Is liveleak.com Legit?

I remember being on LiveLeak years ago, yes they ban your accounts. There was a lot of racism on there, and gore. But now it’s shutdown and replaced with “ItemFix”.

Great site. Stay within the rules, all opinions are welcomed (unlike facebook for example).

Liveleak needs to deal with its racist members before i sign up for another account

LL has interesting video nuggets from time to time that you would have a hard time finding elsewhere, however, video comments are overwhelmingly pro-Trump, racist, misogynistic, anti-semitic, homophobic and anti-muslim. If you stand up for liberal causes such as global warming, single payer healthcare or gun control, you need to have a very thick skin because you will quickly find yourself targeted by the numerous trolls that abound there.

A shell of what it used to be which was a source for 'documenting reality' - nowadays it is mainly a political platform for the idiotic Pro-Trump crowd as well as conspiracy theorists---these users permeate everything online these days like roaches so it's a sad evolution for a website that made its name as an alternative/graphic site. Much of what made it famous has now been deemed inappropriate content - about the only thing left are accidental traumatic incidents that remind one of the old site...Anything having to do with the atrocities of War is gone, which is too bad since those clips serve not only to titillate, but remind and teach us of what the world is capable of.

I'm sorry to say It used to be a great place I could turn to when Google completely killed youtube off from it's constant tinkering and layout changes ... 3 years straight of that and had enough, it was time to start looking for an alternative thinking LiveLeak was it.... read their TOS , was impressed by the point system and thought "Hey these people have vision!" I spent 4 years ( logging on & off) for the better part of a few months at a time, slowly worked my way up in points posting good videos with lots of views & eventually started interacting with the community LL has (yoursay Liveleakers), that's where I noticed what the problem was. I don't expect everything in life or on the net to be 'perfect' I'm pretty easy going when it comes to glitches and what have you...BUT, it was the lack of moderation, specifically allowing other non contributing members to troll the complete HELL out of other contributing members. Now, the regular trolling or bashful comments are not what I am talking about here ... these are regular offenders constantly 'flaming' and gang trolling others they don't like blatantly trying to drive them off the site on a daily, monthly basis...basically whenever situations like this occur, nothing is done about it for a painfully long, long time. I've seen infractions (counter point system for poor behavior) go up to as high as 12!! with 'some' account restriction penalty's but have zero effect. in fact, it just escalates things from what I can tell.So, all in all.. If you just want to watch cool and horrific videos its a good website to visit if you can put up with pretty bad glitches <--which is another thing ...comments constantly don;'t load properly, older videos don't play, customizing your profile doesn't work all that well, the list is kind of relatively short from a viewers perspective but there are workarounds for some at least. If you want to create an account and post videos and comments be aware the type of content they provide attracts the worst kind of people and are, for the most part, left to run amok turning the good parts about LL, like their very own community into complete shiite.

Enough already on the reviews about the racist comments on LL. Totally agree on it, but barely anyone is pointing out the other obvious which is videos being removed. The whole site has been gutted. LL use to be the go to website for people when they wanted to watch war videos,sniper videos,car accidents or other crazy things. These videos made LL unique which differentiated LL from YouTube thus brought more traffic to their site. Now LL has become just another boring YouTube competitor website people don't bother going to.

Hadn't been to LiveLeak in a while and decided to check it out tonight and noticed there are no more comments. Site seems to be leaning further Left. Don't want to waste time explaining bit just want to say I'm highly dissappointed. One of my fav sites used to be Disinfo.com until it got bought up by some giant Leftist multinational and litterally went full on commie. Of course we all know why Leftists don't want comments sections. Now we've even got Google threatening sites who leave them up.

I was banned for 30 days, after a decade of free speech, and then when my ban was lifted, lo and behold, I can no longer comment on Any video or post! This goes against everything this website was founded on, and shows a pathetic, uneducated, dangerous type of Censorship, which Liberals think is cool. They probably read Pravda, and get off on being Communists. Actually, they are just making themselves look like Cowards, living in a rainbow-bubble.

