kinguin.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives kinguin.com a medium-high trust score on the platform: 75.2. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 75.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to kinguin.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning kinguin.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between kinguin.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of kinguin.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of kinguin.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. kinguin.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether kinguin.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether kinguin.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, kinguin.com.

My only gripe is that aditional costs like Vat appear after procieding to purchace. Makes the item appear cheaper than it actually is. It's comon on online shopping, but some other Keysites don't do it.
I often buy my steam keys (sometimes switch games keys) on this website and to be honest, I’ve never had any issues. The keys are always ready to claim and always worked. Prices are almost always better then steam. To put it simple. Good prices, Instant delivery and never had issues. 👍
I bought an account for ONLY 10 BUCKS for a game that costs way more and for some other ones ofc, never got scammed, just don't be surprised if any of them have a limit, but still, its worth it.
I've made a few purchases from Kinguin now and they've all been great experiences. Product keys are available immediately after purchase, never had an issue with any of the softwares I've bought.
Bought a $70 csgo roll gift card and got 2 knifes equaling $590 going to get some cool skins either my prize and thanks to kinguin!
I bought a skinclub card, gambled it and got profit, need i say more? Great system by the way, I thought it would be hard to use, but it's as simple as that. Although, with all the respect, I think that the website looks a bit outdated, other than that, it works great.
Kinguin.net is a fantastic site that does as promised. I have purchased multiple items and never had a problem. Instant delivery and great customer service.
I've used Kinguin on numerous times, & other than one issue, which was fixed within 12 hours. I've never had a real issue with them. If I'm honest, the only issue I have is that I spend way too much money with them! Great & trusted company!
Its a bit awkward since you gotta accept a present from another account. So you have to be already logged in on steam web. You can't just copy and paste a code.It worked fine though. I signed in directly from steam, came back to the kinguin present-accept website, refreshed and accepte the gift.
Easy fast delivery of key, nothing to complain about here !, and trust me, if there was something to complain about I would 😑.Safar sogood Kingpin keep it going 👑
Been using this platform for years. Bought dozens of game keys at great prices. Definitely recommend.
Had a key removed, but requested a refund and after some proof gave me the money back within an hour. Legends.
Instant delivery and low prices are what matter the most here, as a first time customer i'm satisfied by their service :)
I had an awful experience with Kinguin. I placed an order, which was later canceled, but my money was not refunded! Despite contacting customer support, I haven't received any clear resolution or my money back. It feels like I was stolen from, and I'm left frustrated and without what I paid for. I would caution anyone thinking of using Kinguin – be prepared for poor service and the possibility of losing your money. Avoid this platform if you value your time and money!
Quick delivery, easy payment and overall a quick and pleasant experience. Disliked having to make an account to use some payment methods like iDeal, but it's great there's this many payment methods available :)
Kinguin has very good after-sales service and questions, I believe that buying here will be a good choice。
Always good prices on Windows and MS Office but sometimes the activation instructions (links) are out of date. Using the phone activation method seems to work best.
Was easy to navigate and worked instantly, have had zero problems with my windows 11 key and would most definitely recommend this site.
I bought a game for Steam and it is not possible to change the e-mail to my own account, so the game cannot be connected to my own account, as was promised when I bought the game. They cheat and deceive customers - stay away.
Found you guys through a youtuber and was simple received the code it was in spam folder but received it quickly and activated

“Site is for selling stolen goods and buying using stolen cards.”

Email was hacked and the hacker used it to sign up to kinguin.net and go on a shopping spree, wanna guess why they used this site. Well apparently according to customer service this site is not responsible for anything on this site. If you are a scammer or thief then this site is a haven for you with no consequences. Naturally that means I was not refunded. Tip for consumers:If you just stole someone's credit cards or have some stolen game codes then oh boy is this site gonna be your best friend. Products used:none Service Value Returns Quality

“Messed up my currency, item more expensive”

They messed up my currency and that made the item more expensive than if i bought it from the original store. Customer service didn't do anything to help me. Will not return Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Headquarter of scammers”

