I watched the foundation Balance-N-Bright on QVC and was impressed. But, when I received the product it didn't cover light spots nor did the color work. The color was so off, and the more I put on the worse it got. I'm a retired make-up artist. The product makes your face look dry and dull. I was so angry when I saw the latest commercial where the actress, yes, actress puts on liquid make-up then the next shot shows her face completely smooth and flawless. I Sent the the product back to QVC. This product is just a cheap face powder and shouldn't be promoted as a light foundation or foundation at all.
Got the basic set. Foundation very light coverage, tried to build it to a more made up look; but couldn't. Bronzer way too dark for my skin, brush was abrasive & irritating to my face ( recommend separate brush for bronzer) I liked the highlighter; but all it really is, is an iridescent eye shadow. OK if you want a very light no makeup look.
I was getting interested in the product, but when I saw the latest commercial showing how a woman puts on the old school or other types of makeup, it was so fake that it makes me believe what else is fake about the product. I cannot give a more honest review and will not continue using your product.

I’m so into trying new products and have tried thousands. I’ve bought foundations online and I’m almost always spot on with colour matching. This has not been my experience with Laura Geller Baked Balance-n-Brighten foundation. I have olive skin and ordered the medium. Way too dark. I watched a LG video where it was demonstrated that the medium and light can be used for the same person, which I thought was weird. One person equals one base shade, I would think. So I had faith and ordered the Light. Still way too dark! I gave it one last go and ordered the fair…. I’ve never been fair in any brands scale…. Still way too dark!! All three shades are practically the same. Not happy. I had to pay a crazy amount for international shipping each time too! The makeup itself doesn’t last. It’s ok on fine lines though compared to other baked powders. And it’s too sparkly in my opinion. I love a glow but it’s too much. Looks like highlighter all over the face. I bought two blushes too. One of them barely transfers onto the brush. You have to rub it a lot like with cheap make up. Overall, I don’t recommend it for the price. Plenty of other options on the market. The website was glitchy. (I’m a web designer) and the email correspondence was really poor. Had to send a few emails to even get a personal acknowledgment.
If you scroll down, you will see I gave a bad review about Laura Geller. The amount of £105.95 went out of my account almost immediately. My items did eventually arrive, after a lot of being given the run around. Not impressed. I bought the ‘Baked Full Face Basics’ the Kabuki Brush, the ‘bliss’ set and ‘Baked Balance N Brighten’ foundation. The whole set is just dried powder. The brush is lovely, but too soft and the powder certainly does not go on the face and give you the benefits of a cream. It is just a dry powder and looks and feels like it, specially if your skin is dry to start with. I found it did not blend in very well at all. I tried today 29/06/24 to return the bliss depuffing eye gel, as the applicator does not work. I just want a replacement. This was impossible to do online, as a message came up saying ‘order already returned’. I have not returned the order, but if I had, where is my refund? It seems once you receive your order and if something is wrong you are stuck with it. I will not use Laura Geller again and would urge anyone thinking about it to forget it.
I placed and paid for an order on 27/05/204. I didn't receive any confirmation of the order directly from LG. I have accessed my order details via the SHOP app and saw that the order was showing as with DHL eCommerce and gave a tracking number. When I checked with DHL they said this was not the case and to go back to the seller..I have sent several emails to LG and like other people here, I received pretty useless return messages stating NULL and with no actual human response to my enquiries. I have sent yet another email today. I can see that this will probably end up with me making a claim to my credit card bank. If I knew how to report this company as criminal operatives I would! They are taking people's money and not fulfilling their obligation to provide the goods. Surely this is unlawful? I would definitely not recommend this company.
I ordered the best of the best baked full face basics, make up and brush at beginning of week...arrived today.Went to a garden party with my "new" face on. Its brilliant lots of comoliments, easy to apply and feels so light. Delighted. My new go to Thanks from a very happy 67 yr old !!!
Following numerous bad reviews on here - mainly about delivery issues rather than the product, I decided to order the product from Amazon to avoid those headaches. The product (Baked Balance and Glow) is fabulous. I always used Benefit face powder previously, but they stopped producing it and it has taken many months & attempts to find something as good - but this is it! It is a heavy facepowder that goes on as a foundation & facepowder in one. I went up one shade from what their website recommended and this was the right thing to do for me. I have subsequently ordered direct from Laura Geller as Amazon was out of stock and it arrived quickly and without any issues. Will def being using this going forward! Love it. I am based in the UK.
Order arrived demolished in box and unusable. No phone number to call. I emailed and received a canned response with no resolution. Online return link is sending me in circles! I'm at my wits end and my last defense is to file a dispute with my credit card company for the charges. I will NOT order from them again and their customer service sucks!!!!