Liveleak, removed my profile for no reason, can't get it back, tried to reset password, not working, tried to contact no one answers! Crappy website, no wonder why people keep creating multiple profiles! Because of what happens! Is Liveleak run by anyone? Any living entity? The liveleak website has many issues that need to be dealt with. One huge problem I've found is most of it's members to be racists and anti-Semitic. Liveleak does have rules in place against such behavior but fails to address the problem citing what others consider hate-speech is freedom of speech in their minds. They're being hypocrites. I've sent complaints to them about receiving private hate mail from it's members and trolling me but my submissions they have been ignored. So for anyone who wishes to become a member of liveleak but don't mind the bigotry and right wing bias be my guest. Liveleak has officially gone to Hell ... the videos this site used to be known for are gone... you either get Political Conspiracy BS, or Kitten Vids... it was fun messing with people in the runup to Trump's demise but that's over now... The anti-Biden vids aren't as impactful because the guy keeps his mouth shut and doesn't inflame like (and isn't as stupid as) Trump.... I'll keep my user profile but am visiting the site less and less...there just isn't enough good content on it now to make me want to go there... it really sucks

Hello there, I was the notorious Doctor Right on this once amazing forum. Unfortunately it has become Liberal Leak and many far left have taken over the site. Like many you will be banned being slightly conservative or even a little centrist. There is no freedom of speech on the site anymore unless you preach radical Left. I was careful never to break the terms and conditions but was silenced and deleted on a copyright and infringement ban. Which I am sure many others have been thrown off the site through this method with no evidence of the copyright infringement. Anyway had a good run was there from 2012-2021 I don’t think I’m going to bother going back to the site as it has lost what it once was. You can still get good content anywhere else most the videos I watched were from YouTube anyway. LL admin are a bunch of over emotional cry babies and probably Super Cucks

I seem to be having trouble accessing videos and pretty much any part of the site other than the home page... it says that my "user group can not access this channel" any time I try do do something. I suppose I triggered some little limp dicked snowflake with some honesty... people don't seem to like that nowadays and need to grow a thicker skin. Nibbles, the hamster, has retired his account but he will be avenged by his old army buddy who shall remain nameless. If you know Nibbles, you'll recognize who has taken his place when you see his posts. Nibbles is annoyed.

I have been a loyal user of Liveleak for many years but just recently it appears my account was disabled with no warning or reason provided. I have sent several emails to support to ask why and they never respond.

“Site with useful information”

The information provided is not always good, but sometimes it can be good, sometimes even the comments are very helpful. The content on this site can also be very bad and distracting. So I wont spend too much time there, from time to time I take a look at the recent videos and that's it. I never use the startpage because who cares for the featured videos. Some years ago I would have rated the site with 4 stars when still uncensored videos were allowed.

“Fringe infested, defended by racist mods”

I'm liberal, outspoken, and now banned from Liveleak after 7 years. The reason they gave? "User has deleted their account", which is total B. S. THEY deleted my account for being too outspoken. I've always been careful to not use foul language, call people names, or be vulgar or cruel to people. Yet, I strongly condemned the known racist on the site to the point that one told me he personally contacted the owner of the site, Hayden to have me banned. Two days later I was... avoid this fringe infested soapbox for racist Trumptards.

This is another one of those sites that used to be worth visiting, but now it sucks. Don't waste your time. The PC police have taken over and LiveLeak is dead. This site is exactly how it's named. Out of the 18 videos on the front page, 17 were violent. Bad for the soul, but necessary and important website that enables leaks. His declarations can be checked on any search engine, just search the key words of the idea.

This site has deteriorated over the years by any measure, but it is still pretty good. They are still a relatively open place where opinions that are suppressed by by the Googles and Twitter's of the world are still allowed here. You can be a racist and promote racist ideas. This looks pretty sinister so I didn't click on that one. Liveleak clearly has a malware issue. I am using Hood Site now, no annoying pop-ups and for now, no censuring.

LiveLeak's Customer Service is CRAP. You can Log In, but sometimes you have to Log In Again to post on their forums. But when you Log In there, they prompt you to type in a six digit code--THAT DOESN'T EXIST! So when you fill out a "trouble ticket," they say that they will respond "as soon as possible"--which is apparently IMPOSSIBLE for them, because they Never Respond. Yet Sometimes--believe it or not--when you navigate to where you can Reset your Password, they make it Impossible, because some of the areas you have to fill out are unattainable without refreshing your screen--which erases everything you have already typed in! So--if you are planning to request any Customer Support or Tech Support, or if you attempt to contact them for any reason, be prepared to get a response that says they will respond, even though they will not. The site is cool, but that is because The Members are (usually) cool. As a web site, it Sucks.
