If there was a zero rating, I would give it. Poor corporate response, Massillon store even worse. Returned an item that was 179.76, they gave me an in store credit for 142.18. Emailed corporate who basically dumped it back on the store manager who was useless. NEVER shopping there again!!!
I purchased the AKDY all in one stainless steel black sink and absolutely LOVE it. It's very good quality and the black stainless steel is beautiful.
I use to automatically look for products at Menards and now I automatically stay away. My main complaint is the rebates. You never never get them. I’ve had three or four maybe five times where I submit it for rebates never heard from them again. I expect a short note telling about how sorry they are, but the total of the reviews should tell you otherwise they’re not sorry what a poor service company
The one thing I find done really well at Menards is full refunds. A matter of fact, I had a broken part on a fan that I bought it was broke when I opened the box. They had two more broken ones there. the part I needed was good, but they wouldn’t exchange that part, they would rather send three fans back instead of 2. I had six keys made in their kiosk same day . None of them worked. They’re quick to get full refunds. But for the life of them, they can’t provide good service or product. I bought a chain saw and warranty for 211.00 it started one time then I took it back they said I had to take it to a service center to have it checked I guess they don't cover warranties.I would suggest if you don't want to get screwed to go to Lowes or Home Depot I wouldn't even give Menards a 1 star.
I ordered a product from this online store and they ship a wrong color, it shows clearly on the product description that the color is white, there is also on the orders page another field that shows color is white, but there is only one location that shows color may vary, which means in 3 different locations on the website and on my order's it is showing misleading information, again it shows WHITE color in 2 out the 3 fields. It is clearly a misleading advertisement.I am trying to contact customer services, there is no phone number, only e-mails. Return policy is awful. I bought an Ariens lawnmower. It worked fine the 1st time. By the 3rd time I used it, the self-propelled front left wheel barely worked anymore and it took me 3 pulls to start rather than the 1 it took the first time. I noticed a rapid decline in overall performance after 3 weeks. I didn’t want the piece of garbage anymore so after 3 weeks and 3 uses, I decided to return it. Menards says that if you put gas in gas powered items, you can’t return them to the store. Seriously? So how do you know if it works if you don’t put gas in it? And how do you know if it’s going to keep performing like it should if you don’t use it a time or 2. So now I have to go through the process of taking it to an authorized dealer, either getting it fixed or filling out a bunch of paperwork and whatever else it takes to return the piece of garbage of a lawn mower. I asked the manager what am I supposed to do about my lawn while I go through this process of possibly getting it fixed and she said I could always buy another lawnmower. Seriously? And not be able to return that one either? That’s the kind of people that Menards hires as managers? I almost have to laugh at this whole situation cause it’s so ridiculous. I won’t shop at Menards anymore unless they change their return policy and suggest no else does either unless you’re a big gambler. Another customer and his family lost. Nice job Menards!
Menards is the worst retailer I have ever seen. The merchandise they carry is low quality, it's impossible to find any particular item in their store (you can look online as to in what aisle and section the item you need is supposed to be, but there's only a 50/50 chance it will be there; aisles are not numbered consecutively, with subsets of numbers assigned to entirely different parts of the store), and their employees typically know little about the products. Sure, Menards tend to be cheaper than Home Depot and Lowes, but you get what you pay for and the hassle of having to deal with their stores is not worth it. Horrible.
My wife bought a push lawn mower for my birthday. I put it together had to go buy oil for it. I starts and runs for about 10ft the dies, starts right back up runs for 30-40 seconds then dies. After that it wont start again till it sits for a while. Then the whole enjoyable process can begins again. I called the Menards it was bought at and was told to bring it back without gas and oil and they would "take care of me". I packed it back in it's box and took it to "customer service" . I was told to wait while they got me another one, after a while I was told that since the engine had gas and oil put into it, that Menards would not take it back or exchange it and I would have to deal with the manufacturer from now on and find an "authorized service center. Now I have a several hundred dollar brand new paper weight. If you buy anything with a gas engine and expect to actually start and run that engine, Menards will not back up the product they encourage you to purchase. So far I have wasted more money than I have saved.
I was in hurry to order door 3.0 i had picture of door i wanted salesman kept asking other person what to do that should have dead warning he did not know what he was doing i was gone to Maui HI when door came in had some one pick pick it up he put in garage installer came to put door in he ask me what i wanted to do with door that it did not match any door in house it was very ugly i returned it they said was my fault i signed for it i have bought thousand of dollars worth of product's from them charged me 217.38 restock fee they have lost a very good costumer! I bought bottle of Gatorade from a gas station while getting gas for my car. After getting gas I went to Menards in Wyoming, Michigan. I walked into Menards with my bottle of Gatorade for one minute and realized that I had to return a merchandise left in my car . So I walked back out to retrieve that merchandise to return to their customer service department. The lady told me: I saw you walked in and walked out within one minute and did you pay for it? I told her : I don't steal and I bought this Gatorade from a gas station. So I complained to its manager and the manager protected his employees and calling me trespassing his store. Is this right way to treat your loyal customers? I let you be the judge! I will never ever step foot into Menards again. Hey Mernards ! We as consumers have choices just letting you know. If you don’t treat your customers right others will.
