labjack.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives labjack.com a medium-risk trust score on the platform: 67.7. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Known. Vetted. Low Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 67.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to labjack.com's industry. The algorithm detected a slightly lower risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, noted in the Known. Vetted. Low Risk. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying vigilant and using common sense when engaging with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning labjack.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between labjack.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of labjack.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of labjack.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. labjack.com is likely a safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether labjack.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether labjack.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, labjack.com.

I love their products and support! I've been using Labjacks for over 20 years now and never been let down!
LabJack makes useful products and stands by them. I've used T4s, T7s, and T8s for data acquisition projects. The company's technical help is super knowledgeable, and the company has actually been willing to make firmware updates that have expanded the capabilities of their T8s to meet our needs. They make it easy to select products for your needs, and then provide excellent resources to help you program your hardware. Highly recommend.
I use U6-pros with Python for DAQ. Multiple (20) projects over the last decade -they work great. Response from company, I think I've asked 2 questions, (I like email) is quick, concise and correct. For those complaining about the documentation, I say spend 1 hour "actually" reading the manual and you'll have no problems, EVERYTHING is documented. Good products, high accuracy. I'm still buying them. Tick-products are a bit expensive.
My T7 lab jack is pretty much my go to device for all things experimental. It’s easy to reconfigure and get useful data coming in and controls going out.For more production work, we even have a few smaller jacks under our lab floors. Most people have forgotten they even exist, yet they don’t realize they depend on them every day.I do wish the T7’s wireless security was more up to date for proper full 64 character WPA2 PSK pass phrases or (preferably) WPA Enterprise authentication. That’s my only real gripe.
Support helped me understand how feedbackArguments were sent to getFeedback() in python. Had struggled for some time, thinking I had to create new feedbackArguments every call, since I wanted to change state of u3.BitStateWrite(14, LCLsetting['SWactivLEDst']) output each time. Once I realized the setup did not need to be change, just change the ...LEDst, it saved cycle time in my call. Thanks!
First time Labjack user. The first datalogging project involved using the SD card to log temperature/voltage data. At first documentation was a bit confusing regarding how to access the SD card. Customer support was able to get me the SD card utility to read out the logged data which was helpful. The lua scripting language was easy to get voltage/temperature logging implemented.Noticed that there is an intermittent "hardware" failure indicated when the unit is connected to Kipling. The docs indicated that there is an ADC test performed when the unit is powered up. It seems half the time this error is reported so not sure if this is a real problem or not. Will need to log some real data to see how the unit performs.
Labjack U3 user. Nice product, mature, available for a long time, performs as promised. Definitely a good choice for PC-based data acquisition. 4 stars instead of 5 because the documentation could be better structured / more polished. Examples: * Datasheet: no simple overview of the no of channels / channel types, a lot of scrolling through sections 2.6.x, 2.7.x and appendix just to have an overview of the no of channels + associated specs.* Chapter 4: function calls are listed, but take e.g. 4.2.3 ePut -> accepts parameters -> takes some browsing to find out this can be used for e.g. quickSettling -> more browsing to find explanation in 2.6 for quickSettlingIn the end all information _is_ available. But some short tutorial, or more documented example code right near the description might help.
The LJtick-R device doesn't give stable enough data for my application (measuring R around 25 ohms). I received a call from tech support that confirmed the device will not work well to measure such lo resistance. So I built my own interface for the measurement, which is working better.
Hey! I've used with LabJack products for a while now and they're working as intended. Their forum support is also great, they're answering to all your questions in little to no time and they're also very helpful.I'll definitely recommend them to anyone in need of equipment for projects about measuring something from a device with analog or digital outputs.
The LabJack is flexible, powerful and pretty bulletproof. What I like most is that it hits a sweet spot in terms of capability, flexibility and price. I use it in a research setting for control and automation of experiments involving thermal chambers, fluid loops and heat transfer measurements. I've used it in both mechanical lab and wet-lab settings. The T7 is basically my testing swiss army knife. In all my setups, the T7 was never the failure point or bottlekneck.
Evan was quick to assist with placing my PO & knew what I needed. He also offered options for bulk pricing that was a better value & time saver for our receiver. Very reliable service & shipped quickly. We have been using their products since 2016.
LabJack has excellent customer support & service. The people are always knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Their products are reliable, and of the thousands of devices ordered, the few devices I have had to get support with they have been quick to solve the issue or replace the device if necessary.
The good: hardware is solid. T7-pro resolution is appreciated. Kipling and LJM are better than expected. Running quadrature encoders is appreciated. Smooth handshake with Visual Studio. The could-be-better: Actual instrumentation amps would be good for strain gages. Still haven't found a list of all the extended function indexes and what they do. Still a little confused how to set up Clock0 to run at a slower frequency.
So far, I've encountered LJ DAQs used in university student engineering teams, university laboratories, and in industry. In all these settings, I have only ever heard glowing reviews about the DAQs.After personally using a T7 for a while, I can honestly say it lives up to the praise. The hardware, software, and libraries are extremely versatile, which makes development and prototyping a breeze. One thing that I hear over and over again is how amazing the LJ support is. I never had any issues with the product itself, but the support team still went above and beyond by providing advice and suggestions to help us get the most out of the DAQ.
Very useful device. I purchased this when I was doing a lot of embedded systems design and troubleshooting. It was useful for scripting long-running tests withouth having to muck with hardware too much. The Python API is straightforward. One thing I might recommend is going for the device with a higher voltage tolerance; I regretted getting the lower-voltage version, because it's so common to need something a bit higher.
I was new to LabJack products and not familiar with much of the terminology used. After only a few emails, I had all the information I needed to connect 12 thermocouples up to a T7 using a Mux80 and two CB37 cards. The information available on the web site is very, very helpful, especially the guides. Hardware and software both are great.Email response to my questions were always same day, usually within a few hours. I chatted online once and the person who helped me knew the answers and was very courteous.Overall, I am very satisfied with LabJack.
We have been a customer of Labjack for number of years now. Our startup company owns 3 T7 pros in addition to numerous add ons (LJTicks), Mux80 etc.In my opinion LabJack’s customer support is top notch. As with the latest purchase once again LabJack was prompt and as usual the service was very professional.
Excellent data loggersThey are really easy to use, and lots of software options are provided to get started quickly, or do more advanced automation. I love that they even sell OEM versions to integrate into your own test beds.
I used both LabJack T7 & U6 with each of -7 PCS of CB37, - 2 * MUX80-2 EI1034 Temperature Probe -2 EI1050 Digital Temperature / Humidity probe - 4 DB37 cableto measuring 145 position temperature 80 probe for K Type thermocouple 65 semiconductor type LM35dz in my Ph.D. project I found it so useful except1- the software cannot support to read more than 14 probe in easily way 2- using external probe as a reference junction for more accurate to measuring temperature by employing other probes because the heat source from the body of each U6 or T7 make a small deviation when depending to the internal reference probe and I hope to avoid this problem I am happy to use LabJack product With my respectDr.Ali D. Salman University Of Technology Iraq
I like specs, size, and price. My applications are not allowed to operate U3-HV with suggested third-party software. I do not have the skills to write my program. In my view, many customers will be heapy to operate LabJck products with the most common software, LabView or DasyLab.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
