading since most platforms have implemented this feature. However, the execution rate is rapid and pretty accurate. There are many features this platform has which I have not explored as of yet. I do aforementioned feature can be added in the future.
Something very fishy about this platform ...numbers are never reflecting real time..and points only move 20 points behind..
easy to access and understand how to use it
Last Friday, I invested in US TECH 100 24 Sept CFDs using the Plus500 platform. As usual, I used the stop profit functionality. It is clear that immediately before the mini-crash due to CrowdStrike issues, eToro, Investing.com, and Trading212 showed an increase in the value of the instrument. The only trading platform that did not show this increase was Plus500. The problem is that I placed the stop profit at the level of the previous maximum, which was below the value achieved before the crash. As a result, I lost €210 + €80 (my stop profit value) due to an error on Plus500's part. This has completely destroyed my trust in Plus500, and I will be filing a complaint with the market regulator. Additionally, they are insisting that I was looking at the wrong instrument or the wrong contract timeframe, but I used the link they provided to verify their claim.
I have been using Plus500 platform from last 4 year it’s one of the greatest platforms I ever use
everything is just easy and really good to learn. ive been on the demo trying every strategy that will actually work for me and honestly ive had a great experiance the only thing i dont like is the way the fibonacci setting is set up but other than that no conplains

“Fraud”

I've had investment on stock just before the first Friday at the month when the most important news coming out. Had a stop loss at 10.50 and it close me out at 10.80. Few minutes after went 100+%. Horrible experience. No support or whatsoever I've been told is normal. Service Value Quality

“Opportunistic scammers - google plus500 complaints”

I have closed 3 positions and they did not put the profit in my account. It has simply just disappeared and now Plus500 are giving me the run a round. I have had to make a formal compliant to the Australian financial complaints authority. Keep away from this mob, there are plenty of better more trusted platforms Tip for consumers:use a different platform or just throw your cash out of the car window. Service Value Quality

“Could have been better...”

Their services are certainty not of " The Best CFD Trader in Europe ", if you wish to have such a claim, you should aim for a higher standard of employment. The broker which was assigned to me is very informed about trading but he finds difficulty sticking to our scheduled calls and always comes up with an excuse. The withdrawal procedure is also difficult but manageable

“Stay away for them”

Only gullible people "invest" money with dodgy websites with no known business, no reputation etc. No address also a very bad trust index, many bad reviews on the Internet, domain is less than 6 months old, the owner of the domain name is hidden, it's a short life expectancy domain. All thanks to fus.ion.forensicstech They help me recoup my funds... Tip for consumers:fusionforensicstech helps me Service Value Quality

“Not a forgettable experience.”

It was a certain agent of theirs that convinced to invest a large amount, a certain type of investment plan or whatever. Lost my money to trades I never authorised and the matter went on for several months claiming it was all my fault. Devastated and didn't know what to do, go assistance from winconsultants, ltd that took it all up and I was able to win against them and my 236k was returned back to me. I could not forget this whole experience so easily. Service Value Quality

“Cheats cheats cheats”

Plus 500 are a regulated company. However they are trading the markets against client funds. They are manipulating the spreads and prices of instruments in their favour. This limits the potential losses they would have and obviously reduces your chance of any profits or breakeven. They say that their profits do not include customer losses. But it does. They are not allowed do this under the obligations and hence you are trading against all other traders and also the manipulation tactics of plus 500. It is a pandemic with this company. Just search for the reviews and you will hear the underhand tactics that is being employed by them

“Worst Platform”

I have an issue with withdrawal. And i raised ticket as of today almost 6 days over and no response from them. Now they disabled my live chat communiy. I contacted with seniore department and they are also making silence. I request everyone not to invest any fund for this platform

“Stay away”

After trading with them for over 4 years, i Was eventually scammed. No thanks to financial ombudsmen. They were not able to help me out not until i met Mr Lucas at Zenithsecurity. Org. You can reach them for help if having similar issues.

