Is masterpiecebynumbers.com Legit?

I wish i had read these reviews before ordering from Masterpiecebynumbers. Made them aware that some of the paints supplied for Dragons Lair were in fact dry and could not be used. Had an e mail back telling me that extra paint was not available at present. I replied telling them that i did not want to order more paint and asking how they were going to rectify the problem of dry paint that had been supplied. Their response was that every kit supplied was quality inspected and it was unusual that all the paints were dry. At no point did i say that ALL paints were dry, but SOME of the paints were dry and could not be used. I was told that i had received the kits over one month ago and had possibly left the paints open. I said that they had shown their true colours and that i did not wish to receive any further e mails from them. I was instructed to unsubscribe and to Have A Nice Day. I have thrown the last three kits that i ordered unopened into the dustbin. Customer Care NIL

The choice of pictures and subjects. The quality and we like the 3 for 2 deals. The ease of ordering. The quick and reliable deliver. It's my wife who enjoys completing the pictures and she is always delighted with her results. She gets a lot of pleasure from painting your pictures, some are more challenging and she finds painting relaxing and de-stressing. She has completed quite a number now, and is in the middle of another 3 and I am sure there will be more to follow when these are finished.

Not understanding the hype, the paint and canavas quality are not good. I gesso the canava 5 times, but it still not smooth, color isn't blending in. Kinda disappointed

All paintings can be recommended because they are all great quality and value for money

I've had 9 paintings and 5 custom paintings from MBN and everyone is excellent and very enjoyable to make. I do suggest to anyone buying a painting from MBN to always get 2 sets of paint which in my humble opinion allows you to produce nice "thick" painted areas. I highly recommend MBN's products...enjoy.

My dad has done more than 30 of these paintings.Thr most recent one has a colour missing.The company have refused to send the missing colour.That’s how they treat customers.Will not be using againTerrible customer serviceAnd a duck family painting with no colour on the beak Absolutely ridiculous

Great company have had quite a,few painting by numbers and have not been disappointed by any of them. The paint has always been good upon receipt the only coverage problem is with white and that is the same for any white paint 🙄. Good delivery and always well packaged.

I have used many ‘painting by numbers’ companies and in my opinion Masterpiece by Numbers (MBN) is by far the best. I have painted nearly all their animal themed paintings and they have all turned out beautifully. Then I decided to give the customised choice a try . I have now completed 4 . Two of my own pets and two of pets of friends as gifts and I can honestly say the end result is practically identical to the original photo. The cost, a little bit too high and the wait for it to arrive, a little too long but fully understand why but considering the kit, which includes brushes, paints and good quality printed canvas, produces such good quality and fantastic results, it’s all worth it.I love painting these pictures and am desperately trying to find another friend who would like a portrait of their pet. I highly recommend MBN .

Amazing choice excellent service, love this company. Have now completed 4 canvases, and 2 custom canvas, the latest being my friends beloved dog who sadly passed away recently. Very therapeutic and lovely painting, highly recommend.

I found my bespoke Masterpiece By Numbers painting a brilliant experience. Yes, it was fiddly, and yes I needed a steady hand (and slightly stronger spectacles) - but that's all part of the challenge!I bought the kit as something that wasn't too taxing to engage me, and help with my mental health during recovery from surgery - and it did just that.I'm thrilled with how it turned out!

Masterpiece by numbers are great products, I am on my second painting now and I love it. Canvas and paints are high quality and these are so much better than some of the other ones I have tried from other places. Secondly I find this hobby very therapeutic and for someone who isn’t great at drawing or painting my own art I really enjoy the finished article when done , they look really professional and you wouldn’t even know they were paint by numbers.

Recently purchased three Custom painting by numbers kits from Masterpiece by Numbers.I have used this company on many occasions and always enjoyed their excellent canvasses and associated equipment.The three Custom kits are if my three grandsons and on completing the first one I am so pleased with the end result. It will be framed and hung in prise of place in our home The cotton canvasses are of the best quality, come rolled when in transit Because Custom canvasses are specially made from your own uploaded photograph they do take around 6 weeks to produce and a further 10 days to travel from the USA to the UK (fully trackable)..I can thoroughly recommend Masterpiece by Numbers as being one of the very best producers of these painting kits and I would struggle to find a better product from any other company.

Everything they promise they fulfil. Superb pictures, clear instructions and canvasses. I'm now on my 6th (or is it 7th?) and with nights starting at 3pm in Scotland, it is very relaxing to be creative and listen to music instead of watching tv. My only gripe is that, understandably, many of the works are US orientated.

AVOID - Misleading product delivery timesWhenever you see a company who has such poor reviews on TrustPilot and 5000 4-5 star reviews on their own website you know they are scammers.After 3 weeks I've still not received my items.They misleadingly avoid putting delivery estimates on their product pages or checkout page, and instead put "Royal mail 3.95 shipping" on checkout, which this most certainly is not.The fine print buried in a page linked from the footer states the items come from the USA. NAUGHTY NAUGHTY

It is said that we should all try something new. So i did. At 57 years old and, having been told at school, so long ago, not to bother pursuing art, and never having forgotten this, "Masterpiece painting by numbers" has opened up my world beyond all expectation. The whole presentation, delivery and confidence they have given me is so inspirational that it is in all honesty hard to express adequately into words. I cannot wait to get home and continue to develop my painting. The results are satisfyingly instantaneous, mistakes are few and if made easily overcome. Don't overthink it just do it is my advice. I wish i'd done this years ago.

The canvas, paints and brushes are very good quality .The cells on the picture are not too small, they are easy to paint and no magnifying glass is required.The details on the fox are very lifelike . There is a lot of dark green which can be boring to paint but can be done gradually painting other sections in the meantime.

I had a similar instance, custom painting, paid for an extra set of paints. 3 of the 24 were too dry to do anything; duplicate issue in the other set. No response on email, when called was faced with combative woman who hung up on me. I contacted PayPal and filed a complaint; they withdraw funds paid until there is a resolution. In less than 12 hours they are now sending replacement. You can also go through your credit card and file complains and a last resort would be state of Florida Consumer Protection agency.

Excellent service delivery brilliant considering they are coming from the USA. The paintings and paint is second to none, and the end results are amazing. I am almost 73 and a little bit dothery as my hands do shake a little, but I manage these fine. It helps me relax and keeps me occupied after my chores are all done. I cannot recommend this company enough, just brilliant.

I live in a residential home and I find Painting by numbers to be very absorbing , residens have comented how great the quality is. I have done 5 paintings so far and waiting on my next to arrive. Only down side is they take a while to arrive from USA but well worth the wait. I wouldnt consider any other supplier as I dont want the quality compromised customer contact has been first class and have been informed of new arrivals

Masterpiece by numbers is a wonderful company. Their genuine paintings are very high quality, well priced and offer lovely scenes. I have used Masteroiece by numbers on many occasions and will continue. To date I have painted over 60 paintings and enjoyed everyone giving such pleasure

“Not what they used to be”

I bought 6 custom painting kits and 5 have no eyes. The reference photos have eyes. But the canvases just show shadows where the eyes should be. They sent the wrong colors. Customer service is useless. They won't fix the problem.
