Is marigoldshadows.com Legit?

Can someone please explain how to return the jacket I bought? It doesn’t fit. It arrived this morning Saturday Sept 7.There are no return instructions Thank youVivian

So the item arrived on time and looks good. HOWEVER...it smells like mildew! I've watched enough clothing/scam documentaries (looking at you LuLa Rich) to suspect the clothing hasn't been properly stored. I washed the item in lavender detergent, dried it, and now have it airing outside. It's been days and it still smells.

Ordered the Aragon dress- delivery was slow (from China) and what arrived was not what was advertised- what i got was a short smock made of incredibly thin, ultra cheap lining fabric. Poorly sewn and much shorter than on the site as well. Utterly unbearable. This company are just terrible quality Chinese knock offs- do not buy!!!

BEWARE. Like other reviewers have mentioned, Marigold Shadows looks cool on Instagram, but the business is run beyond horribly, and the clothes come from China. My credit card was charged 6 weeks ago, and I still haven't received my order. In fact, I have no idea where it is. The latest "in transit" tracking information is from almost a month ago. Customer service tells me to keep waiting. Completely unhelpful and unbelievable.

I absolutely adore Marigold Shadows! Their clothing collection is so unique and avant-garde, the best part is that they are reasonably priced. I haven't had any issues with their return process and they are really transparent about their policies, so I'm not sure why some people have complained about it. Plus, their customer service is top-notch! It's rare to get a response from a real person.

FAKE LA BASED COMPANY their about page says "Our brand started out of Southern California" which is clearly untrue, it is a company from China that is pretending to have roots on the West Coast. So far it has taken 4 weeks and nothing has arrived, untrackable tracking #- site didn't have backorder dates when I ordered and I now feel without a doubt it will be cheap when it arrives but won't be worth the international shipping back. Buyer Beware.

My experience with this company was terrible. It took forever for my items to arrive. They don't answer emails. Poorly constructed clothing. Horrible fabric. No labels. I can't return things b/c they never provided an invoice or tracking # or packing slip. I tried selling to Pluto's Closet and they wouldn't even take them. Very very strange. Wish I had never tried them. Out a couple hundred dollars. Extremely frustrated.

Took a long time to receive the products and 1 of the 2 pieces did not look like the picture, the 2nd one had inexpensive fabric and did not look as nice as the advertised picture. I have written them 4x and they still have NOT provided me with a return label. It was a birthday gift for myself while I am laid off due to the WGA/sag strike and I just want to return it so I can use the money to get something I actually want. I hope they get back to me soon as it has been 3 days of trying to get a return label so I can use the money elsewhere and they are not helping!

I am a fan of the asymmetric and deliberately "off" look many of Marigold Shadows clothes feature.It can be hard to know exactly how a given piece will fit, given their unusual construction, but that is also what makes them interesting. And I am sure not having a physical store helps keep the costs down.Thanks for the cute looks!

Legit store, legit style! I love my Reina one sided sleeve and keep finding new outfits to match it with. Top marks to their customer service department too, my parcel had issues at my countries airport so they sent me a new one super quick. Their communication was quick, friendly and effective. Will definitely purchase from them again.

Six weeks delivery time; clothing is from china, and you know what that means-- way, way smaller than sizes are listed as, and poor quality fabrics poorly constructed. Extremely cheap offshore products sold at an astronomical markup.

It will take you six weeks or more to receive your order.The problem with this site is that they curate a catalog of items that look "nu-goth" and "minimalist goth" from items purchased from cheap Chinese e-tailers in bulk and sell them at a gigantic markup. You are literally burning money if you buy from Marigold Shadows. Aliexpress, eBay and amazon all sell the exact same items for much cheaper, you just need to take the time to look.The items that you get for the $50-$200 you'll pay will be extremely low quality. You could shop at an actual department store with those prices.

I've ordered twice from Marigold Shadows and have had a good experience. They're clear about the shipping times, and the quality is stellar for the price point. I get tons of compliments on the unique pieces from MG. My only reservation in recommending them is for those needing larger sizes, as don't have much that would fit a plus size person.

I waited almost 6 weeks, for my purchase. I ordered 6 items as I got tricked by the pictures on their site and their well-curated instagram account. But I had no idea the clothes were going to come from China in very poor conditions and horrible materials. I overall lost $40 to return the package back and I am still waiting for a refund.

Crap. Doesn’t even have a label. They are still saying they sent a return label that they didn’t. They are trying to steal from their customers. DONT ORDER from them!Update: they finally sent the return label after responding to the review. So it only took three emails, 30 minutes on the phone with the credit card company and then this review for them to finally agree to take their crap back. When I google the address that they sent me to return the items to it’s another business… Best Water Damage Repair Experts Las Vegas. Just as a side note it is against federal law to sell clothing in the US without a label and this company does it anyway. Save yourself some time and don’t order from them.

Just received my fourth Marigold shipment of clothing and I am just so delighted! Again! The first time you I ordered from them many years ago, their sizing was too small for westerners. But they have learned and every time I wear one of their designs, not only do my friend compliment me, but strangers in fashion mavens on Seventh avenue in Manhattan, stop me and ask, “ where did you get that?” And I am 72=years old!

I've always been scared purchasing products online because of several bad experiences but their styles are awesome and I couldn't find anywhere else in physical stores so I gave it a try.I'm so happy that I did! Some of the products ran small but their customer support is top-notch, very helpful so I was able to return some for a refund. Overall, a very good experience and I'll definitely purchase again.

I had been lusting after many of the Fashions on this website for a long time, but kept reading mixed reviews and so was very skeptical. I decided to take a chance with a 15% off item, something that did not require an exact fit. It arrived very quickly, was pretty much as advertised, a little oddly tight in the sleeves, but otherwise no problem. The package had zero paperwork, no receipt no returns, nothing. I could see why it would be problematic to return an outfit. I don't think I would risk buying anything that had more exact fit requirements on this website. I wouldn't want to have to deal with trying to return itwith no paperwork and also having to pay shipping both ways.

I ordered two items, a wrap vest and long button down dress, both were beautiful and good quality but unfortunately didn't fit me well as they were both one size and fit too big. The return process was incredibly easy and I appreciate the options they offer for returns. I hope to order something more fitting in the future!

Shipping is EXTREMELY fast, I'm confused why people on here are talking about "Six Weeks" delivery... I received my order less than a week after I ordered it and tracking was available almost instantaneously. It appears my order was shipping from California, NOT China.