It's very likely you will get used or invalid keys from them, while they just give excuses to deny the problem. Don't risk your hard earned money and choose a reliable seller like fanatical, gmg or simply buy from Steam on sales. Tip for consumers:Just don't trust them Products used:cd keys Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Missing Keys from Kinguin”

Hey fellow gamers, I've run into a major issue on Kinguin and need your input. Despite having a clear purchase history on both the Kinguin site and PayPal, most of my acquired keys—over 100 of them—are mysteriously missing from my account. 🎮😟 Currently, only two or three are visible, and it's got me seriously concerned. Has anyone else experienced this? I've reached out to Kinguin Support for help, but in the meantime, I wanted to give you all a heads up. Check your accounts, folks! If you've encountered something similar or have any advice, let me know. Gaming community, unite! 🚨🎮 Let's help each other out. Cheers,

“Not transparency information about region”

Information about region is to less visible. And you cant return keys, I've got answer from kinguin support but it's only for good PR because never after answer me. Blame you kinguin. I don't recommend for anyone. Products used:Game Service Value Returns

“Kinguin sells claimed keys and there's nothing a customer can do about it”

I bought an office key for mac and it was claimed by someone, most likely the merchant, before I could use it. Kinguin customer support took around 10 days to finally resolve the claim and they say since the key was claimed after purchase, it must be my fault. They work with shady merchants so be careful buying from them as Kinguin will do nothing to help you. Kinguin might look cheap but if you run into any problems, they will screw you over.

“Excellent Customer Support”

I've had some questions or mix-ups while using Kinguin. The customer support chat was more polite than I expected. They solved my issues relating to coupon codes and offer listings. Thank you particularly to Margo. I'm a happily returning customer. Tip for consumers:I recommend using the chat function even for small questions. Service Value Quality

“They sold me a stolen license”

I bought an ESET Internet Security license from them for two years, after three months the license stopped going through claiming the license already in used. After an inquiry it turns out the license is registered on other computer. I was able to contact with the owner and he told me they sold me a stolen license. I opened inquiries about the issue in their customer service. For now, they are not answering. Tip for consumers:Dont buy from them!!! Products used:ESET Internet Security Key (2 Years / 1 PC) Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Scam Site”

Purchased a code from the site that was already used/redeemed. Contacted support and was very patient in giving them ludicrous amount of information they requested. After more than 10 days - they still refuse to refund me or replace the purchase with an active key. Beyond fraudulent.

“No Merchant management for reviews.”

Despite claiming certain merchants have great standing you cannot add a review to them nor view others. I bought to copies for me and a friend and had it bot sniped seconds after purchase so I couldn't refund or anything. Used to trust the site but it seems as they don't care about customers views or experience.

“Never again!”

I'd never use Kinguin again! I'm all for a bargain but their not worth it. 1st, while advertising Office 10 for $34, at check out they add 2 BS fees and the price goes to around $41. But worst, their access code did not work! I tried all 3 ways they suggested before reaching out to their Customer Service. Initial response was reasonably timely, 1/2 a day maybe, but instructions were not clear so I wrote asking clarification questions. After no response I had to hire a tech at $80 to get it to work. More cost than just buying from recognized places for $100, plus delay and aggravation! I'd give a 0 stars if I could!

“Making me work really hard for my refund”

Got a key that doesn't work, company asked for screenshots as proof, I have now sent them three times and they still haven't given me my money back. Have had to go through PayPal, am preparing to have to fight over this for months. Really wish they would just admit their mistake and refund me. Will happily revise this review if/when that happens.

“Very nice marketplace (NO)”

After few orders they ask me for verification. I passed it and they dispatch my order, but they were switch off credit card option at checkout for me. Nice move! Steam, I bring this money to you, because other is so frightened =)

“Scamming website selling fraud bad codes”

I had ordered a buy and play season pass. Long story short I got a code that was already registered to someone else account. I contacted customer support and they told me they could offer me a refund if I provided screenshots of it not working in email. I added full proof with screenshots yet they continue to say it works, when it doesn't. Ive ordered before from this company twice and I know what would work and this didn't. They also felt like threatening me in email to cancel my PayPal case for the expired/used code with their "legal department" to cancel it, and were super unhelpful in general. They denied me a refund for the bad code several times even with proof of full screenshots of the codes not working. Beware of this company selling fake/used codes there will be no way to get your money back unless you charge back with your bank.