I have a couple of friends who raved about this product, so I had high hopes. I'm really disappointed, it's no better than powder in its coverage. It makes my skin look dry and dull.
I received many emails offering me a free product with my order. Order arrives, no free product. I wrote to customer service, received a form letter that never addressed my concern. If you need your makeup in less than a month, do NOT order this product! I placed my order on the May 26, and it has yet to ship (June 6). The website says 2-3 days, automated response says 3-5 days, and chat says they are busy due to a sale with no guarantee when it will ship.I cannot rate the make-up as I have not received it.
I am a 1st time user of Laura Geller, I say that lightly as I still have not received my order from 8 days ago. The tracking is stating Hermes - now Evri but when followed through its DHL Global? I also have another email stating they couldn't deliver?All i get from LG is that it's.on.route witha tracking number that does not work. Am utterly fed up and WILL NEVER USE AGAIN.Definitely do not recommend!

I cannot review the product since the container was completely broken on delivery. When I wanted to take this up with Laura Gellar - their review site will only allow you to review the product. They arrange the shipping so that is ALSO their responsibility. Sorry I didn't get to try the product but not wasting more money if they won't take responsibility for delivery.

I am not, at all, impressed with their customer service. They keep sending me items I did not purchase and charge me. I have used their links to indicate this problem and I get no response. Don't order from them, they have an agenda of their own and it will not be under your terms.

“Amazing coverage”
I have tried many pressed powder compacts, looking for better coverage. I ordered the brighten and color correcting compact and the first time I used it, I was blown away with how flawless my face looked. It is not heavy, does not settle into the fine lines, but give a lovely glow. I have paid much more for compacts in the upscale stores and never gotten coverage this great and perfect. Even my husband commented on how smooth and nice my face looked and he did not even know I was using something new. I will never buy any other brand but this one. The website makes it easy to choose your perfect shade and the price was really good too. I have no idea why there are all these negatives about it because it is the best product of this type that I have ever used.

My first order was shipped in the 3-5 day promise, but it took another week for it to arrive. The foundation was much too dark. I ordered medium which is the color i have used in multiple other foundations. This one was very orange. So i submitted for an exchange, which again was promised to be shipped in the 3-5 day window. It's now day 7 and I still have no email confirmation it has shipped. I was hoping I would have the new color prior to leaving on a very long vacation next week. That is not going to happen based on my previous item taking a week to get to me after it was shipped. I will not order from them again.

3-5 business days is what the agreement from the company is... not fulfilled. Do not care how good the product is I will not be ordering from them again! I bought quite a few items: foundation does nothing for my skin; blush barely shows; mascara is clumpy, eyeliner is too thick so the corners of your eyes are a mess; palate of eyeshadow, just like the blush and foundation, is weak; liquid eyeshadow- weak color; lipstick- weak color; the application brushes that were complimentary with the palate, one came with no container; the other, good luck getting the cover to fit on the brush without squishy the brush. If this is how they roll, you have to question these ingredients thats going into your body. Based in the complaints about customer service, I won't waste more time asking for refund. Customer service keeps giving me gift cards for my trouble! I was charged 1 1/2 months ago! Still no makeup has been shipped! Their site says "unfulfilled" under my order. I actually like the products. The ordering process is the absolute worst. Dishonest company. I ordered a large order on 40% sale, with expedited shipping. Never arrived. Contacted customer service. They send "form"responses, telling you there is nothing they can do to assist you, but feel free to reach out by chat. I just got on to Laura Geller a few months ago. In my early 60's, I have never looked better. The ease of application - much better than liquid foundations that are greasy and bad for my skin. Actually, my skin without make up is looking better. No more clogged pores. Love the variety. Note: going direct does take longer but you save more money because of the discounts. If you want fast, go to Amazon and spend more. I haven't had any bad orders. My new go to! Tip for consumers:Give it a try and avoid the nay sayers.
