lacoste.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives lacoste.com a fairly high trust score on the platform: 81.6. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Fair. Valid. Known.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 81.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to lacoste.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Fair. Valid. Known. tags above. Long story short, we deemed this a known website, with a low scam probability. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning lacoste.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between lacoste.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of lacoste.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of lacoste.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. lacoste.com is an innocuous suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether lacoste.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether lacoste.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, lacoste.com.

Unbelievable, I did order a pair of shoes and the size was a big short and needed a bigger one. I called Customer service and they mentioned I need to return the item and collect my money back with no option to change them instead.Sadly I bought them on sale and the price increased since the first purchase so I was I'm not willing to pay 50% more due to this size issue. Customer Service hung up on me saying there is nothing they can do, not even a discount code to match or even approach the price I paid, not a bit of empathy with the customer or willingness to sort the issue.
I recently bought a number of items from Lacoste, I had to return two items as they were too small. I packed the box with both the items and returned the box. I only received a refund for one item, customer services said that I had only returned one item. I have been in touch several times, only to be told there was nothing that they can do, as the warehouse said there was only one item returned. The customer services department of Lacoste are appalling, I do like the Lacoste brand, however, I'll not be purchasing anything else.
I ordered sweatpants on a Saturday evening, they arrived Thursday morning. The quality is as you'd expect from Lacoste, I own a few of their items of clothing which have lasted me years. I think the quality of their footwear has declined over the years but the clothing is well made. Their website is a little buggy and I wasn't initially sent an order confirmation email. So I phoned their customer service line and they were very helpful, thank you to Tierney for forwarding this to me. No problem with DPD.
Bought a lacoste tracksuit on discount 50% and it was the wrong size, i then asked for another size and they didnt want to let me change it because the discount period was over. Even though both sizes were on discount. Instead i got an email saying sorry with a discount code of 20 dollars to shut my mouth when i told i was gonna leave a bad review (LOL)i cant stand companies like this who does not care about its costumers
So, lacoste. maybe want to explain this one then? i order a pair of your premium swimming shorts for my holiday to corfu. 2 weeks later as i am getting ready to my approaching holiday abroad and i remember something, where are these bloomin’ shorts? i call customer service too see whats going on. They say that i have not placed an order with them so i provide them with the email receipt. They advise me to send an email as this is their policy. I send this email and 3 weeks later they decide to reply. They say they are sorry for the inconvenience amd they say they will send it free of charge. I decline this offer and buy a paur from paul and shark that return in 3 days. Lacoste, sort it out.
My experience with Lacoste was terrible. The box was damaged and left at my door like trash, with only slippers inside.Lacoste claims that I signed for it, but that's not true. Their customer service acts like a bitten crocodile—anything but helpful. To make matters worse, Lacoste itself suggests that I am committing fraud because their transport service is not up to standard. This is truly the world turned upside down. The clothes were meant for me to wear at a rehabilitation center. I ended up buying Nike clothes, and everything went smoothly. My advice? Dump the crocodile.
Delivery is too slow but you can't fault their product quality. Very happy with my new trainers!
Have been very disappointed so far with UK customer service response to replacing faulty goods. A lot of hiding behind red tape! Here's hoping the email to their CEO and message to UK CEO have the response required from an iconic brand. At the moment, feels like I've paid for a Rolls Royce and got a second-hand .......UPDATE!Pleased to report that Felix, Customer Service Supervisor, came good and pulled it out of the bag. Very pleased with result. Well done Lacoste.
The level of customer service is just disgusting. Every time you call the automated system tells you your wait time is 1 minute, lets you hold for 8 minutes and then automatically cuts you off. They use the very poor delivery company DPD and then take zero responsibility when the courier fails to deliver your order. When you do manage to reach a Lacoste employee they’re clearly completely disinterested in your issue.
Lacoste should be ashamed of their laughable and awful customer service. It is so poor that this alone may prevent them from ever becoming a real competitor in the higher end ( or lower end ) clothing market. Their cs representatives could not care less about really helping their “customers.” Compared to the fabulous customer service that a person receives at Ralph Lauren , Lacoste is far behind and low class.
Excellent products, and really good customer service.I have bought Lacoste clothing for many years now, mainly in-store, as I like the quality of their products that are well made and last well.Recently ordered an item online that never arrived. Really fast and polite customer service team response time, replacement product arrived really quickly, and given a loyalty voucher for any inconvenience.
This is a special mention to LACOSTE store in KNIGHTBRIDGE LONDON and customer service assistant named MS FATIMA..who was extremely professional, polite and excellent at her job.She was patient with my queries and my fussiness. She is an asset to the company and as I work in the underground, I would recommend this store to all my colleagues. Thankyou Fatima for the wonderful shopping experience.
Unilaterally cancelled an order because they ran out of what they had on the internet, I’m guessing as they had no decency to explain. No offer of anything else or an ‘sorry here is a credit for the future’. This is an international company who produce many items regularly. I remain flabbergasted. Either they cannot do stock control or they are too arrogant to treat customers fairly. Either option not good.
A company of two half’s in store service is fantastic on line is horrendous my advice is shop in store
Updated review (initially 1 star):I made an order on Tuesday and received a shipment email the following Monday. The order came on Wednesday very well packaged and presented. I did email their customer services to enquire about the shipment 2 days after I made the order but they never responded. I'm now thinking of returning an item since the sizes are very unforgiving but I'm not sure I will in case there is an issue as it seems that customer services do not respond.
I spoke to Tierney on the customer service team! She was so so helpful and helped me find my order, so refreshing to come across such a helpful employee with such good communication skills. Thank you Tierney!
I brought a jumper from lacoste. Easy navigation and payment process. Good notifications. Prompt delivery. Nice jumper but too big. Return procedure was very easy and free. Brilliant service throughout
I was a little worried after reading all the negative reviews about Lacoste, but I took the risk and placed an order. The delivery arrived promptly within 5 days of ordering and DPD left it in my chosen location with no issues. I had a couple of items to return, so I put in a request online and then waited to receive my returns label. This part was a little confusing as I then received about 10 different emails from DHL non of which included any labels! I phoned the customer service team, who answered the call within a few minutes and they were really helpful and explained they'd had an issue with the return labels so she would send me one via email. This came through within 30mins and I was then able to send my parcel back at a local DHL drop off.I was able to track the parcel all the way back to France and then Lacoste emailed to say they had received the items and a refund would be issued within 5 days. The money was back in my account 2 says later. So yes a bit of a faff with the returns process but overall a positive experience!
Worth each penny ! I use Lacoste shoes for over 8 years and never had a problem . They remain same like in the first day of wearing , amazing. Premium quality for sure 100% for life . Congratulations
Lacoste is my favorite brand, I love their stuff. But it is unacceptable how poorly their online store is run. On multiple occasions I have seen products on their site listed as in stock, I go to purchase the item, and I am then told the item is out of stock after I am already charged for it. It's inexcusable how poorly the online site and customer service are run.

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
