Recently my white HomePod has failed to boot up after it stopped responding. I took it to an Apple Store and they said they offer no repair service, best thing is to buy a new one. I look on Yelp to see if there is a local repair shop but couldn't find anyone. I searched YouTube to see if it's something I can do myself, then I stumbled upon Nic's channel. After watching it I was impressed and also realized that it's beyond my skill, so I contacted Nic for repair. He gave me pretty clear instructions on how to ship it to his place and I did so.What surprised me is that he sent me a link to his YT livestream while he was repairing my HomePod! Mind blown. I watched it and saw it was repaired. I received it back pretty quickly and it was working like a charm. I couldn't recommend it enough to anyone who has a non-working HomePod.

Nic says exactly what he will do and does it.Obviously knows his way around a HomePod and anything else with an IC, component, etc. The video is great. Amazing to watch an expert at work. Excellent value too.

My homepod broke several years ago. Almost deep sixed it several times, before I heard about Nic’s Fix. Turnaround was just under a week and my HomePod is now fully functional again. The whole process was simple and straightforward. I highly recommend you give Nic a look before you toss that HomePod.

What can I say? My HomePod was wasn't working. I sent it to Nic and it came back fully functional for under $90, including shipping both ways. Turn-around was fast, and being able to see it repaired live was a bonus. I recommend without reservation sending him your pod rather than tossing it.

Had a broken homepod that wouldn't power it on -- found out about Nic's Fix through social media. Sent it off. He repaired it the same day he received it, streamed the entire repair on youtube, and shipped it back the next day in perfect condition.The service was so good I felt bad only paying $60 + shipping, so sent him a few extra bucks.Incredible experience, can't recommend him enough. All Apple offered me after a 45 minute one way journey to visit a “Genius” was $20 off a NIB 1st Gen HomePod they must have gathering dust in a warehouse. “Sorry, we don’t do repairs here at this trillion dollar company.” Nic, on the other hand offered me a multi-year life extension of a great product that needed $2 of parts replaced for a fantastic repair cost with turnaround time Apple could never muster. 5/5. 10/10. All the Stars.

This was one of the better online experiences I have had: busted Homepod, searched how to fix and Nic's videos came on, sent speaker to him and watched while he fix in real time. Very cool. The speaker returned a few days later and works flawlessly. Nic was professional and made the entire process easy. Excellent communication the entire time, I would definately recommend. I hope he is able to grow his channel.

Nic did a fantastic job repairing my HomePod. It had turned into a paperweight. Though Nic provides great videos on how to repair it myself, I didn't want to bother with it. I've not soldered such small components before and didn't want to take a chance to that I'd screw it up. Fantastic communication!

Update:Nic apologized to me profusely and I understand that he is busy. I am going to proceed with having him repair the HomePod given his sincerity and candor and how apologetic and honest he was. Did not reply to my emails after the initial quite reasonable offer to repair my bricked HomePod. Poor communication, I am glad I didn’t just blindly send it to him since emails have gone days without a response. Most disappointing, I was hopeful that my HomePod would be resurrected but as the saying goes, if it seems too good to be true, it often is. Not saying he doesn’t do great work or not because I never got that far. He simply did not respond to my emails which made me very leery to just ship off my device to him.

I highly recommend Nic’s HomePod repair service. He’s fast, inexpensive, and transparent with his work. After shipping my HomePod to Nic, he repaired it on the day he received it and shipped it back the next day. It was very gratifying watching Nic fix my HomePod in realtime and see it actually working again on the stream. I wish more repair services handled their business as Nic does.

Great work, professional service. Nic's repair fixed my HomePod perfectly. I am a hardware EE and I greatly appreciated the extensive knowledge of homepods Nic possesses. The component & circuit level analysis Nic provides on his site is quite impressive and better than what I've seen some in actual hardware design reviews.

I was TOTALLY impressed with Nic’s proficiency, attention to detail, and communication as I watched him repair my unit on YouTube.