“Get the peace of mind you deserve”

Being a scam victim can depressing, you were given empty promises. They usually stop replying after achieving their aim with hurts even more, i have been there too as i was too ambitious and wanted financial security which made me invest a chunk of my life savings. I never thought i would be getting back a dime back and already lost hope until i contacted a team whihc was just a leap of faith as i wasn't going to go down without a fight. Hooper group, a recovery team that helped me get a significant sum of my investment. Do not brood alone, make a move too, mail to their team recovery@ hoopergroup. Tech

“Stay away from this scam company!”

My time, energy and money was wasted by the agents from this firm, i went ahead to invest with them and it all ended in tears even though i ignored all the advise from my colleagues at work who was also a victim of this ponzi scheme. It was too late before i realized i have been defrauded. This was really a sad situation and a terrible nightmare for me as i took some loan to start investing initially. I am so happy the roller coaster experience is over as i was able to recover all my lost investments with profit ph il ip sa nkey 1961 at tutanota com, feel free to reach out fellas as i am open to share my experience. “How to recover your money”

Abcdebtcollectors, com is your best option when it comes to getting your money back. They have already helped to resolved hundreds of cases and have the experience and know-how to successfully track down and recover your scammed funds. With their help, I was able to recover the $76,000 I invested in plus 500.

“They stole my money”

They stole my money with lies of crypto investment it was unbelievable, wouldn't even be here alerting others if Geminihacks -.- com didn't recover my funds for me.

“They will at all cost take your money one way or another”

If I could give 0 I would If I could give 0 I would. They are complete and utter SCAM SCAM SCAM. They froze the app in multiple occasions while live trading and closed my positions on margin calls while trying to deposit telling me my bank refused while via debit card when just 5 min later £209 was deposited via APPLEPAY with the same card and because not require to be confirmed by them 2 times but only once the transaction went through but at that point I lost £1000 with 5 marginal calls coinciding with the exact times of deposits attempts. When I confronted them with screenshots and proof…they replied "it was investigated and we do not find and any issue with our platform please contact your bank to sort" I then understood I was waisting my time and decided to contact the FCA and all reviewing websites to make sure this hopefully does not happen to anyone else. STAY AWAY! Plus500 is an utter scam. Tip for consumers:STAY AWAY AT YOUR OWN BENEFIT!! Trust me there are FAR Better brokers out there. Products used:Contracts for difference Service Value Quality

“Clause 22.6 of the User Agreement”

Clause 22.6 of the User Agreement My Experience with Plus500 - A Cautionary TaleAs a former client of Plus500, I must share my experience to benefit others who are contemplating using this trading platform. This review centres around the abrupt termination of my account and the substantial financial loss that ensued, spotlighting the critical aspects potential users should be wary of, especially Clause 22.6 of the User Agreement. Clause 22.6 allows Plus500 to terminate the relationship with its clients, with or without cause, merely by providing written notice. This clause was invoked in my case, as communicated by an email from a Plus500 representative, leading to an immediate and unexplained termination of my account. The repercussions were severe, culminating in a personal financial loss exceeding $150,000.The execution of this clause without a comprehensive explanation or a prior discussion not only highlights a significant transparency and communication gap but also points to a potential disregard for the financial well-being of clients. The experience has prompted me to question the platform's practices and approach to client relationships and dispute resolution. For those considering Plus500 as a trading platform, I urge you to proceed cautiously. Thoroughly review the User Agreement, paying close attention to clauses that could affect your financial investment. My ordeal underscores the importance of understanding the full scope of your agreement with Plus500 and the potential risks involved. In conclusion, my experience with Plus500 has been incredibly disheartening, characterised by a lack of cleacharacterisedon, support, and, most importantly, fairness. The financial loss and how my account was terminated have left a lasting impact, prompting me to share this review to provide a cautionary perspective to others. How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Guardio has over a million users, and while it is already affordable for the benefits it provides (just a few dollars a month), it covers up to 5 family members. How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
