optimummobile.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives optimummobile.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 65.2. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 65.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to optimummobile.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning optimummobile.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between optimummobile.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of optimummobile.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of optimummobile.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. optimummobile.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether optimummobile.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether optimummobile.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, optimummobile.com.

I have had a broken phone since April, calling everyday for a replacement from 2nd day. It was free with sign up. Naturally, after 21 days, they tell me I only had 21 days to return. Too bad for me. Now, I'd have to pay $100 for a new one. After 4 months they agreed to give me a new phone, just go to the N. Babylon store and the clerk will see it on her pc. Well the 2 girls behind the counter said no, the agent said that just to get me off her back. I went home called Opt. and the woman said she sees it clear as day, they are to replace my broken phone. So having no reception, frequently can't get a call to connect, people can't hear me isn't bad enough. Takes me multiple tries to even get the keypad open to place call, Many time keypad is useless when a business tells you what to press for service. I get "Goodbye." There are so many other reasons not to use this company for mobile.
This company is awful. They have been trying to collect from an account that never existed as they opened a new account for my mother as she was canceling another. Her goal was to cancel, they signed her up. She and I have called to cancel more than six times, each time more than an hour on the phone. Still not done. They’ve been billing. We haven’t paid. They sent it to collections. Forget them! They are crooks and should not be dealt with. Stay far away.
I have been an Optimum customer, and I keep having issues with international calling. In October 2023, I traveled to Malta and purchased an international calling plan. When abroad, I had major issues with texting. I notified Optimum and submitted a detailed report to their engineers. I did not receive any kind of refund or compensation for all this inconvenience. In fact, I felt gaslighted by their customer service, despite not being able to text abroad. Last week, I traveled to London and Italy. When I was signing up for the international plan, I called Optimum and was reassured that the issues were solved. When I was abroad, my service was very inconsistent. Sometimes I could make calls, but most times I could not. Texting was also a major issue. I documented everything with screenshots. Upon return, I notified Optimum, and I was gaslighted again. They completely disregarded my complaint because, (their words), some of the calls and some of the texts did go through. This is unacceptable. I want a full refund for the inconvenience and I would like Optimum to investigate this issue instead of brushing it off and ignoring their customers.
Worst customer service experience I’ve had in America. They charge you for months after you leave. Customer service just says it’s company policy to whatever you don’t like and expect you to be okay. Cell phone coverage is by far the worst. Text messages don’t come in and expect lots of dropped calls if you get a call. They up charged me everywhere and promised bill credits that I never got. Be careful with this place. I would never recommend this phone service carrier for anyone. Even after the weeks I spent trying to get my number ported they said it went a couple days into the new bill cycle so they charged me another month cell service for something they didn’t provide. They don’t prorate bills like other cellular service providers. If you close your account they say they lose access and guess what, that means if you closed your account and you don’t know they are charging you still another month, they will hit you with a late fee and remove all bill credits and say since the account is closed they can’t do anything about it. IT’s company policy. Ariel customer support supervisor for optimum Mobil told me that today in a chat. I have the screenshots. Do not go with optimum. If you can find any other carriers your better off.
BUYER BEWARE! Optimum mobile took over for suddenlink. Already they are scamming people I recently contacted them about the Plan I had I explained to them that I am traveling a lot and need to go a plan that will give me unlimited data as I will need it to streammovies and such use internet for business and have to use the hot spot for my lap top The women assured me that the data will never slow unlimited! So I upgraded to the best plan they had! Then I get a notice that me speeds will slow down because I used the limit! These pieces of crap scammers. I called and waited like 1/2 hours on hold after waiting the whole weekend to get in touch with them the person looked up the account and told me that I over went the limit I asked how he told me sorry that person shouldn't have told me that😬 I was livid after I told him to fix it and give me credit he said he can't but can charge me 6 $ for a other 1 gb of data and can only do it 3 times😈 now I have to way a whole month! the guy told me that that's the way it is! I told him. Im gonna drop them and he was like whatever POS underpaid idiot was rude. I have a phone with them im buying I will definetly leave them as soon as I can figure out how. He told me that I can't leave with phone til it's paid off. Im ready to send them back the phone and say F-U to them thier service sucks and it's not worth it to stay with them! Buyer Beware! Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
