I can't say it is the only tool you need to pass the USMLE Step 1; however, it is all you need to practice active recall effectively. If you buy the bundle, I'm 100% sure you won't regret it. I really appreciate Dr. Rahul for all the effort he put into the course and how he keeps you motivated during this difficult phase of life.

Dr. Damania is one of the most knowledgeable and passionate medical educators I've ever encountered. He invests a great deal of time and effort into his webinars and it shows! The two-day COMP/CBSE course was amazing. It not only helped me strengthen my understanding of key topics but also boosted my confidence for my upcoming test. I have been struggling to pass NBME Comp exams in my Caribbean medical school and felt almost lost and on the verge of giving up medical school entirely. I purchased the step 1 and test taking strategies course and it took things in the opposite direction for me. I was able to recognize material even when they try to hide it in question stems, my u world averages began to rise over the course of 2 months, and my timing on questions were extremely more efficient. I owe almost everything to this program and experience that I fully trusted and it paid off, as I was finally able to pass my comp exam on the third try. HY Guru is everything that the name says! He is amazing and will send your medical career in every right direction no matter where you may think you are. I do not recommend anything other than this for your success in Comp and STEP exams!

There are numerous valuable resources to use throughout the first and second years of medical school, but I strongly believe that the ~2 months leading up to the Step exam, a resource that focuses on integration, active recall, test-taking strategy, and most notably, vignette-based learning like Hyguru is most valuable. "Practice like you play" is so important for the USMLE, and Dr. Damania's focus on analyzing how vignettes are presented and how test-makers write questions capitalizes on this concept. The high-yield videos on Youtube are so concise yet cover a wide range of topics that I found to be so worthwile to view in the 2-3 weeks before Step, especially on concepts I was weaker in (MSK/anatomy, for instance). Great mnemonics, great energy, and even recorded videos include active recall. Very thankful to have been taught by Dr. Damania these last few weeks!

For full transparency, Dr. Rahul gifted me his Step 1 Pass/Fail course after I had failed Step 1. I’m so glad I used it on my retake! It was way more helpful than any other third party resource out there because it integrated the different concepts and topics so it didn’t feel like I was just learning random facts. I actually learned how everything worked together. I also found myself going back to study his tables and diagrams because they helped me organize the content in my head. Thank you Dr. Rahul!!

I was getting 40s on my NBMEs until I finally decided to buy Dr. Rahul's step 1 course and after 39% of completing it I jumped right up to the 60s! In the past for my medical school exams I used a more passive type of learning and his style of teaching forces you to think in an active recall way which substantially helped me increase my scores and pass my exam. I really cannot recommend him enough!! Will definitely be back for step 2 ck! He is also an amazing mentor/tutor and genuinely cares about his students and how they are doing, which motivates and uplifts them during USMLE preparation.

Just found out this morning that I passed Step 1! It's been quite the journey getting to this point, and passing this attempt was all or nothing for me. I utilized Rahul's P/F course as well as some private tutoring sessions with him, and both of these definitely contributed to my success. Rahul has become a great mentor and friend, and I would not have been able to overcome this hurdle without him! He consistently checked in with me, listened to my concerns, and helped me create a solid game plan leading up to my exam. He genuinely cares about his students and wants to see them succeed. First came across Dr. Damania in 2021 from his systems reviews on YouTube, and I knew I had to get his course from Step 1 after hearing about my friend ND MD's positive experience. The way he integrates concepts and attacks questions is unparalleled, second to none. My test date was Feb 2023, and I was happy to pass on my first attempt! I passed Step 2 comfortably with a 23x a few months later. Now in Oct 2024, I am revisiting the old course to help me with Step 3!

After failing Step 2CK, I saw a steady rise in my practice exams and passed Step 2 as I utilized the on-demand videos and private tutoring services offered by Dr. Damania. I love that man!