“As long as the key works..”

As long as the key works, everything is fine. Only if suddenly the key does not work and you need support, it will be catastrophic. No reaction, you play dead. Never again! Fortunately with Paypal paid, there the buyer protection takes effect.

“Excellent Support Team”

As a key distributor, it is inevitable that there will be a few issues on occasion with purchases. However every time I have had one, as a buyer or seller, the support team have been polite and very responsive to my issues!

“They sold me a used key and kept my money”

They sold me a key that had already been used, with no refund. First purchase from this site and I was immediately scammed. Looking at all of the other reviews it seems buying on this site is a real gamble, with the chances of actually getting what you pay for becoming increasingly unlikely recently. Will never give these people my money again, and wouldn't advise anybody else to trust them either. Tip for consumers:Loads of reviewers reporting they sell used keys. Products used:None, the download key was already used. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Bad Refund Policy”

I bought an old game that had no one playing online. This was my fault and I requested a refund within the next day of purchasing. A purchase of only $13.69, seems small enough to refund, even with their buyer protection plan. NO action was done by the support agent to keep me as a customer. Service Returns

“Full of scammers”

I recently bought a CD-key for Eset anti-virus and after 2 days the seller disabled the key! Now i'm left vunerable and their customer service is fully robotic, no way to get a human in contact I need to get a refund, sadly it seems only Paypal can help me now

“Scammers and crooks”

Paid for a key for windows 10 pro - got a key that was already in use! Kinguin wont answer emails and they did not inform me that they would require a multitude of very specific screenshots if there was a problem! They will not own the problem and will not refund my $65 so just a waste Don't get conned by these scammers - don't waste your money there!

“Low prices, good service”

Initially I was sceptical about this company providing game keys for very low prices, but since we're talking about a few Euro's here I figured I'd just take the risk. I was hardly surprised when the key I got was already used. I figured this was just another scam company, but decided to fill out a ticket and contact support anyway. To my surprise, the live support chat was both quick and extremely helpful. I got a new key in minutes that worked. The support person even waited for me to get the new key and activate it to make 100% sure the new key did actually work. All in all, I'm a happy customer that would certainly recommend this company.

“Good customer services~!”

Twice purchases for Windows10. There were key number problems, BUT very active and quick customer service helped me to resolve the problems~! There maybe problems. But that will be fixed by Kinguin soon~! Satisfied~@!

“Happy end... After so much trouble.”

I recently encountered an issue while trying to activate a valid key on a certain website, and my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. The website initially stated that the key was valid for the "rest of the world," without specifying any particular countries. Assuming that Switzerland, being outside the EU, fell into the category of "rest of the world," I proceeded with the activation process. However, upon refreshing the page, I was shocked to discover a message stating that the key could not be activated in Switzerland. This contradictory information left me puzzled and frustrated. To resolve the issue, I reached out to the website's support team, but to my dismay, I have been entangled in a two-day-long back-and-forth without any concrete solution. What's even more disappointing is that the seller of the key has not bothered to respond to my inquiries at all. Overall, this experience has been incredibly tiresome and has left me feeling let down. The lack of clear communication and unresponsive support has hindered my progress and wasted valuable time. Please take note of this company. They refuse to replace your faulty key simply because you opened it. How on earth are you expected to know if the key is invalid if you don't open it? It's absurd! I have escalated the issue to PayPal in the hope of getting a refund. EDIT: after 10 days, many emails, refusal to refund, finally got money back via paypal. U have mixed feelings, I hope they improve customer support. Changed rating from 1 to 3 stars. No one should lose time with ridiculous claims by support.

“Good deals, sometimes”

I've got like 17 games from this site, 2 of them, the code has already been used. Luckily the support works pretty fast so they got me a working key after a few hours.

“ERROR status where cd key should be”

While waiting for the CD key to appear for "Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Obsidian Edition", it resulted in an ERROR status. This is odd to me, as I also purchased "Pillars of Eternity Definitive Edition" at the same time without issue. My experience is both good and bad. Service Value

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