I was a little apprehensive about purchasing anything from this company because of the reviews. However, I took the chance and bought something because it was less than half the price than other places. Honestly, I could not be happier. My products were received probably 5 days later. I am in NY and what I purchased was about $12 each everywhere on line and Meynards was selling the same item at $4 and change. Even though I had to pay shipping, after factoring it into the price, I still came out a winner. I actually save about $45. I was thrilled! I will definitely purchase on line with them again.
Worst experience ever. Purchased 15 bundles of #1 cedar shingles...rejected 5 bundles after sorting thru all of them.....them menards want a 25% fee for returning the bad shingles..At 95 dollars per bundle expected better quality and better response. Be careful what you purchase at Menards or any other big box store. They have products labled "made in america" but the Chinese have set up shop in the U.S. and lable their products like they are made by hard working Americans. In reality you are purchasing the same inferior junk from China, Menards is one of the major "bait and switch" stores around. Do your homework and see where these companies originate from before being suckered in by a 11% rebate.
Used to be that I could sign in to Menards online just like any of their competitors. Now I have to jump through the Captcha puzzle numerous times and still not gain entrance. What are you hiding or afraid of? I just want to BUY stuff. Isn't that why a website exists? Lowe's must be having a laugh.
Went to Menards in Onalaska Wisconsin. Got harassed by management because a worker scanned in our load on our way into yard.we were sent back in the store while the watch videos of another truck saying we already pick up our load. Took us 45 minutes to leave with $600+ load. Definitely have a manager problem. There is no way we could have went through gate and unloaded , got back though gate to reload in 15 minutes. Extremely pissed off by the time we left over a lot of wasted time.
The worst experience ever with their delivery. I had to pay $118.56 for delivery and when I asked the driver to bring everything from the alley on the back of my house (wider entrance), he said that he couldn't drive through because all the material was sideway on the truck so he left all the material on the street in front of my house and it took me an hour to bring everything inside. Plus most of the studs and post that came in are all damaged. I think that they don't care too much about quality for shipping orders.Once I mentioned the issue with the customer service (Agnes - Jocelyn / Bridgeview Store), the response was that the delivery is done through third party so doesn't concern them at all.AWFUL AWFUL Customer Service.I am done with Menards and I will recommend everyone else to purchase material from Home Depot. I purchased a Pulsar Mower at Menards in KC at the Legends location on 5/20/24. I mowed once three days later and it died halfway through the front yard. I followed startup instructions to a "T". ..new gas can, new gas new oil. Menard's refused to return, replace or refund at store because I had put gas and oil in the machine. How else are you supposed to run the mower and make sure it works? The store personnel claim they test every mower at the factory. Really!? They made me contact the manufacturer for repair or replacement. I had to get the store manager to contact Pulsar and basically twist their arm to return my phone calls and VM multiple times over three days. I had to take it to a shop for diagnostic. Pulsar paid for that. It was diagnosed as a slightly bent crankshaft. But they start every mower and mow grass at the factory she said. Now Im dealing with the person whose copped an attitude about telling me what to do next at Pulsar. If I'd bought it at Lowe's or Home Depot I would have had my mower the day it died or had my refund. Terrible experience at Menards.
I went online to see if Menards had any primrose flower plants. It stated that my local Menards had several primrose flower plants instock!? When I got there to Menards garden center they didn't have a single primrose flower plant!? I was so disappointed 😔☹️ in Menards for lying saying it was instock!? I will not ever shop at Menards ever again. I will take my business to Home Depot. Home Depot had several primrose flower plants for sale. I bought 2 lovely primroses.

I went in there as a single woman and asked for assistance and had to wait 20 minutes before anyone could come and help me and then I asked him to help me cut these metals for my carpet and they said no. Cannot believe the $#*!s at Capital One that administer the Menards Big Card they are Crooks on an $18.02 bill that was paid less than 24 hours late incurred a $17 late fee that is horse$#*!. “Appliance warranty”
Bought a washer at Menards with a 5 year protection plan. Allstate apparently pawned this warranty off to some no name company called Amynta afterwards. They sent a tech out a few times and never fixed it. Now they're saying it exceeded their limit and they're no longer liable. I'm upset with Allstate for not sticking to their agreement. I have to buy a new washer (and dryer so they match) even though I have a warranty. Menards really needs to look into what companies they go through.

