imei.info Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives imei.info the absolute highest trust score on the platform: 100. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Safe. Secure. . We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this very high score? We came up with the 100 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to imei.info's industry. The algorithm detected no high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Safe. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we label this website as secure and trustworthy. We explain this in more detail below.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning imei.info, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between imei.info and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of imei.info. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of imei.info, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. imei.info is a secure website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether imei.info has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether imei.info boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, imei.info.

i have pay it but i still not get the information i need
Process was quick, easy, and thorough. I feel that I got much more than my moneys worth. Truly a bargain. Thanks
The phone, which was described as genuine, was a fake. Never trust the information given by the site.
Literally impossible to check a phone as the adverts on the website cover all the boxes where you're supposed to enter the IMEI number.
It was straightforward no ads interfering with what i was trying to check on the website and in general the service they offer is accurate which of course helps. I was able to check my imei to make sure its clean and i could see which phones were black listed before buying. I did not however use the unlocking service so i’ve got no review on that.
Well my paid answer matched my free answer - which is a good thing as far as my experience but it doesn't help me other than now I know the IMEI is clean.. wonder why my SIM doesnt work? If you have a dirty IMEI I'd say its worth checking their APi by paying 2.99, if you have a clean IMEI I'd say hold off.
My girlfriend has gotten a hold to my device, witch I have a good relationship with my baby mother. They both gotten into it with one another and the woman that I'm with now called and blacklist my device. So I found this web site and gave it a try and it actually helped
Do exactly what they say they do. Have given me enough evidence to disprove a seller claiming I sent back the wrong device, this allowed me to show I never owned the device in question (the storage is 128GB not the 64GB I bought). Would 100% use this service again.
I cannot recommend this service enough! I wasted 5 days with my current carrier, Google, and later T-mobile trying to find out why my phone service stopped working, then to know who blocklisted my IMEI. Then I used this for $2.99, and right away they told me T-Mobile USA had blacklisted my IMEI. I was able to call T-Mobile back armed with this new information (since they had denied it before). Eventually they gave me the email to their fraud department, sent proof I own the phone, and my phone was unblocked in 21 minutes. My assumption is they keyed in the wrong IMEI number reporting it as stolen, even though I bought this phone new and unlocked directly from Google in 2019. This site is legit, and results are fast. Without them I don't think I would have ever been able to use my phone again.
I wanted to find my lost phone, but I don't understand what you showed me, I'm sorry to pay
Date of experience: September 11, 2024
If I could put negative star I would, good thing it's only 3 bucks - you told me my imei was for a green phone and it's not green, and the serial number you gave was also wrong. I just have you 3 dollars for ducking nothing and I don't mean ducking either. Joke, ripoff, liars and cheats, I bet yall are Trump enthusiasts too. duckers
Hmmm... Checked my own iPhone X for fun, actively used in South Africa. I turned Find My iPhone off a few days ago and received an email confirmation from Apple that the service is indeed off. IMEI.info correctly reports that my phone is unlocked but, sadly, it also INCORRECTLY reports that Find My iPhone is ON...It is for that reason that I don't trust the reliability of this service. Maybe it works very well in the US but then don't sell your services elsewhere...
I lost my phone and i put my phone IMEI on the black list so if anyone get access on it they will see that my phone is on th eblack list and stolen by me
Omg! Where can I add more stars for my results. If you are looking for a place to check your phones serial number. Then trust me when I say look no further. My results were give in seconds and the price was really fair. Thank you for creating a super easy site to look up IMEI number.
Good app recomend
Believe it or not. These are scammers. They just stole my hard earned 1.99$ very useless information I paid for. Mderfking mderfkersYou will be scammed and your credit card infor stolen by these thieves
I Payed it because I was going to buy a phone grime someone and I wanted to check If it’s locked with iCloud the results was clean which is mean that there is no iCloud but when restored the phone there was an iCloud !
Horrible SM-G970F is NOT SNAPDRAGON model, it's exynos, but obviously this website is crap.Fix it! I'll better stick with imei24.
Fast, easy and convenient to verify IMEI on an Apple watch. Reasonably priced to make sure the watch is not blacklisted or locked by a carrier. Worth the $3 for peace of mind. Highly rec this website, IMEI.info.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a

fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below. button remove data online

How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices

The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
