Is nellisauction.com Legit?

My new addiction! I love this place. You have to read the descriptions well and not get too carried away but the website is easy, communication is first class and the staff pleasant and friendly. I have made some very nice purchases here. Its a good drive but it only takes a couple of minutes to pick u once you are there. Plenty of parking. Fun experience.

I love bidding on nellis, it’s become my favorite thing to do. I have gotten some great deals on things I have wanted. I actually get excited about it. I save money on everything I have won. Easy to do, easy people to work with. No complaints here.

I love everything about Nellis Auction. The prices and great service during pickup. I have already recommended to several of my friends.

I’ve been having trouble with Nellis’s description of the items being auctioned. They have been incorrect. I bid on a 8 cube stacking metal organizer & received a metal cat cage. I also have received items that have been broken or dented & the description did not state as such. I bid on a certain baby gate & received an entirely different one. I have been very disappointed with the items lately.

Nellis is a great opportunity to get amazing deals on items. The customer service is excellent.

I’m a frequent shopper and overall I enjoy shopping from Nellis until today. I waited over an hour and a half for my items. The manager Krystal Ortiz approached me with a bad attitude to inform me I can get a credit or I can leave her alone. I was also on the phone with Nellis customer service to address the hour long wait and Krystal walked away and again giving a rude attitude and look. This is very unfortunate to write a review about a manager that shows little to none compassion for the long wait. Honestly the employees were much more helpful and nice than the manager. Customer service had me on hold for 25mins, I did not receive a credit or an apology for the way I was treated. Nellis should reconsider who is the weekend manager due to the unprofessional attitude and lack of compassion coming from the current manager Krystal Ortiz during busy hours like the weekend.My pick up time was scheduled for 1130am and you can clearly see I was on the phone with customer service at Nellis Auction past 13mins. I was on hold for over 20mins time stamp at 12:39. The customer service agent who answered that called said all my items were ready and no items were being live picked since I had a scheduled pick up for 11:30am which was confirmed to the in house staff as I put my phone on speaker. After arriving at home, the customer service manager also confirmed I had 3 scheduled pick ups for 11:30am.i have texted confirmation of 3 pick ups and screenshots of how long I was on the phone with customer service with date and time well passed 1 hr of my schedule pick up.Photo 1 of 2

Is anyone else having trouble with what they buy from Nellis Auction…the description said no missing parts and the last few things I’ve bought have had to be returned because of MISSING PARTS! Today I went to pick up a $350 foot messager and guess what it wasn’t to be found! So they gave me a refund BUT that doesn’t help my neuropathy!! I am so disappointed!!!! I do NOT trust this set up and buyer beware! Even if you check your boxes at pickup if they can’t find your purchase you are out of luck and lose!

Nellis Auction is great! They are fair, upfront and straightforward when it comes to describing an item up for auction. They describe the items as best as they can. If your item is any different from the description, they will gladly accept the return for a full refund. The facility is nice and clean and pick-ups are very easy. Friendly staff as well. I enjoy the excitement of bidding and even more, winning! Prices do not get too high. You always save on the cost of your item whether it is brand new or slightly used. I feel happy whenever I use an item that I purchased from Nellis Auction because I know I paid a good price. Retail prices in stores or online are so high these days. It's nice to have Nellis as an alternative.

What can I say, can’t be easier. Bid on what you like, know if it is new or used, missing pieces. When you win the bid, schedule and pick could not be better. Easy ride into the facility, great people to help direct you where to park. Team member checks you in and another member brings your item out and places it in your car. Every time a won a bid I was in and out in 5 minutes. If I could I would buy stock in this business.

Nellis auction sold TONS of packages of counterfeit Alli weight loss pills and then refused to refund me even though they know they sold many counterfeit items. This ruined my reputation on eBay and I had to refund all my buyers. Nellis auction is so unprofessional and wouldn't even reply to my numerous complaints. I would never buy from Nellis auction if you plan to resell on the Internet because they often sell counterfeit items & refuse to refund.

