This security chain is bomb-proof...or at least thief-proof. We wanted a chain that will give us peace of mind in securing our expensive e-bikes. Though you cannot carry this while cycling, it's perfect for locking up bikes while transporting them on a bike rack, long road trips, and anytime you need to secure them while not cycling. Bravo, Murphy Industrial!

First purchase from this vendor. I was looking for a length of high strength chain, with a sleeve cover. Found them via a search engine on the internet. Selection and purchase went very well. Shipping, packaging, and delivery: reasonable, securely packed, and expedient with good tracking. Much better than the typical Amazon experience. Cost of items very good and better than other vendors. Their system allowed me to get exactly what I wanted. Technical details of items on website very helpful in selection process. Ordered six foot lengths of 3/4” chain for powerlifting training. Probably not the typical use case but great product for my purposes. Heavier and cheaper than I was able to find on the websites of various workout equipment manufacturers. Simple ordering process. Arrived within a couple of days, though I live just north of Houston.

The 12 mm Pewag chain arrived in a reasonable time and appears to be well made and finished. I have not tried to cut it, and I doubt any wannabe thief will either unless he has a cutting torch. It looks pretty daunting. With a Sigtuna lock with 5/8" hardened shackle it should deter any but the most determined pro thief. There are many boats in the moorage more expensive and less securely locked than mine.

I placed an order for items that were shown to be in-stock. Turned out one of the items was not in stock. Murphy offered me a substitute, which actually cost a little more than what I’d originally ordered, at no additional cost to me. That is outstanding Customer Service for this day & age. 👍👍

Murphy Industrial is the best! Excellent customer service by friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had a small job that was a very low cost order, but they treated it like a priority, and gave us exceptional service and pricing. They know their business and they treat you right. My package was supposed to be sent USPS postage paid, instead it came postage due (only $3, but the total order was only $4). Plus I lost a week trying to safely get the USPS envelope with cash to our carrier. I emailed fred at murphyindustrialproducts.com to explain the situation---I didn't ask for a refund, etc, just a "sorry" would've been fine. But no answer from fred. The products i ordered were OK, but the rest of the experience not so much.

I called about finding the right product before my purchase. They were exceptionally helpful and patient. The gear came and was exact what I needed, with published certificates to make the Structural Engineer's job easy. Will be using Murphy for all my rigging needs.

Murphy Industrial Products had the item I was looking for (coated steel cable) for a reasonable price and with free shipping. The item arrived quickly, too. Availability, reasonable pricing, and no added cost (other than tax) is a recipe for happy customers.

I gave this a 4-star rating. Murphy rates a 5-star, however, the tow hook was somewhat disappointing. First, it was supposed to be a G7 hook. Usually, that designation is stamped on the hook itself; it wasn't. I almost returned it until I noticed that just the number "7" was stamped on the Clevis Pin, along with "China." Makes me wonder if the hook itself is actually G7. I'm fed-up with Chinese slop. A product like this should be Made in USA. To my point, I had to grind the hitch opening, as there were metal projections that restricted the proper dimension of that opening. Looked more like a casting than a forged piece. The Chinese will cut corners at every turn to pocket a dime, at Your expense.

Security chain and lock were exactly as described and were at a decent price too. Shipping was faster than expected. Entire transaction was excellent and I'll definitely be back next time I need a similar item.

My parts were sent within a day or two of my ordering. When the package arrived, the parts were in the package (they apparently broke through the packaging). A phone call later, a second shipment was on its way and packaged so it could not break out of the package. I only ordered 2 small hooks, but was treated as a valued customer.