Menards is usually my go to store, but I have been in line for 20 minutes to check out with two flower pots. If they don't improve staffing, and get more cashiers in the garden somewhere, the busiest place all summer, it is not worth my time to shop here anymore. This has to be the worse place to shop for customer service and their ridiculous rebate policy. I was told by a manager at Menards if I was within a few weeks of the rebate period I would get a rebate on $1900 of tile! Nope refused it. I paid cash for the tile and had a previous rebate for $192.00. Well when I returned a few boxes they would not give me cash back but only a store credit! I had my receipt this is ridiculous! I was looking to buy a recliner, they had one in their Black Friday ad. I asked the guy if they would load it and tie it down and he said yes. So when I went to have it loaded the guy used a forklift to put it in my truck. First mistake was he left the pallet under it.then I asked him if it needed tied down and he said no its good. Had he said it did I would have but he said it was ok. So less then 2 miles on the highway it blows out and breaks on the side of the road. I called them and they said too bad but not their problem. Purchased cabinetry from Menards from Belleville Michigan but has been a complete disaster. Ordered 19 items and only 4 was not damaged or wrong. Re-ordered replacement parts nothing but a hassle. Cabinets were, broken, overspray (dif color) peeling of paint., easily whip off paint, cracked, wrong. One panel looked like they snapped it over their knee, besides it being out of square. Still on-going. Rude Cardell representative. Made our customer cry! I have the plague now, nobody wants to deal with this disaster. Who's going to pay me for all my time to resolve this fiasco? I ordered 4 32oz cans of gas mix.i ordered it online because my boyfriend could not go in at get it. Surgery so I thought I would save time.but it took me longer to get it. “Bad service”
Ordered composite woods decking materials. They dilevered half of it damaged. Called on May 27th and they ordered a backup for the damage decking. I was told it will take one to 2 weeks to get. Till now I didn't get anything and after calling the store in Homer Glen they send an email telling me that my back order on June 20th will be in in July 5th! They are lying because my back order was on May 27th. I bought about $20k of materials and that what I got, very bad service. I'm Products used:Decking materials. “Fake 11% Rebate”
While purchasing a new wash machine on11/26/2022 I made sure and even asked sales person about the usual 11% rebate on this item and was even instructed where to grab on the way out. Come to find out after waiting 3 months that the rebate offer had expired on 11/23/2022. This I find disgusting that sales staff was not up to date on merchandise and I was under the impression it was 11% as usual. Have done quite a bit of shopping there in the past but NOT ANYMORE! 25% fee deducted to return an area rug that did not match the pic /description posted online. False advertising! Update 8/16/2022: After weeks of emails with the Olathe General Manager, uploading documents and a formal review, I received a refund of the restocking fee. Thank you, OLTHGeneralManager! So my takeaway is to read all of the fine print concerning returns before placing an online order. I hope Menards re-evaluates their online ordering policies to be more in sync with Lowe's and Home Depot. Tip for consumers:Be 100% certain this is the item you with to purchase. I lost 25% ($70) on the item. I returned it because the description and the picture did not indicate the rug had metallic threads throughout. “Yard help at Mishawaka,IN”
I'm am 72 years old and asked a yard man if he could help me get two 8' cedar tone boards down from the upper level and cut them in half, he asked if I paid to have them cut I told him no and he just drove off. I have never had a problem at any other Menards they cut for free and are always willing to help.I will never shop at Mishawaka menards ever again! Service Value

I wish there was no star option because that's what they deserve. I wanted to write about their 11% rebate and their store staff. I always shop at Lockport, IL store near my town. Extremely rube customer service people. Absolutely avoid helping you. God forbid if you have a question, then you in for a treat. I did updating of my kitchen and this is the first time I bought my supplies from this God forsaken store. After buying everything I sent them their so called rebate department all the info they needed with my receipt and rebate from. IT HAS BEEN OVER TWO YEARS... I am still waiting for my checks. I recently sent them few more rebates and those are been few months already. What can I say I have bad habits to test my luck again. Upon asking in store I was very rudely told to contact rebates department via email because they have nothing to do with rebates. It's like those guys at customer service are giving me a favor by being there and earning their paycheck by my business. But no I can't ask for any help from them. Their attitudes are like why are you even talking to them. Extremely rube customer service and absolutely utterly ridiculous 11% rebates sale. Absolutely scam just to get customers in and get their business. But when it comes to rebates they will make you wait forever and hope that you will just forget about it.