It’s so frustrating being excited about winning items and then when you go and pick them up they always give you different things because their staff doesn’t know how to accurately list or describe items. Don’t waste your time because you’ll end up having to return a lot of what you think you won. Not a one time occurrence either. 5 out 6 of my experiences have been wrong.

Lets bid twice as much as you would pay online for a damaged item, then pay 22% more with taxes and fees. You thought you won, then you get it home. Yes you wasted 100 dollars. They added 30 seconds 20 times just to find the one person that didn't do the math.Let me look at 3200 mouse pads to see if I want to bid on that used coloring book for $20

I got some great deals initially, but have had several issues with items. Items clearly damaged and pieces missing when stated 5* condition. With the recent bid extension change, I won’t purchase again. I don’t even bid until the last minute, because bidding early just drives up the price. Last minute bidding is totally fair and even eBay does not interfere with the bid process. Good luck, NellisAuction….I hope you retain the customers who are novice bidders. Serious and experienced customers are gone.

It has been almost 7 months since I regularly started bidding on Nellis Auction site. It was going well until the last 2-3 months. Nowadays, it feels like a gambling site with their unlimited 30 second time increments until Nellis Auction decides to end the bidding for (an) item/s.A few of my experiences on Nellis Auction:1. Everything I have won through bidding is Amazon returned items - either used, damaged, or missing parts. As a result, I have had to return 50% of the items. 2. If I am not cross checking the price of the items, I am either paying more or the current market price with the15% buyer's premium. 3. Anything they claim as new is never new. All items are amazon returns with serious defects or missing/wrong parts. 4. I don't trust their promotional credits or in-store refunds as they expire sooner than when they notify you via emails.I will never go back to Nellis Auction to bid on anything ever again.

Site use to be pretty good until they added 30 seconds to the timer for each last minute bids, extending bidding indefinitely. Its causing items to go for retail or more in the bidding frenzy and it doesn't help they inflate estimated retail prices on many items.

They have become greedy and super shady with the new “extended time” nonsense as items are counting down. Defeats the whole concept of an auction in this manner. Pathetic. Also, whoever is conducting quality control of items listed needs to be retrained or fired. 2/3 of the items I’ve bought had undisclosed damage issues resulting in returns.

I got some great deals! People are complaining about the extra 30 second thing but think about if you were at a live auction, the bidding continues until people drop out. THAT'S HOW AUCTIONS WORK. This isn't Ebay!! If someone bids with 30 seconds left, you have a chance to go in and up your bid. Put in the max you would pay from the start and stop complaining!

I LOVE this place! It has become more competitive now that so many people know about it but I still get amazing deals. Over the years I've probably won over 100 items and I've never had any issues with the staff or with returning items. I've only experienced about a 10% defect rate (items not accurately described) which is a bummer when it happens but I don't think it’s all that bad when dealing with retail returns. If you bid at Nellis, make sure you view the actual photos, read all the notes, confirm the retail price yourself, and expect some items to have something that was missed by the people listing the item. If you do that, you can get great deals.

My last pick up at 3 locations of a bunch of things was terrible, almost everything was either damaged or different than what I thought I was bidding on. And what’s the point of having a specific time bidding ends if Nellis just keeps adding more time?? Lately the items purchased have been 👎🏻 but this adding time garbage is a load, and it will definitely deter me from dealing with Nellis Auction. To be fair, the people at the pick up sites are always so nice😇

When you arrive, there are no directions where to go. Their "check-in" system was down, so you couldn't check-in. There are no "public" restrooms, which was not what you want to hear after a 3hr drive. I called the phone number on the website, and after being on hold over 30 mins, I gave up. This was the worst experience I have ever had, and I had to pay 15% ($90) for the privilege. The staff were very polite and helpful,but the management doesn't know how to treat a customer. Save yourself the aggravation and don't buy here. I know I never will again!
